To: BAJA Participants, Faculty Advisors, College HODs & Principals, 10th June 2015 Greetings from BAJA SAEINDIA It is testimony to your efforts and commitment that made BAJA SAEINDIA 2015 an amazing success and I would like to personally thank each one of you who made this event a remarkable one. This event has been built through shared passion and enthusiasm among students all over the country. The success of BAJA continues and with renewed passion we broke all previous records and received phenomenal response to BAJA registrations this year, crossing the 395 mark which includes 33 eBAJA teams. I am delighted to announce that the virtual round of BAJA SAEINDIA 2016 would take place in Chitkara University, Chandigarh-Patiala National Highway (NH-64), Punjab on 10th and 11th July 2015. For the first time, in addition to the presentation, we are inducting a written test for all the participating teams, which will carry equal weightage in your final selection. The evaluation process will contain two elements 1. Written Test – 100 marks – 30 minutes (It will test your knowledge on Rulebook (50 marks) & General basic mechanical & automobile engineering questions (50 marks) 2. Presentation – 100 marks – 30 minutes After a two days of vigorous assessment based on written as well as the presentation round, the final list of selected teams will be published on the official website of BAJA SAEINDIA/Facebook forum. Further details on Presentation Slots, Written Test timings, Written Test/ Presentation formats & other related information will be shared to the teams by 12th June 2015 by the Alumni Committee and will also be uploaded on the website.
