Create a static general ste with the following settings. Nlgeom: On Initial Increment size: 0.1 Max Increment size: 0.1 The Nlgeom option update the geometry as the analysis progresses. This is generally used for Non-linear and large displacement analyses. The increment settings specify that the first time step attempts to solve 0.1/1 of the analysis rather than the entire analysis like the previous tutorial . It also specifies that there should be a minimum of 10 time steps in the sol tion and that no time step should be larger than 0.1/1.
