Outbound Process Using Pick HUs as Shipping HUs 1 Purpose This document describes the simple outbound process, which supports the goods issue and picking operations in your warehouse. It describes the sequence of tasks you need to execute in the system and the corresponding warehouse activities. Before executing this process, replenishment has to be done to create stock in Storage Type T051, since products are picked only from this storage type. The simple outbound process itself can be used, for example, for direct sales due to an Outbound Delivery with no reference created in SAP ERP, and the quantity of each Outbound Delivery Item should not exceed the replenishment quantity.

Prerequisites
2.1 Master Data and Organizational Data Default Values The organizational structure and master data of your company was created in your SAP ERP system during implementation. The organizational structure reflects the structure of your company. The master data represents materials, customers, and vendors, for example, depending on the operational focus of your company. The business process is enabled with this organization-specific master data, examples are provided in the next section. Additional Default Values You can test the scenario with other SAP Best Practices default values that have the same characteristics. Check your SAP ECC system to find out which other material master data exists. Using Your Own Master Data You can also use customized values for any material or organizational data for which you have created master data. For more information on how to create master data, see the Master Data Procedures documentation.
Use the following master data in the process steps described in this document: The customers and product used in this process are created during the activation of the Y33 building block as manual steps. The following customers are used in the preconfigured sample processes: Customer

2.2 Business Conditions The business process described in this Business Process Documentation is part of a larger chain of integrated business processes or scenarios. As a result, you must have completed the following processes and fulfilled the following business conditions before you can start any activities in this scenario: Business Condition
Scenario
You have completed all steps described in the ERPEWM Integration Business Process Documentation.
ERP-EWM Integration (Y31)
You have set up the required warehouse structure.
Sample Warehouse Structure (Y32)
You have set up the central master data.
Central Master Data (Y33)
You have set up Replenishment.
Automatic Replenishment (Y41)
You have completed the configuration settings described in the Outbound Process Using Pick HUs as Shipping HUs Configuration Documentation.

5. The stock overview will be shown on the right screen area. Depending on the stock level of the products, there can be 3 different cases. •
For the first time you execute this process, you do not have any stocks in the picking area, which will result in automatic creation of picking WT failure. In this case, refer to the preliminary step Performing Planned Replenishment in the Automatic Replenishment (Y41) process to fill up the picking area.
•
You have stocks in the picking area but not sufficient for the outbound delivery. For the simple outbound process, the picking is always from T051 storage type. If the picker has found a smaller quantity in the storage bin than was requested, the warehouse clerk enters an exception code and records the quantity difference in the WT by entering the quantity that was actually picked. Using this confirmation, the system reduces the stock in the current bin by the quantity difference. In such cases, no additional pick-WTs are created for the remaining quantities, and the WT creation for the missing quantity requires manual interaction. In an attempt to execute the following process without manual creation of WTs, make sure the quantity of each Outbound Delivery Item does not exceed the available quantity.
