LESSON OBJECTIVES

: By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to: 1. listen to the recording and sequence the steps in making the fruit salad 2. write simple sentences on how to make fruit salad. EDUCATION EMPHASES : 1. : 1. Thinking skills: Pupils have to recap the steps in making fruit salad when they have to sequence the steps in making fruit salad and when they have to make the real fruit salad. 2. Contextualised learning- Pupils can apply the knowledge into their daily living and some of them might have made the fruit salad before. MORAL VALUE : Co-operation. Pupils will learn to work with their friends in groups. LANGUAGE CONTENT : 1. Nouns- Apples, Apples, orange, orange, pear 2. Verbs- Wash, cut, put, squeeze, mix, serve TEACHING AIDS  AIDS  :  Pictures, flashcards, audio recording, laptop, speaker, fishing rods containing sentences, worksheet, marker pens, ingredients to make fruit salad PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE KNOWLEDGE : Students are familiar with the types of fruits that they will use in making fruit salad. ANTICIPATED PROBLEM : Some pupils are not able to write simple sentences on how to make fruit salad. POSSIBLE SOLUTION : Teacher will have to provide some guidance such as clues or key words to guide them in writing simple sentences in making fruit salad. STAGE / TIME

Steps on How to Make Fruit Salad: 1. Wash the fruits. 2. Cut the fruits into small pieces. 3. Put the fruits into a big bowl. 4. Squeeze some mayonnaise sauce on the fruits. 5. Mix the fruits. 6. Serve the salad in small bowls.

1) Teacher has hid a picture of fruit salad under the table of a few pupils. 2) Teacher starts the lesson by asking the pupils to look under their table and tell her what the picture is.
