A SHORTCUT TO THE BA SICS BASIC S OF OF WA WATER ACTIVATIO ION N IN YOUR PROPERTY In all its gentleness and grace, WATER is a very powerful element; in fact, water is one of the most potent forces of nature. It’s no surprise that Water as an element plays a vital role in Chinese Metaphysics. The Water Feng Shui element is also the only element that is very free in its presence and expression – it can happily run along the surface of the earth (rivers, oceans), as well as fiercely flow from the higher grounds (waterfalls). Why water though? What does it mean? Well, in Feng Shui, everything boils down to the fundamental principle of Yin and Yang – the concept of balance. This being said, the significance of water in Feng Shui is related to its Yang quality. Being a Yang component (active component) in Feng Shui, water’s role naturally relates to activation or movement. It plays the role of accumulating and activating Qi. Where there is water, there is Qi. And when the Qi is there, it accumulates. But keep in mind that water itself doesn’t emit Qi. It merely collects, stimulates and activates the Qi. Water can also be used to direct, redirect, retain Sheng Qi (growing Qi) and neutralize Sha Qi (killing Qi) appropriately.

STILL CURIOUS ? LET’S CLEAR YOUR DOUBTS 1. What type of water can or should be used for “water activation” purposes? Still water or moving water? You can’t use still water for this purpose. IT HAS TO BE MOVING OR FLOWING water. The 'brand' of water doesn't matter either. It won't make a difference if it''s Evian water, Diamond water, or even normal tap water.

2. How big should my water container be? Size and depth matter. Please do not place a small glass of water in the corner of a room and consider the job done. Shallow and small containers generally do not work well to activate the Qi. The size of the container to store the water has to be more than 2 feet deep and 2 feet wide.

> 2ft 3. Does it make a difference if the container is covered or not ? It is advisable for the container to be left open as the water needs to be both seen and exposed for the Qi to be collected.
4. Does multiple activation dates double the positive effects it brings? NO! it doesn’t. Using more dates to activate the same sector just reactivates the energy.

5. Why an aquarium? Aquarium are aesthetically aesthetically pleasing, and easy to to be kept kept active just place some fishes in it and it’s good to go!
6. Does it matter if one of the water activation dates falls on the day it clashes with a particular animal sign? If the water activation date falls on the day where it clashes with one of your animal sign, then that particular date can’t be used for YOU. This only applies to those who have that particular clashing animal sign in their BaZi natal chart. the dates are still applicable to others.
