Introduction •

The kidneys receive the blood from the renal artery" process it" return the processed blood to the body through the renal vein and remove the astes in the urine*



+rine flos from the kidneys through the ureters to the bladder* In the bladder " the urine is stored until it is e#creted from the body through the urethra*



Diuresis means emptying the urinary bladder of urine*

To determine the effect of consuming sodium chloride on the urine output in man



To compare and contrast the data collected after recording the measurement of the urine after a given time interval from each patient

/rocedure  0* one to consume ater and Kiamoy .* one to consume ater  1* one to consume ater and perform an e#ercise The group should select and assign the conditions they are to ork ith" a meeting before the actual day of the e#periments* 2ach one should take note of his&her eight because the amount of fluid to be consumed should be e3uivalent to 45 of the eight* 6or e#ample of the sub-ect is 78 kgs945 of  •



78kgs is 8*7 kg of fluid or 8*7 liter of fluid since 4 kg is e3ual to 4 liter*



(trictly follo these rules before the performance of the e#periments:



4* 'ave only a light breakfast or lunch beforehand*



* Do not drink tea" coffee or soft drinks of alcoholic drinks*



;* 2#perimentation



a* (ub-ects must empty the bladder an hour before coming to class* Record the time*



b* Immediately before drinking the fluid provided for : the sub-ect must empty his bladder again* Record the time*



c* 6or the ne#t to hours" the sub-ect regularly empties the bladder at 8 minutes intervals* .eteen the times" he remains comfortably seated*



6or the sub-ect assigned to e#ercise after the ater intake:



a* 'e& she ill perform an e#ercise that involves the considerable effort but does not cause profuse seating for 4< minutes* This



is to be done beteen 8 minutes after drinking the ater*



b* Record your data collection* Include in the date the se# of the sub-ects*



c* 1ollation of all class result should be done so that the class can see the range of results*
