O Originator of Creation, Your Goodness suffices all existence, I beg of You to cover up our vile deeds and idle speech.

YƗ mnjjidal khalqi ৬urrƗ, wa mnjsiǥal kulli birrƗ. As’aluk asbƗla sitrƗ, ǥalal qabƗ’iত wal akh৬Ɨl.

FawqalladhƯ rƗma ǥabduk, fadrik biraতmatik fil তƗl.

O Most Generous, we appeal to Your Kindness. All good is Yours, and what comes from You; Grant more than Your servant has aimed for; save me through Your Mercy at this very instance.

O my Lord! Lord of all lords! Your bondsman, your destitiute one is at Your door He has come while all causes have been severed; realising the error of his ways after having faltered.

YƗ wasiǥal jnjdi jnjduk, alkhayru khayruk wa ǥindak.

AtƗ wa qad battal asbƗb, mustadrikan baǥda mƗ mƗl.

YƗ rabbi yƗ rabbal arbƗb, ǥabduk faqƯruk ǥalal bƗb.

Famnun ǥalaynƗ bil’iqbƗl, wa kullanƗ waৢliতil bƗl.

YƗ rabbi yƗ ǥƗlimal তƗl, ilayka wajjahtul ƗmƗl. O my Lord! Knower of our condition, I direct my hopes to You. Grace us with your Attention, be with us, and set right our affairs.

O Knower of our secrets, do not remove (your) protective veil from us; Exempt us, forgive us, and be there for us wherever we are.

YƗ ǥƗlimas sirri minnƗ, lƗ tahtikis sitra ǥannƗ.

Wa ǥƗfinƗ waǥfu ǥannƗ, wa kullanƗ তaythu kunnƗ.

YƗ wayতa nafsil ghawiyyah, ǥanis sabƯlis sawiyyah. Aঌতat turawwij ǥalayyah, wa qaৢduhal jƗhu wal mƗl.

Woe upon my deviating soul, straying from the right path, Goading me on to chase after fame and fortune.

And my love for this wicked world which is barren of all virtue, Loaded with calamities, filled with troubles and distractions.

Wa তubbi dunyƗ dhamƯmah, min kulli khayrin ǥaqƯmah. FƯhal balƗyƗ muqƯmah, wa তashwuhƗ ƗfƗt washghƗl.

I complain to You and I cry over my wrongdoings and falsehoods, My evil deeds and negligence, my lust for idle gossip.

O my Lord! O my Lord! I beg Your pardon. My good opinion of You will never waiver, O Sovereign, King of the Dominion.

O my Lord! I rely on You, just as much as I depend on You, Truly, my utmost desire is Your Eternal Satisfaction.

O Seer of the secrets of my heart, it is enough for me that You look at me, Wipe away my sins with Your Forgiveness, and set my intentions and actions aright.

Ashknj ilayka wa abkƯ, min shu’mi ਌ulmƯ wa ifkƯ. Wa snj’i fiǥlƯ wa tarkƯ, wa shahwatil qƯli wal qƗl.

YƗ rabbi yƗ rabbi innƯ, as’alukal ǥafwa ǥannƯ. Wa lam yakhib fƯka ਌annƯ, yƗ mƗlikal mulki yƗ wƗl.

Rabbi ǥalaykaǥtimƗdƯ, kamƗ ilaykastinƗdƯ. ৡidqan wa aqৢƗ murƗdƯ, riঌƗ’ukad dƗ’imul তƗl

Famতu biǥafwika dhambƯ, waৢliত quৢnjdƯ wal aǥmƗl.

YƗ man yarƗ sirra qalbƯ, তasbi৬৬ilƗǥuka তasbƯ.

And bless him to repent in such a way that it will wash away his sins, And keep him from relapsing into evil, which he has resolved to turn away from.

Wamnun ǥalayhi bitawbah, taghsilhu min kulli তawbah.

Waǥৢimhu min sharri awbah, likulli mƗ ǥanhu qad তƗl.

Coming to You with an apology, humble and poor. So with your Felicity, Generosity, and sheer Favour, ease the supplicant’s distress.

Wa qad atƗka biǥudhrihƯ, wa binkisƗrihƯ wa faqrihƯ, Fahzim biyusrika ǥusrihƯ, bimaতঌi jnjdik wal’afঌƗl.

Wa yartajƯ lithawƗbik, wa ghaythu raতmatik ha৬৬Ɨl.

YƗ rabbi ǥabduk bibƗbik, yakhshƗ alƯma ǥadhƗbik.

Falaysa shay’un thamma khƗfƯ, ǥalayka tafৢƯl wajmƗl.

O my Lord! Your Goodness suffices us. Grace us with well being. There is nothing in existence, whether general or specific, hidden from Your Sight.

YƗ rabbi yƗ khayra kƗfƯ, aতlil ǥalaynal ǥawƗfƯ.

O my Lord! Your bondsman is at Your door, fearing the pain of Your Punishment, Longing for Your Reward when the relief of Your Mercy rains down.

I beg You, O my Lord, cure my heart. Release me from distress; look (kindly) on my sorrow and dispel it.

Qadistaǥintuka rabbƯ, ǥalƗ mudƗwƗti qalbƯ. Wa তalli ǥuqdati karbƯ, fan਌ur ilal ghammi yanjƗl.

Wa fil তu਌nj਌i kabatnƯ, wa qayyadatnƯ bil’ikbƗl.

O my Lord it has overpowered me and imprisoned me with desires, It subdues me with prosperity, and shackles me in chains.

YƗ rabbi qad ghalabatnƯ, wa bil’amƗnƯ sabatnƯ.

Praise and Thanks be to AllƗh for His boundless Bounties. We Praise Him secretly and openly, day and night.

Man kullamathul ghazƗlah, Muতammadinil hƗdid dƗl. Walতamdu lillƗhi shukrƗ, ǥalƗ niǥami minhu tatrƗ. Naতmadhu sirran wa jahrƗ, wa bilghadƗyƗ wal’ƗৢƗl.

And bestow Your Salutations always upon the dispeller of misguidance, Whom the gazelle has spoken to: Muতammad, the guide.

Wa ৢalli fƯ kulli তƗlah, ǥalƗ mazƯliঌ ঌalƗlah.

Wajǥal jinƗnak maৢƯrƯ, wakhtim bil’ƯmƗnil ƗjƗl.

YƗ rabbi anta naৢƯrƯ, falaqqinƯ kulla khayr.

O my Lord! You are my Helper, so allow me to meet with all good. Make Your Paradise my destination, and bring my life to a close upon faith.

Your Generosity, Bounty, and Munificence are longed for. Your Punishment and coercive Power are feared. You are forever worthy of Remembrance, Thanks, Praise, and Exaltation.

Jnjduk wa faঌluk wa birruk, yurjƗ wa ba৬shuk wa qahruk.

YukhshƗ wa dhikruk wa shukruk, lƗzim wa তamduk wal’ijlƗl.

You are the Sovereign of all Sovereigns, Alone in Perfection. In Exaltation and Sublimity, You transcend all comparison.

Fa’anta mawlal mawƗlƯ, almunfarid bilkamƗl. Wa bilǥulƗ wattaǥƗlƯ, ǥalawta ǥan ঌarbil amthƗl.
