Home is where the heart is designed and diagrammed by Sara Adams in March 2020 www.happyfolding.com

  Start with the color side up   for a colored roof and heart.

  1. Fold into thirds using   your preferred method.

2. Fold down the top raw   edge along an existing   crease line. Fold the   bottom raw edge to the   1/3 crease line.

3. Crease the center.

4. Fold in on both sides.   Next step: enlarged view

8. Squash-fold asymmetrically   to align the raw edge   (2nd layer) with the center    of the bottom edge. Avoid   creasing right of the center    (dotted line in Step 9).

7. Mountain-fold along an   existing crease line.   Flip over the model.

6. Squash-fold on both   sides.

5. Precrease the top layer    on both sides.

9. Unfold Step 8 and repeat   it on the other side. Then   refold both sides, forming   a rabbit-ear with a small   flap in the center.

10. Fold behind the squash  folds on existing creases.   Fold behind small corners   to finish shaping the heart.   Flip over the model.

11. Fold up, creasing   through all layers.   Make a strong crease.

12. Precrease the diagonal   folds, then fold behind   both corners at the same   time to form a rabbit-ear.

16. Congratulations,   you have completed

15. Fold behind both sides   at the corners of the roof,

14. Optionally tuck inside   the flap to hide it and
