8. Training Objective: Training is a focus area and it is imperative that training is identified and imparted periodically. This policy provides guidelines for carrying out training, which is need based. Training Calendar Preparation After collating training needs of all employees a common training calendar is released by HR. Training Calendar is prepared in consultation with HODs and Institutional Heads. Annual Training Calendar is released but reviewed every quarter to modify/add new programs based on the needs. Training could be through both inhouse programs or external training courses. Training calendar covers both in-house and external training courses. All departmental Heads will be circulated of the training Calendar. Format: Training Calendar – Annexure 8A

Nomination of employees for Training:

Employees are nominated to training programs by the Head of the Department. The nominated employee has to compulsorily attend the program. Failing to attend the program would be viewed seriously. Document: Training Nomination – Annexure 8b Feedback At the end of every program, the feedback is collected to check the effectiveness of the program, the methodology and the trainer. This will serve as a guide to handle / manage / organize future training programs. Document: Training Feedback form– Annexure 8c
