Overview What is UniFi Staff Package?

UniFi Staff package is specially offered to TM employees to enjoy the benefits of TM’s high speed broadband service.

New UniFi staff package will be launched on 29th April 2011.
To subscribe to this package, the following conditions prevail: 1. Available to all staff in TM and TM subsidiaries.(inclusive of contract staff under TM) 2. Leasing Staff are not eligible to subscribe UniFi Staff package 3. Each staff is entitled to subscribe up to 3 broadband packages combining both Streamyx & UniFi. 4. Applicable only for serviceable UniFi Area

Business Rules A valid Staff ID must be provided.(staff id must be verified & 1 photocopy) A staff can only subscribe up to 3 broadband packages combining both Streamyx & UniFi. Applicable only for serviceable UniFi Area. Available to all staff in TM and TM subsidiaries. Leasing Staff are not eligible to subscribe UniFi Staff package. Applicable only for VIP packages. Package features are similar with Commercial residential packages. Registration and processing at TMpoint only. Credit Management policy is also applicable to subscription via staff package Other business rules are similar to Commercial residential packages and subject to UniFi service standard Terms & Conditions. The minimum subscription period for UniFi is 24 months. RM500 will be charged for pre-mature service termination.

Treatment for existing Streamyx Contract period for staff with existing Streamyx Netbook Package shall be continued from Streamyx account to UniFi account for the remaining period of the netbook contract. If UniFi service is terminated during the netbook contract period, an Early Termination Fee (ETC) of RM600 is chargeable

Treatment for existing Streamyx Any Streamyx early termination fee will be waived in the events of upgrading to UniFi. Streamyx staff package are allowed to upgrade to UniFi Staff Package. Only applicable if the Streamyx service is within the UniFi serviceable area Existing Streamyx Netbook Package The netbook price of RM10 will be charged in UniFi bill until end of Streamyx netbook Package contract. The UniFi price will be back to base price after end of netbook contract period. Price back to normal after netbook contract

FAQ 1. I already have 3 UniFi staff package, what happen if I want to subscribe for another UniFi staff package? Each staff only entitle up to 3 packages ( combination of Streamyx & UniFi). The system will not allow if you have exceeded 3 packages. 2. Currently I’m having UniFi Staff package with old price, what happen if I want to migrate for higher package? Do I still get the old package price? The upgrade and downgrade from old UniFi staff package will only be allowed to the new set of UniFi Staff package price. 3. Is there any penalty charges if I want to migrate from Streamyx that is still within contract period to UniFi staff package ? The penalty charge of Streamyx will be waived when selecting the reason code of “migrate to UniFi” in BAU system. 4. What happen if the netbook amount of RM10 is still being charged in the bill after contact period of netbook end? If there is a double charge of RM10 during the overlapping period between Sreamyx & UniFi. Credit Adjustment will be issued in Streamyx account..

FAQ 5. Can I subscribe UniFi Staff Package via TM UniFi Centre? You cannot subscribe UniFi Staff Package via TM UniFi Centre as the registration and processing will only happen at TMpoint. 6. What happen if I want to migrate from existing Streamyx and my previous payment is under salary deduction or auto pay, do this package carry the same payment method ? If you are currently on Salary Deduction, the arrangement will be discontinued when you terminate your streamyx. You can then opt to pay UniFi bill via cash or credit card.
If you are now under Auto Pay, you must provide again your credit card detail to the processor as the information is not viewable due to security.
