ABBREVIATIONS ch: chain sc: single crochet 1 inc: singe crochet 2 stitches in the same stitch 1 dec: single crochet 2 stitches together sl: slip stitch
MATERIAL YOU NEED - Yarn in beige, pink/mint, grey and a small amount of different colours for the mane and sprinkles - 3.00 mm and 2.50 mm crochet hooks (or the sizes you need depending on your type of yarn) - Tapestry Needle - Polyester stuffing - 8 mm safety eyes - Black embroidery floss - Locking stitch marker Approximate size of a finished unicorn unicorn donut : 8.5 x 7.5 cm Yarn suggestions: Svarta Fåret Tilda, Scheepjes Catona, Schachenmayr Catania

You are going to crochet in a continuous spiral, do not join the rounds. Use a locking stich marker to mark the beginning of the rounds.
DONUT With beige and 3.00 mm hook Chain 18, join with 1 sl to the first ch R1-2: 18 sc (2 rounds, 18) Change to your main colour R3-4: 18 sc (2 rounds, 18) R5: [2 sc, 1 inc] x6 (24) R6: [3 sc, 1 inc] x6 (30) R7: [4 sc, 1 inc] x6 (36) R8: [5 sc, 1 inc] x6 (42) R9: [6 sc, 1 inc] x6 (48) R10: [7 sc, 1 inc] x6 (54) R11-12: 54 sc (2 rounds, 54) Change to beige R13-14: 54 sc (2 rounds, 54) Now it’s time to weave in all the ends.
If you are going to use safety eyes you should attach them now. Place the safety eyes between rounds 8-9 with 6 sc between R15: [7 sc, 1 dec] x6 (48) R16: [6 sc, 1 dec] x6 (42) R17: [5 sc, 1 dec] x6 (36) R18: [4 sc, 1 dec] x6 (30) R19: [3 sc, 1 dec] x6 (24) R20: [2 sc, 1 dec] x6 (18) Finish with 1 sl. Cut the yarn but leave a long yarn tail for sewing. Sew the donut togheter, stuff with polyester filling and keep doing that as the hole becomes smaller.
EARS (make two) With your main colour and 3.00 mm hook Start with a magic ring R1: 6 sc into the magic ring R2: 6 sc (6) R3: [1 inc] x6 (12) R4-6: 12 sc (3 rounds, 12) Finish with 1 sl, leave a long yarn tail for sewing.
Pin the ears to your donut and sew them on.

UNICORN HORN With beige and 2.50 mm hook Start with a magic ring R1: 6 sc into the magic ring R2: 6 sc (6) R3: [1 sc, 1 inc] x3 (9) R4-6: 9 sc Finish with 1 sl, leave a long yarn tail for sewing Stuff the horn Pin the horn to the top of the unicorn donut and sew it on
NOSE With grey and 3.00 mm hook Start with a magic ring R1: 6 sc into the magic ring (6) sl in the first sc, fasten off leaving a 10 cm long tail for sewing.
Pin the nose to your unicorn uni corn donut and sew it on Embroid two black nostrils, I used 3 strands of DMC embroidery floss
FINISHING Sew the cheeks on with light pink yarn. Embriod the mane on top of the unicorn uni corn donut Embroid sprinkels in different colours
