How to Use This Book  Using Origami Paper   Aboutt orig  Abou o rigami ami pape paperr

About Abo ut the pape paperr shape s hape/si /size ze Paper size 6 in (15 cm)

This sheet needed to be cut in half before before the folding fun could begin.

In this book we mainly use kami and duo papers: “kami” paper has one side in color and the other side is plain white, whereas “duo” is double-sided origami paper, with a dierent color on each side. The size of the average origami paper size is 6” x 6” (15 cm x 15 cm).

Panda 6 in (15 cm)

I will indicate how many origami papers you will need before you start folding. Sometimes you will need to cut the papers in half or into shapes.

When grouping origami models together, think about the balance of their sizes. Sometimes you’ll be using papers like those in the example I show above.

Googly Eyes In the photos in this book, you’ll notice that I attached some googly-eye stickers to the origami models. You can leave the models undecorated if you prefer. But I think that attaching the googly eyes on the many animals makes them cuter and more realistic! You can use the included googly-eye stickers instead of drawing on eyes with a pen!

How to Fold Correctly Look ahead at the next photo  while  whi le fol folding ding

When the folding is challenging, look at the photo for the following step to make sure you’re doing it right.

If the two corners are not aligned, the origami paper won’t fold neatly! Make sure the two corners are aligned perfectly before folding the center center..

Check the difficulty ranking! Easy

Simple origami that even young children can try try.. I recommend elementaryschool children and older kids who’ve never tried origami before start from here!

Once you get used to the easier origami, try the “intermediate” di culty models.

Origami with many steps or di cult folding required. Do your best to fold them correctly!
