Students are given a slip of papers of sentences and abbreviaons. 2. Students nd their partners. 3. Students discuss in pairs to construct sentences using the correct abbreviaons. 4. Students share their answer and teacher discusses.

Acvity 2 1. Students are given the wring task about four dierent occasions for each group. 2. Teacher Teacher elicits answers from students by asking example of occasions that they know. 3. Students answer the quesons based on the wring task about their occasion. 4. Teacher Teacher calls out a representave from each group to give their answers. Acvity 3 1. Students read the example email. 2. Teacher Teacher asks students to answer quesons in task B to make sure students understand underst and about the email. 3. Students underline the abbreviaons in the email individually individually.. 4. Students share and check their answers in pairs. 5. Students share the answers as a class.

 

Acvity 4 1. Teacher Teacher asks students to read the quesons. 2. Students answer task D in group by wring the answers on a mini whiteboard and teacher discusses together as a class. Acvity 5 1. Teacher Teacher explains to students that they should plan carefully before begin a piece of wring. 2. Teacher Teacher asks students to look back at the example email and to say how many paragraphs paragraphs it has (four). Teacher Teacher explains that each e ach paragraph deals with separate informaon. 3. Teacher Teacher asks students to look back at task C (email) and the abbreviaons they underlined. 4. Teacher Teacher explains to students that they should match 1-6 with a-f depending on the informaon in the email. 5. Students answer the quesons individually, individually, but check answers as a class.
