We had learned the new and different strategies that we could adapt and utilize in making learning more enjoyable, effective and productive for our learners. The Vinset presented different teaching and learning approaches e.g. mobile application development; productivity tools for learning which includes Microsoft Office 365; Google Applications for education (Google Workplace); Adobe Software Tool; Computer Science Coding and Programing; Animation; as well as in house application e.g. DepEd Commons; LRMDS through the Learning Management System; DepEd TV for video instructional lessons; Radio Based Instructions; Digital Interactive Materials; Open Educational Resources (OERs) and Inclusion programs that can facilitate teaching and learning. In addition, topics on Cyber bullying (Knowing your Rights); Positive Discipline and Mental Health issues and management were also clearly explained. The Vinset was actually a huge impact to us teachers. It was a realization that we don’t only teach. We have to put our hearts in it, so we could also follow the trend of the new normal learning. Salute to the Department of Education for always finding possible ways to be of help to teachers to grow personally and professionally. KUDOS for a job well done! III.

Insights Gained: As teachers, in this new normal era, we need to be adaptive to changes and challenges brought by the current situation. Innovate ourselves to new learnings. We have a lot more things to offer to our beloved learners. We just need to widely open our doors and windows and let the new opportunities to come in. We are living in a modern world, and so technology nowadays plays a vital role in delivering the best quality education to our learners. Therefore, we oughtn’t be stagnant with what we have and what we know. Explore! This is exactly what we want for our learners. Take the lead. Remember, the ability to adapt and to learn is a matter of CHOICE.
