Welding

Step controlled power source in a compact design with integral fully enclosed wire feed units, intended for welding with solid steel, stainless steel or aluminium wire as well as tubular wire. Can also be used for MIG brazing with or without shielding gas. Easy polarity change allows the use of both conventional solid wire and self shielding cored wire. Type H: Yellow hot surface marker for applications like colour coding foundry risers and runners and non-ferrous metals whilst hot, coils, billets, bars, ingots etc. Temp marking range 65°C to 650°C. Flaw Inspection System

SL1-400A A specially formulated, high performance, white fluid, designed to identify even the smallest gaseous leak. Applies a thin uniform film of surface active agents which accurately identify any leak or bleeding of joints, bubbles in the applied film indicate the location of the leak. Propelled by compressed air - will not give a false reading if mechanical sensing equipment is used. Suitable for use with most common gases including compressed air, acetylene, butane, propane, chlorine, hydrogen and natural gas.

Fast reliable method for visually inspecting and spot-checking surfaces of welds, exotic alloys or standard metals, highly stressed structural members, critical castings, shafts, gears, spindles, and any other hard part where identification of surface flaws is essential. Detects flaws such as cracks, pin holes, welding laps and porousness either during manufacture or on-site. A three part system: SF1-500B is a cleaner. SF2-500B is a dye penetrant. SF3-500B is a developing fluid that reacts with the dye in SF2-500B to show small cracks in the weld. Each part supplied in an ozone friendly 500ml aerosol.

SW1-400C Solvent-based coating that is applied to metal before welding. During welding small blobs of molten metal fall either side of the weld. These blobs are called spatter, this coating is applied before welding and prevents the spatter from sticking to the metal. CO2 gas propelled aerosol. Totally non-flammable. Silicone free and easily removed with solvents prior to galvanising or painting.
