LESSON 2 Useful Stitches, seams and seam Finishes

- Demonstrate understanding of/on basic stitches

A project is produced in accordance to the design specifications.

-Creation of different hand stitches on a piece of cloth. Improvement of a pillowcase in terms of stitches used to make it a letter textile product.

LESSON 3 Choosing fabric and colors for household linens, soft furnishings and pajamas.

Demonstrate understanding of/on: 1. The characteristics of fibers, finishes, and fabrics that help the students select the best fabric for sewing products/projects at a reasonable price. 2. The different labels printed on the selvage of the fabric that give fiber and finish information.
