W hat is ZTE eReader ZTE eReader
ZED
ZTE eReader refers to ZTE Electronic El ectronic Documentation Reader. ZTE eReader serves for you to view and manage man age ZTE ZTE Electronic Electro nic Documentation (ZED).
ZED refers to ZTE Electronic Documentation. The filename extension is “.zed”. A zed form document can be opened by ZTE eReader eRead er only. only.

ZTE eReader Features ZTE
eReader enables you to view and manage
documentation of various products and various versions. ZTE
eReader has a powerful search function. It enables you
to search for required information quickly and precisely. ZTE
eReader has remark adding and favorite adding
functions. You can record your remarks and keep some pages as favorites any time. ZTE
eReader can be upgraded automatically and remotely. It
enables you to acquire latest version and information of ZTE eReader in time.

Obtaining the ZTE eReader Software and ZED
There are two ways: Please visit ZTE technical support website http://support.zte.com.cn. Click ZTE Documentation Explorer on the home page. Download the software, install and start it. Contact local technical support personnel to acquire the ZTE eReader software and ZED.

Installing ZTE eReader After downloading the installation software, unzip the software and run the “setup.exe” file in the folder. Apply all the default settings during the installation. You can modify the password for the administrator (admin, by default). After a successful installation, the program is included in Programs and there is a shortcut icon on your desktop.

Starting ZTE eReader Two ways to start ZTE eReader: Double-click the shortcut icon for ZTE eReader. Select [Start > Programs > ZTE eReader > ZTE eReader].

Configuring an Account After starting ZTE eReader, the
icon appears in the taskbar at the bottom right
corner of the screen. Right-click the
icon and select Settings.
In the ZTE eReader window, click Settings. On the Settings page, set the support user and password for upgrade certification.

Uploading ZED Documents Before uploading, verify that you have obtained ZED documents. You can double-click a documentation package (.zed) to load it. Or you can log in to the ZTE eReader as an administrator, and then load a documentation package. There are two ways to load a documentation package after logging in to the ZTE eReader:

Click the Admin button on the ZTE eReader home page. On the Documentation Package Management page, upload a ZED form document. You can select only one document every time.
2 Right-click the icon and select Settings > Conventional > Upload to upload ZED form documents. You can choose multiple documents every time.

Uploading ZED Documents After uploading ZED documents successfully, the ZED documents are displayed on the home page.
Click a ZED document to view it.
Click the Detail button
