But, you must choose it! You must go after wealth and prosperity with gusto, determination and perseverance. To live and not be wealthy is a misfortune. You could have been born rich just as easily as having been born poor. No matter where you are now; no matter how frustrated you are; no matter how desperate you are, you can overcome the obstacles that stand in your way to an abundant and prosperous life. You have the power to change the world by changing your thoughts, feelings and intentions. You have the power and ability to manifest wealth and abundance. This book will start you on this path.
Ninth Yogic Power The practitioners of the Ninth Siddhi believe that within each one of us is a powerful energized spirit. This spirit seeks fulfillment in the world through the acquisition of knowledge and wisdom. The knowledge that our spirits seek that allows it to blossom has been forgotten by many of our spiritual leaders. The food which our spirits so desperately need is not available through traditional orthodox channels. This book tries to inform the reader of the possibilities available to people that will lead to wealth and prosperity albeit in a nontraditional way. That is, to a state of grace producing an abundance of wealth and prosperity. Dr. Gopala, the founder of this system, calls this state of grace the ninth yogic power. As will be discussed in later chapters, this state of grace is very pertinent to Christians since the discovery of the Gnostic gospels in 1945. Over the last 4,000 years, knowledge of the potential of the human spirit has come to light when needed most by people who are suffering. Today seems to be that time. Most would agree that yoga has become a ubiquitous word in the last few decades. And, Noetic Science has made significant inroads in studying yogic practices and The Ninth Siddhi

has made more than a few innovations regarding human potential. Dr. Gopala cofounder of The Ninth Siddhi has taken all that is known in yoga and Noetic science and condensed this knowledge into a system that produces wealth by using the mind and spirit to predict a specific future event.
The system is a process We believe you have the power to win the lottery using ancient techniques combined with scientific innovation. I know it sounds incredulous. I know it sounds unreasonable. I know it sounds unbelievable. But it is true and it is a reality. However, we are not saying that it is easy. The system is a process. You need to practice the system to get good at it. But you have the power using this system to create wealth and prosperity beyond your imagination. The basis of the system is to energize an intention for wealth and abundance close to the Source of Thought. As part of the training system, you will be taught to use charts to track your progress. In addition, The Ninth Siddhi uses a ranking system. In order to progress through the ranks of Initiate, Soldier of Peace and Principal, you must successfully win a three number game as well as a four number game. After learning the technique by successfully predicting a three and four number lottery sequence, the Soldier may join a group of others who have the same training and work within the group to predict a mega game lottery sequence. We show using scientific evidence that everyone has an inherent ability to use this system to acquire wealth and abundance while producing peace and non-violence in the community. But you must persevere; you must be proactive; you must practice daily.

An incredulous example Look at it like this! Let’s take my wrist watch and your wrist watch set them to exactly the same time and put them both on the kitchen table. Let’s take your wrist watch and put it on a rocket ship and let it orbit the Earth a few times. Let’s bring your watch back and set it on the kitchen table. Let’s look at the time on each watch. They will show different times. Scientists have shown that clocks tick at different speeds the further away one clock gets from a gravitational field as large as the Earths. How can this be? This is incredulous. It is unreasonable to think that clocks tick at different speeds under any conditions. Still, the United States Army adjusts the GPS (Global Positioning System) satellites every 15 minutes because the clock on the Earth and the clock on the satellite in space tick at different speeds. If the clocks are not adjusted our GPS system would get out of sync. The culprit here is Dr. Einstein. Einstein proved that space and time are related in strange ways, which mere mortals like us may never understand. Just like in space, as Einstein predicted, at the most subtle level of our mind, time and space are not as we experience them while we are awake. At the deepest level of our minds, near the source of our thoughts, we are not bound by time and space. As a matter of fact, we argue that this fact gives our mind and spirit predictive ability. We have named this subtle state of mind the Source of Thought. The Ninth Siddhi teaches you how to experience the Source of Thought and use its predictive potential to manifest wealth and prosperity.

Really, there are a lot of incredulous examples that we could talk about that would show we do not understand our day-time reality as well as we think we do. Did you know that if we put you on a space ship and speeded you up to near the speed of light for a few years when you came back to earth 100 years would have gone by? You would have traveled into the future. These facts seem incredulous and unreasonable in our everyday life, yet proven by Nobel Prize winning scientists all around the world. These scientific discoveries show that our everyday mundane experience is not complete. Much more exists to be experienced. The Ninth Siddhi will teach you how to go beyond the mundane and experience a state of grace called Transcendence. With these scientific examples, it is not hard to believe that there exists a field of being – a fourth state of consciousness - available to you that has predictive potential. Although we decided to call this fourth state of consciousness the Source of Thought, this experience has gone by many other names over the last 4,000 years. A few names are Atma, Para, Pure Awareness, Transcendental Awareness, Bliss Consciousness, Samadhi, Transcendental Consciousness, and State of Being. And now a new more modern name, The Unified Field, coined by Dr. John Hagelin, a director at the Institute for Noetic Science.
Basis of the System The basis of the system is to set an energized intention to predict a winning lottery number close to the Source of Thought. This book will teach you how to accomplish this task. Before we begin, we take a few pages in Chapter One to make you aware of the founder of this system – Dr. Gopala. He is the inspiration and motivation for this book.

The rest of the book is divided into two sections: The Tradition Section and the Craft Section. The Tradition Section discusses the basis of the system, namely to set an energized intention close to the Source of Thought in order to predict, prophesize, or heal. The technique is discussed through the tradition of Eastern thought, the Jewish Tradition, and the new Christian Gnostic Gospels. This technique has been used by people of all faiths to predict and heal for over 4,000 years. In the East, the technique was also used to teach levitation and invisibility as well as six other yogic powers. Today we use this technique to predict the lottery, and thus, it is the ninth technique or the ninth yogic power. We choose to use the Sanskrit word “Siddhi” instead of the western word “power,” so we call the system The Ninth Siddhi. The Ninth Siddhi has an incredible tradition which crosses cultural boundaries and religious experience. We at the Ninth Siddhi believe that all practitioners should know the tradition of this technique that aspires to teach a super normal skill. This tradition will create confidence in the initiate, remove any doubt about the nature of the technique, and provide the practitioner with a basis for additional study. In the Craft Section, we show you how to approach the Source of Thought, set an energized intention, and use charts to keep it all in perspective.
The Tradition Section The Tradition Section is divided into six chapters. The first chapter discusses Dr. Gopala, the founder and inspiration for The Ninth Siddhi. Chapter two is titled the Bhagavad-Gita. In this chapter, we discuss the various revivals of this technique through time as well as define the meaning of Being and Transcendental Awareness. Many important concepts are developed such as the Maharishi The Ninth Siddhi

Effect, “Right Action,” the Maharishi Doctrine, the Super Radiance Effect, and the World Peace Project. These concepts form an important part of the Ninth Siddhi philosophy and are continually returned to in later chapters. The reader may consider spending extra time studying and internalizing this chapter. Many of the terms and concepts are new to Westerners. However, those familiar with the New Christian Gospels found in 1945 may be surprised at the similarities between these gospels and the concepts discussed in this chapter. Chapter three is titled The Kabbalah. In chapter three, we show the technique of experiencing the Source of Thought is alive and well in the mystical tradition of Judaism. We also show how ideas concerning Transcendental Being are revived in the Torah and how that revival affects The Ninth Siddhi. Chapter Four is titled The New Christian Gospels. This chapter is dedicated to Elaine Pagels for translating the New Gospels and publishing her bestselling book The Gnostic Gospels. Without this book, we would not have understood the immense power of the Ninth Siddhi technique. Finally, we get to understand the link between eastern yogic powers and Christian miracles. In this chapter, we find that during the time of Christ, devotees were using meditative techniques similar to the Ninth Siddhi to change their lives from one of great suffering to one of peace, love and bliss. Over and over again, in the early days of Christianity, we see examples of Christ teaching the virtues of Transcendence. In the later sections of the Chapter, we ask the question, “Why were Christians denied this wisdom and knowledge of Transcendental Awareness for the last 1,700 years?” You may be surprised at the answer.

Chapter Five is titled Globalization of Being. In this chapter, we discuss the meaning and consequences of Transcendental/Gnostic revivals in the east, in Judaism and Christianity. In a Lullaby for Mary we discuss the results of an energized intention set close to the Source of Thought and its effect on women for the last 2000 years. We try to show how the revival of Being and The Ninth Siddhi could affect world peace in the long term and implications for war in the short term. In chapter six, The Science of Being, we discuss Transcendental Awareness, Transcendence, and lottery prediction from a scientific point of view. We quickly see that new sciences like Quantum Mechanics are authenticating what a short historical time ago was thought to be a mystical belief.
The Craft Section In the Craft section, we learn how to predict winning lottery numbers using the Ninth Siddhi Technique. Chapter seven is titled The Craft. In this chapter, we discuss the objective of the Craft and the connection between the Divine Proportion number sequence and the Lottery Number Sequence. We learn about our first Mantra called Laxmi’s Mantra and are given an overview of the Craft which includes rankings and worksheets. Chapter eight is titled Becoming an Initiate. In this chapter, we discuss how to use the Mantra sound file. In addition, the Ninth Siddhi Point System is revealed along with how to chart the points. A ten day moving average is introduced to verify improvement in your skill at prediction. Finally, my three number game charts are used as a tool for improvement. In this part of the chapter, I publish

my own chart on how I won a three number game in 32 days. Much can be learned from my story. Chapter nine is titled Becoming a Soldier of Peace. A new Mantra is introduced for four number games and an updated point system and worksheets are discussed. Chapter ten is titled The Mega Games. In the Mega Games chapter, we discuss how to win the five and six number games. In the Ninth Siddhi, groups are organized to win these Mega games. Mary’s Lullaby is analyzed from a group meditation point of view. Individual Rating Worksheets are developed as are Group Worksheets. In addition, for special situations, Matrices are developed and discussed. Following is Chapter One, which details the inspiration for this book and the foundation on which it was developed.

About Dr. Gopala Founder of The Ninth Siddhi
First Meeting I first met Dr. Gopala at a “Spiritual Regeneration Movement” residence course many decades ago. These yoga courses were usually taught over a long weekend and regularly held at Catholic retreat houses around the country. He was a guest lecturer discussing Yogic Siddhis (yogic powers) primarily levitation (sometimes called Yogic Flying) and invisibility now called remote viewing by educators and the military. I attended all his lectures. He was a favorite among the initiates and spoke with a clear passion for his specialty. During that weekend, on a wakeful night, I had a chance to speak with Dr. Gopala. It was not unusual for the attendees to be milling The Ninth Siddhi

around at all hours of the night. The course leaders had us “rounding” (a series of yoga practices involving breathing, stretching and meditation) all day long when not attending a lecture. It seemed like after all the stretching and meditating, we did not need as much sleep as usual. It was just dawn when I sat on an outdoor bench next to Dr. Gopala overlooking a gentle river slowly meandering around the retreat center. It was an odd experience. Coupled with his spiritual presence, the river was teeming with an abundance of life. Mayfly and Caddis were beginning to hatch as trout were beginning their morning feast, their rises more rhythmic than random. I searched for the courage to speak. I was nervous at first, the way students are when speaking to a professor, but he had a calming effect on me. We discussed invisibility since that was the last lecture he had given and the Siddhi I was most interested in at the time. He answered all my questions. He said he was somewhat saddened by the way the West was using the Siddhis, which had for thousands of years been secret and mysterious. In the past, these yogic powers had only been taught to the highest caste of Brahmins. He went on to say that the military was using invisibility, which they renamed remote viewing and were using this Siddhi (yogic power) to spy on the Russians. He was less saddened by the fact they were using a Siddhi to spy and more saddened by the way this yogic technique had been studied, quantified, analyzed and taught. He went on to say, offhandedly, it would be easier to teach students about the predictive potential of the Source of Thought or lottery predictions than many of the ancient yoga Siddhis. Of course, all I heard was lottery predictions.

I asked Dr. Gopala what he meant by lottery predictions trying not to sound overly excited. Just like he had discussed in his lectures, he said, if getting close to the Source of Thought could bring about remote viewing, then with the properly energized intention and the Matra-vrttas (Divine Proportion or Golden Ratio - a sacred number used in one of the categories of meters in Sanskrit and Prakit poetry around A.D. 1100), we should be able to use the predictive potential of the Source of Thought to make reasonable lottery predictions. Actually, he went on to say, lottery predictions should be easier then remote viewing since consciousness didn’t need be maintained near the Source of Thought for long periods time. With a strong, energized and unselfish intention, most people should be able to perform this technique. It seemed we talked for hours that morning. Eventually, Dr. Gopala got up from the bench and headed for the retreat house deep in contemplation. The sun had now risen, choirs of birds now trumpeted a new day and I still had a million more questions. But I don’t think Dr. Gopala had the details of the system worked out yet, that would come years later.
Second Meeting Many years went by but I could never quite get the idea of a new modern Siddhi out of my mind. It made a lot of sense. Using these ancient techniques to predict the future was not out of the question. Considering that Dr. Gopala earned his PhD in physics, he knew a lot about the way the physical world was organized as well as how the mind worked. If anyone could find a system that could relate the predictive ability of the Source of Thought with future events and bring that event to waking state, Dr. Gopala could do it. Again, on another sleepless night just before dawn, Dr. Gopala and I reunited. It was a five-day residence course over the holidays. Although he was staying at the retreat house, he was not lecturing. The Ninth Siddhi

He knew immediately what was on my mind and smiled. I was not shy about asking about the predictive ability of the Source of Thought and how we might go about predicting winning lottery numbers. He confided that although India sponsored a lottery in Punjab in 1968, he did not know a lot about the games. He had never bought a lottery ticket and had no desire to do so. Nonetheless, I could tell that the idea of gaining significant power and wealth through a yogic technique intrigued him. He confided that he had been thinking about the possibility and was keen on sponsoring a new way of thinking about predicting the future. After all, Dr. Gopala had lectured for years on the yogic powers of invisibility and levitation. Dr. Gopala had no interest in ever actually playing the lottery, but the potential for others who were practicing yoga to acquire wealth and power to be used in ways that could manifest a less violent world captivated his interest.
A warning given by Dr. Gopala Before moving on to specifics about the lottery prediction process, he gave me a warning. He said that the Siddhis were like sideshows at a circus. They were distractions along the way to the big top tent where the main attractions take place. He said we should not get so involved with the attainment of any of the Siddhis that we forget to strive for spiritual perfection as opposed to riches. Striving for spiritual perfection gives us the grace and balance to manifest love and forgiveness in our lives and in those around us. He said by concentrating on lottery number predictions, we could become distracted from our spiritual pursuits. On the other hand, if practitioners used the wealth and power for unselfish purposes and for the betterment of the community, it may be possible that the system of lottery prediction could improve our sense of well being as well as the sense of well being in those around us. Certainly, the yogic meditation technique is a healthy technique to perform. Studies have shown these techniques reduce stress, improve The Ninth Siddhi

creativity as well as intelligence, and produce a unique state of restful alertness.
Right Action I believe that the foundation of Dr. Gopala’s interest in the predictive potential of the Source of Thought lies in the yogic concept of “Right Action.” He loved to discuss the many benefits of meditation practice. Besides those noted throughout this book is the concept that as we consistently contact the Source of Thought in our practice, we will eventually carry forward the experience of the Source of Thought into our everyday life. That is, we will experience the Source of Thought in the day time along with our conscious thoughts. This experience will bring our mind and daily actions in sync with creation. Every action we take and every thought we have will be supported by all of life. We will be in harmony with the creative intelligence in the universe; the force in the universe that moves life forward. This idea of living in direct harmony with creation is called “Right Action.” Consequently, a practitioner of Dr. Gopala’s winning lottery system is more likely to use wealth and power gained from these techniques in an unselfish way for the benefit of us all. He related to me that the size of the winnings were so large that all of an individual’s needs could be met with a fraction of the winnings. What is to be done with the other hundreds of millions? How would creation use this wealth for the benefit of human kind?
The Maharishi Effect The idea that practitioners of a meditation technique can have a verifiable effect on society is not new. For example, Dr. John Hagelin – an American physicist, three time candidate of the Natural Law Party for the President of the United States and current leader of the Transcendental Meditation Movement in the United The Ninth Siddhi

States – has presented evidence that groups of meditators can have a measurable effect on society. This phenomenon is called the Maharishi Effect. In the summer of 1993, Dr. Hagelin conducted a large scale study in which 4,000 meditators gathered in the District of Columbia and practiced TM twice daily for eight weeks. During the eight weeks of the study, violent crime (homicides, rapes and assaults) dropped by 23%. Over the last 10 years, the Maharishi Effect has been verified many times in many cities throughout the world. The Maharishi Effect is a result of the “Right Action” attribute of the Source of Thought.
Centers for Developing the Predictive Potential Dr. Gopala, well aware of the Maharishi Effect, hinted that centers for the practice of developing the predictive potential inherent in the Source of Thought should be established. First, the centers would reduce crime in the cities they were established through the Maharishi Effect. Second, proceeds (lottery winnings) could be used to support the centers as well as educate and teach the benefits of contacting the Source of Thought. If enough centers were established around the world, violence in the world would be reduced significantly. I believe this is the reason Dr. Gopala revealed this ancient knowledge to us.

The Bhagavad-Gita History of the Lost Chord Today, the Moody Blues sing the praises of transcendence. We live in a time in which knowledge and experience of Transcendental Being is widespread and growing. We live in a time of revival. But, The Ninth Siddhi

it wasn’t always so. Veda Vyasa, a sage of enlightened vision and greatest among the historians of antiquity, recorded the growth of unrighteousness in the ruling families 5000 years ago. Veda knew that when suffering and unrighteousness grows an invisible force of nature moves to correct man’s vision and establish a way of life which again will fulfill the high purpose of mans existence – (the Maharishi Doctrine). It was in this time of turmoil that Lord Krishna came to remind man of the true value of life and the art of living. He restored direct contact with Transcendental Being, which alone gives fullness and abundance to every aspects of life. That is, he made Transcendental Being a basic reality of life. He taught that the experience of Transcendental Being is the foundation for all thinking and consequently the foundation for action in the world. He taught that only through experience of Transcendental Being can man achieve an integrated and full life. This experience not only helps man gain success in his endeavors but also frees him from suffering – the negative forces of life. Such is the eternal truth given by Lord Krishna to Arjuna in the Bhagavad-Gita. Over the next two thousand years, this teaching faded and was forgotten. The principle idea that Transcendental Being is the Source of Thought, was forgotten. This knowledge and wisdom was overshadowed by misguided beliefs that glorified only the relative aspects of life. “The long lapse of time says Krishna, “is the reason for such a loss of wisdom.” When Lord Krishna’s philosophy of an integrated life was lost, the philosophy was replaced with the idea that everything life can offer is present on the obvious levels of existence. The new philosophy argued that it would be foolish to aspire to anything that might lay deeper than external experience. Society became dominated by this superficial outlook, insight into Transcendental Being was lost, the correct sense of values forgotten, and the stability of life destroyed. The Ninth Siddhi

As a result, tension, stress, and unhappiness manifested themselves, and unfortunately, the greatest destroyer of the integrated life, fear, prevailed. So, three thousand years ago, Lord Buddha came to remedy this situation. He taught meditation to purify the field of thought through direct contact with Transcendental Being. Lord Buddha believed that this contact would bring about a state of “Right Action” in society. Later in this chapter, we will see how Maharishi Mahesh Yogi measures “Right Action” produced by a group of meditators as a force of nature bringing about a reduction of violence to cities and communities around the world. Lord Buddha’s message was complete because, as the Maharishi writes in his translation and commentary on the Bhagavad-Gita, “He incorporated the fields of Transcendental Being, thinking and doing in his spiritual revival.” Unfortunately, Buddha’s followers, like those of Lord Krishna, failed to correlate these different fields of Being in a systematic way through the practice of Transcendental Meditation. The realization that direct experience of Being is the basis of a good life was obscured and lost. According to the Maharishi, the whole structure of Lord Buddha’s teaching not only became distorted but was turned upside down. The effect of contact with Being was mistaken for the cause. “Right Action” came to be regarded as a means to gain Being, whereas “Right Action” is in fact the result of contact with Being. It has been the misfortune of Man that whether the teacher is Krishna, Buddha, or Christ, the teacher speaks from his level of consciousness and the teacher’s followers receive the message on their own level of consciousness and the gulf between teacher and understanding grows wider with time. Consequently, within three or four hundred years all real connection between the essential teaching of Buddha and the daily life of His followers was The Ninth Siddhi

lost. Forgotten was the importance of experiencing Transcendental Being in our daily life, so once again society became immersed in the superficialities of life. Tension, stress, fear, and unrighteousness prevailed. Again, when suffering and unrighteousness grows an invisible force of nature moves to correct man’s vision and establish a way of life which again fulfills the high purpose of our existence. Consequently, 1000 years after Buddha or 2000 years ago in the 8th century, Adi Shankara reestablishes the basis of life on the experience of Transcendental Being. The Maharishi says that Shankara brought the message of fulfillment through direct experience of Transcendental Being, which is the basis of all that is good in life and that his consciousness exemplified the highest state of human development. Shankara not only brought to the world wisdom of the integrated life, lived through direct experience of Transcendental Being. He also established four principal seats of learning in four corners of India to keep his teaching pure and insure that it would be properly propagated in its entirety generation after generation. Such was the greatness of Shankara’s vision. For many centuries his teaching about the value of direct experience of Transcendental Being and an integrated life remained alive and well. But despite all his foresight and endeavors, Shankara’s message inevitably suffered the same misfortune as those of other great teachers. The Maharishi explains that the state of Reality as described by the enlightened man cannot become a path for the seeker, any more than the description of a destination can replace the road that leads to it. When the truth that experience of Transcendental Being forms the basis of an enlightened mind became obscured, Shankara’s descriptions about the nature of the goal were mistaken for the path to realization. And it gets worse, as the truth of Transcendental Being began to disappear from view, teachers came to teach without upholding the principle that it is only through direct contact with Being, that an integrated life can be developed. People followed these teachers and many devotional sects were formed throughout India and the world. The foundation of these sects were grounded in the hope that, “someday our prayer will be heard.” Since these sects operated on the surface level of consciousness - aptly described as mood-making - knowledge of Transcendental Being was lost. Seekers were led astray, and lovers of the Divine remained weeping without finding love or prosperity. Our current time has been fortunate. It has witnessed a living example of a man inspired by eastern wisdom in its wholeness a man able to revive the teaching of the Bhagavad-Gita. In 1965, the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, in his commentary on the Bhagavad-Gita, again brought the message of the integrated life to seekers around the world. He teaches the essence of the Gita - that the unity of life and consciousness cannot be significant until one has thoroughly understood, by direct experience, that one’s inner divine nature is separate from the world of action. That direct experience of Transcendental Being brings about individual fulfillment in life and this can be accomplished through the technique of Transcendental Meditation. In his teachings, the Maharishi revives the understanding that only through direct contact of Transcendental Being can an individual begin to live an integrated lie. In addition to these facts, he describes a meditation technique to attain this experience. In 1958, the Maharishi established the world-wide Spiritual Regeneration Movement in India. Since then the principles of an integrated life have been taught the world over. The current The Ninth Siddhi

movement has over several million participants experiencing Transcendental Being daily. The global organization consists of approximately 1,000 TM centers. Currently, there are many TMcentered communities around the world. Today, millions of people meditate daily experiencing Transcendental Being. In the coming chapters, we will come to understand the consequences of so many people experiencing Transcendental Being in our lifetime. In our attempt to follow the revivals of Transcendental Being through history, we did not mean to leave out of the discussion the Jewish or Christian traditions. So much needs to be said about Being and the Kabbalah/Torah and the revival of Being in the New Christian Gospels, we gave each its own chapter. Never before has direct experience of Transcendental Being been taught to so many from both an eastern perspective and a western perspective. Never before in Man’s history has such an abundance of Transcendental Being flooded the soul of humanity in one lifetime. Later chapters will show the profound consequences of this timely occurrence and its effect on the Ninth Siddhi.
What is Being Before discussing how Transcendental Meditation is used to directly experience Transcendental Being, we need to understand the essential nature of Being itself. According to Maharishi and the New Christian Gospels discussed in a later chapter, Being is Life, It is existence. Meditative experience shows that Being is the source of all thinking, the Source of Thought, and moreover, the source of all existing creation. Being lies outside of relative existence where the experiencer is left awake by itself in full awareness of itself without the experience of an object to perceive. In other words, Being is exclusive of perception. The waking mind reaches the state of pure consciousness or pure awareness. It is the source of all natural law that maintains and pushes creation forward. It is the source of all The Ninth Siddhi

personal power, abundance and wealth. It is the source of power used in the practice of the Ninth Siddhi. For those readers who have not had the experience of Transcendental Being, the above paragraph is extremely difficult to understand to say the least. Think of it like this, say you are at the movie theater and just before the movie starts the bright light of the projector shines through the first few frames of the film. Sometimes the projectionist uses these blank frames to get the film started in the projector. Nonetheless, a very bright light appears on the screen. You are very aware of the bright light and marvel at its brightness. Then the movie starts. Now, the bright light changes to something familiar to ones perceiving mind, into something familiar to the senses. A little bit further into the movie you become emotionally involved and may be brought to tears, sometimes to laughter. Inevitably, you forget about the bright light that is the underlying basis of the sight and sound you are experiencing. As a matter of fact, once the movie starts, no amount of trying will let you view the screen as the bright light. The action in the movie is the way we experience objects of perception. That is, the way we experience the world through sight, sound, touch, smell and taste. But, in addition, the movie caused us to create thoughts and those thoughts created feelings in us. We experienced the movie as we experience life, through our senses, thoughts, and feelings. Being is like the bright light before the movie starts. It is always present, albeit invisible to the senses. Clearly, the bright light like Being supports the action in the movie as Being supports our thoughts and actions. Being is life as the bright light of the projector is the movie. When we say that Being is transcendental to our thoughts and actions we mean that it is beyond our ability to perceive it through our senses or thoughts. But unlike the bright light of the movie theater, we can experience The Ninth Siddhi

Being through meditative practice. The experience of Being, as you might expect, is one of pure awareness. Imagine the bright light of the projector as having the capacity to manifest a movie as Being manifests life. As the bright light on the screen supports all aspects of the movie, Being likewise supports all aspects of life and creation. As the bright light is the foundation for a movie, Being is the foundation of life. When we say Being is outside relative existence, we mean it isn’t an object of perception, thought, or feeling. When we say Being is absolute, we mean like the bright light of the movie projector, it is non-changing. It may manifest a movie, as being manifests life, but it remains unchanged in its essential nature. When we say Being is unbound by time and space, we mean that its nature is non-changing, absolute, and outside the relative sphere of existence. However, Being has energy. As the bright light of the movie screen is reflected back to our eyes as light energy, Being manifests creation and our lives through an energy source called Prana. Prana is the tendency of the field of Being to manifest and create. In the Christian tradition, this energy force is called the Blood of Christ. In China it is called Chi. In later chapters, we will see how this energy source called “Dark Energy” by scientists, is measured and observed. It is called Dark by scientists because it is invisible to our senses. We use this energy source in the Ninth Siddhi to manifest or predict lottery numbers from the lottery number sequence. One of the premises of this book is that as we gain knowledge and begin to experience Transcendental Being, we gain an advantage from that knowledge and grow in our understanding about life. Our life becomes more comprehensive, more powerful, more useful, and expansively more creative in our aspirations. We also increase our ability to perform the various Siddhis.

How to experience Transcendental Being The Bhagavad-Gita, Kabbalah/Torah, and the New Christian Gospels not only postulate that contact with Transcendental Being is necessary for an integrated life but, in addition, all offer a systematic way to have a direct experience of the essential nature of Transcendental Being. In this section we will describe the technique given in the Bhagavad-Gita. In later chapters, we will discuss the techniques offered in the Kabbalah and the New Christian Gospels. We use this technique to get close to the Source of Thought where we set an energized intention to predict a lottery number. We have seen that Being lies outside our senses in the transcendental field of existence. In order to experience this transcendental reality, it is necessary that our attention be led in a systematic and concrete manner through all the levels of the mind to the very Source of Thought. When we arrive at the subtlest level of our mind, we transcend relative experience and experience Transcendental Being or pure awareness. Put another way, we know that our ability to perceive objects are limited by our senses. Clearly, we never experience everything in the gross field of life. For example, we do not see everything that there is to see. We only see a small spectrum of visible light when so much more could be perceived, such as x-rays and infrared light. We do not hear all that could be heard. Many high frequencies heard by animals are not heard by us. And, bloodhounds are notorious for their sense of smell. My point is that even in the gross field of life we do not experience all that we could. We could experience more if our senses were more profound. Thus, our senses only offer us a partial view of Reality. All experience brought to our attention through the senses and all the resulting thoughts and feelings are part of the relative sphere of The Ninth Siddhi

the mind. In order to go beyond the relative field of the mind, we must experience subtler and subtler levels of thought until we transcend the relative sphere of the mind. So, how exactly do we do this? Experience shows that the process of thinking starts at the deepest, most refined level of consciousness and becomes grosser as it develops. Eventually, it becomes gross enough to be perceived on the surface level of the mind. Imagine the mind as an ocean, the surface layers are active with waves, but the deeper layers are silent. A thought starts at the deepest level of consciousness, travels through the whole depth of the ocean of mind, and finally appears as a conscious thought on the surface. We only become aware of thoughts after they have come to the surface. But, there is much thought we are not aware of and these thought fragments are not appreciated. If there was a way to consciously appreciate all the states of the thought prior to the thought reaching the surface level, then this approach would lead us consciously to the subtlest level of thought and to transcendence. In Transcendental Meditation, the mind is trained to experience thought at an earlier and earlier stage of development. When the Source of Thought is reached, we transcend. In this way, the Source of Thought or Transcendental Being is experienced by the conscious mind. That is, when mind transcends the subtlest state of thought, the conscious mind transcends the subtlest state of relative experience and arrives at the state of Transcendental Being, the state of pure awareness. But, what makes the mind choose to go to subtler and subtler states of thought? How do we begin this process? The Maharishi says it is because the nature of Transcendental Being is Bliss Consciousness, and the mind will gravitate to that which is most attractive: love and peace. The mind is charmed by Bliss and led to the experience The Ninth Siddhi

of Transcendental Being. However, some thoughts are more conducive to moving the mind towards Bliss. So the teachers of Transcendental Meditation provide the meditator with a proper thought, sound, or Mantra that helps the mind move toward transcendence. According to the Maharishi, “A proper thought [sound or Mantra] means a thought whose nature is harmonious and useful to the thinker and his surroundings. Every thought as every spoken word has some influence on the thinker and his surroundings. Just as a stone thrown into a pond produces waves that reach all the extremities of the pond, any thought, word or action produces waves in the atmosphere and these waves travel in all directions and strike against everything in the atmosphere. They produce some influence in every level of creation. The whole universe is influenced by every thought, word and action of every individual.” When such a wide range of influence of the thought [sound or Mantra] exists, one needs to be very particular about the quality of thought [Mantra] one creates in his mind in order to experience Transcendental Being. So, for the sake of facilitating the finding of the proper Mantra for each individual, the Maharishi trained certain individuals as teachers in the art of selecting a proper thought, sound, or Mantra to correspond to the special qualities of the individual. These trained teachers of meditation are found in almost every country and in thousands of centers of the Spiritual Regeneration Movement around the world. The Maharishi continues his dialog in The Science of Being and the Art of Living explaining, “By necessity, the practice of Transcendental Meditation is verbal; it is imparted by personal instruction. It cannot be imparted through a book because it not only involves telling an aspirant how to experience the subtle states of thinking, The Ninth Siddhi

but an even greater responsibility lies in finding out what the aspirant experiences when he proceeds on that path” So, we experience Transcendental Being by practicing Transcendental Meditation. In this technique, a Mantra is used to experience subtler and subtler thoughts until the most subtle state of thought is transcended and pure awareness is experienced. The mind is drawn to Transcendental Being because its very nature is bliss, love, and peace. The Mantra is used to facilitate the natural movement of mind towards bliss. However, each individual needs a Mantra unique to him/her. This necessity means that the technique must be taught verbally by an instructor trained in selecting a proper Mantra for the seeker.
Seven States of Consciousness The experience of Transcendental Being as pure awareness during meditation is a small first step on the path toward a fully integrated life. In Chapter two of the Bhagavad-Gita, pure awareness as the fourth state of consciousness is described. The first three states of consciousness are waking state, dream state, and deep sleep. Pure awareness is said to be a small step because it is the basis for more advanced states of consciousness. By repeatedly experiencing pure awareness twice a day for some time, the seeker begins to experience pure awareness not only during meditation but also simultaneously with waking state, dream state, and deep sleep. Once a seeker maintains pure awareness and activity at the same time he/she is said to be living in a duality or a fifth state of consciousness called Cosmic Consciousness. Think of it like this. When a person wishes to color cloth she dips the cloth into dye. When the cloth is removed from the dye it is The Ninth Siddhi

hung in the sun to set. But, the sun and wind fade the color. So, the next day the process is repeated until the color is maintained in its brilliance and does not fade when brought into the light of day. The same is true of pure awareness. The meditator dips herself into Transcendental Being and experiences pure Awareness. When she completes her meditation, the experience of Being fades a bit when brought into activity. However, with a twice a day practice more and more Being is maintained and eventually she is able to maintain pure awareness while also involved in activity. In this way she lives a life full of Being in the state of Cosmic Consciousness. A life lived in the state of Cosmic Consciousness is said to be a life lived in a state of duality, because both the ego and Being are experienced simultaneously. A strong loving and forgiving ego maintains its identity and Being is experienced as a silent witness. Through devotion and practice this duality dissolves into a sixth state of consciousness known as Divine Consciousness. It is described in the Bhagavad-Gita as a state where all personal experience is divinely inspired. Finally, in Unity Consciousness the seventh state of consciousness, man is truly inspired by the will of Being as the world at large, all of creation, is experienced as divinely inspired. To practice the Ninth Siddhi, we do not need to advance to the greatness of the advanced states of consciousness. We do not even need to experience Being as pure awareness to develop predictive ability. But it is necessary to understand the greatness of the teaching, the fullness of the heritage, and the affinity for divinity that this practice entails.
The Physiology of Consciousness As the technique to experience Being exploded into our field of awareness across the globe, scientists were quick to pick up on the The Ninth Siddhi

phenomena and test the claims. They wondered if these subjective experiences could be verified in the laboratory. Could transcendence be quantified? Could higher states of consciousness be verified by science? Scientists tested meditators to see if there was a link between changes in the body and transcendence. The scientific literature that has been created on this topic is too numerous to mention in this short book. In my opinion, one of the most renowned researchers is Dr. Robert Keith Wallace. He wrote The Physiology of Consciousness. In his book, Dr. Wallace list hundreds of studies supporting the idea that changes occur in the body and mind when one experiences Transcendental Being on a regular basis. One interesting study found that there are different physiological patterns of transcending for different individuals. For example, one study looked at the frequency of breath suspension in Transcendental Meditation. Almost all meditators report this happening when one gets close to transcendence or is experiencing Transcendental Being. It seems there is a slowing or cessation of breathing for a short period of time. Objective measurements of this experience do in fact show respiratory suspension for as much as one minute in about one-third of the subjects, according to Dr. Wallace. When these subjects are compared to those just resting with their eyes closed, no such cessation is found. Further, when the meditators are asked to press a button after having transcended, an extremely large percentage of the buttons are pressed just after breath suspension. So, for these subjects, periods of breath suspension can, in fact, be used as reliable physiological markers for the experience of Transcendental Being. These types of studies show that transcendence causes both decreased sensitivity to increased levels of carbon dioxide and an increased sensitivity to low levels of oxygen. This suggests that a refined pattern of brain functioning specific to specific areas of the brain occurs during The Ninth Siddhi

meditation. Dr. Wallace also suggests that the machinery and patterns of transcending are part of our genetic endowment of the human nervous system. Whether or not we use it, transcending is an inherent ability. Of course, any discussion of the physiology of transcendence would not be complete without discussing EEG studies. When I was doing research for this book, I looked at a plethora of studies discussing the affect that Transcendental Meditation has on the brain. It seems as if, over the last 40 years, hundreds if not thousands of experiments have been completed measuring patterns of brain wave activity of meditating subjects. In the studies performed by Dr. Robert Keith Wallace, he found that the Transcendental Meditation technique demonstrated increased activity of two types of EEG wave patterns: alpha waves, which have a frequency of about 8 -10 cycles per second, and theta waves, at around 5-7 cycles per second. The result of all these EEG studies over the last 40 years, have documented the emergence of four distinct EEG patterns during Transcendental Meditation. First, an increase in theta waves in the frontal areas of the brain. Second, the studies show an increase in slow alpha waves also in the frontal area. Third, Dr. Wallace documented an increase in frontal theta and slow alpha waves, and lastly, an increase in beta wave activity. Dr. Wallace and others suggest that these patterns are indicative of stages of transcending. To scientists these findings are momentous because they give a scientific basis for transcendence and the experience of Transcendental Being. More recently, one of the most important and useful developments in EEG research on Transcendental Meditation has come through the application of a new measurement, EEG coherence. According to Dr. Wallace, EEG coherence measures the orderliness of the The Ninth Siddhi

electrical activity of the brain and helps answer the question, “Is the activity of one area of the brain correlated with the activity of another?” These recent studies clearly show an increase in alpha coherence during Transcendental Meditation as well as theta and beta frequencies. More importantly, in long term meditators, continuously strong coherence was found in all frequencies both during meditation as well as when the meditator was involved in activity. This finding gives credence to the idea that repeated experiences of Transcendental Being brings about advanced states of consciousness. Remember the dye metaphor about dipping a cloth in dye repeatedly to set the color in the previous section on advanced states of consciousness. This research finds that brain wave coherence is found even after the meditator has stopped meditating. This is scientific proof that over time the brain maintains the experience of Transcendental Being after mediating. A little Transcendental Being is brought into our life and stays with us. If Transcendental Being is maintained during activity this is called Cosmic Consciousness, an advanced state of consciousness. Maintaining brain wave coherence even after we stop meditating is an indication that the nervous system is changing, moving toward an integrated and full life. These results form a principle for the practice of the Ninth Siddhi. That is, the more we practice the Ninth Siddhi, the more power and energy we bring to the task of predicting/manifesting a winning number. In addition, scientists have recently discovered that continued brave wave coherence has a chemical effect on the body. In The Physiology of Consciousness, Dr. Wallace and others found that during and after meditation the stress hormone, cortisol, decreases. They also reported an increased level of the amino acid, phenylalanine, which suggests changes in key brain neurotransmitters. They also investigated a pituitary hormone ADH. This hormone is associated with improved memory. All meditators were found to have The Ninth Siddhi

unusually high levels of this hormone substantiating other findings that the experience of Transcendental Being improves memory and recall. Today the search for the biomedical basis of transcendence continues. It is part of an attempt by scientists to uncover the biochemical basis of higher states of consciousness. I believe that the greatest value in this research is that it will establish a bridge between the physiology of consciousness and the current world view held by scientists. Already, transcendence, which powers the practice of the Ninth Siddhi, is not a subjective claim by mystics but a verifiable scientific fact.
The Maharishi Effect Physical effects of continuous contact with Transcendental Being are well established in the scientific community. Could these effects, particularly brain wave coherence, have an effect on others? For many years, those close to the Maharishi stated that he believed that when a critical group of meditators meditated together they stimulated Transcendent Being, the underlying field of pure consciousness and created a field effect of coherence. And, that this field effect had a marked influence not only on the group of meditators but in the localized society. This influence on society has come to be known as the Maharishi Effect. And, more importantly, this field effect could be measured through various social indices that characterize the quality of life in society, such as the reduction of violent crime in a city. The Maharishi explained this phenomenon in these words, “The field of pure consciousness is a non-localized field of infinite correlation. Thus, an impulse anywhere is an impulse everywhere. Since the collective consciousness is shared by all, one individual transcending the surface level of excitation to this universal level of The Ninth Siddhi

natural law can generate an influence of coherence and orderliness in the whole society and the environment.” According to Robert Oates in The Maharishi Effect, written in 1985, and Dr. Keith Wallace writing in The Neurophysiology of Enlightenment, the first experimental evidence for this phenomenon arose in 1974. In this study, scientists observed 11 cities in the United States with populations over 10,000 in which 1% of the population was practicing Transcendental Meditation. They then looked at one major index of the quality of life in these cities, the crime rate, and compared it to the crime rate of 11 other cites matched by population and geographic location. From 1967 to 1972 the crime rate was increasing in all the cities. The cities with over 1% Transcendental Meditation participation showed a decrease in crime of 8.2% from 1972 to 1973 as compared to the year before. Other scientist replicated these findings. In one study scientists examined 160 cities over a 14 year period (1964 to 1978) to determine the long term effects on crime rate in “one-percent cities.” This study and many others verified the reduction of violent crimes when 1% of a city’s population experienced Transcendental Being regularly. One particularly compelling study on the Maharishi Effect occurred in Lebanon in a small village named Baskninta. The Transcendental Meditation technique was taught to over 1% of the population in this village which had seen armed conflict for many years. In abrupt contrast to previous history, there was a complete cessation of hostility in Baskninta once 1% of the population began practicing Transcendental Meditation. The increase in love and harmony was measured by a decrease in the number of incoming artillery shells, property damage, and human casualties. See Roberts Oates Book

titled The Maharishi Effect for details on many more studies and real world examples of the Maharishi Effect in action. But, why should this field effect occur. What is it about the experience of Transcendental Being that produces these startling but wonderful results? Many scientists believe that when we meditate, a field much like electromagnetic radiation is produced. But unlike electromagnetic radiation this field is developed with a force that is more refined, more akin to light than magnetism. That is, when an individual experiences Transcendental Being, a kind of halo effect is generated. The rationale for this prediction came from discussions with leading physicists concerning coherent effects seen in physical systems, particularly the laser. Normal light is emitted in direct proportion to the number of atoms in the light source. When the atoms in a laser are in perfect coherence with each other, a new type of collective behavior emerges characterized by intense orderliness. The individual atoms cease to act independently and begin to behave as one complete coherent system. As a result, the light emitted by the laser is significantly stronger than normal light. It is through coherence that the individual atoms receive their power. The power of light coherence is tremendous. It is powerful enough to burn through steel or to shine a laser beam on the moon. Scientists have found that the intensity of light emitted by a laser of X atoms is magnified enormously to X². If 100 atoms are perfectly in phase or coherent, they will radiate with the intensity of 100² or 10,000 times that of a single atom. This phenomenon is physics is known as Super Radiance. Similarly, it is thought that when groups of meditators meditate and experience Transcendental Being a super radiance effect is generated. This field of super radiance is significantly more powerful than that experienced by an individual meditator. This The Ninth Siddhi

super radiance quality of Transcendental Being can be felt by society at large if the number of meditators is large enough. Consequently, scientists began to do research in this area. The focus of the research was to see if the field effect of consciousness stimulated by a group of meditators could affect the EEG coherence between subjects at a large distance. Indeed, the study showed this to be the case. Many other studies too have followed and confirmed the idea that Transcendental Being has a halo or Super Radiance Effect. This is an important discovery because it offers a basis for all the Siddhis. When we begin to discuss the importance of Transcendental Being to the Ninth Siddhi, we will use many of these field effect ideas to confirm our natural ability to predict/manifest future events such as a lottery number.
The World Peace Project If at least 1% of a city’s population is meditating and experiencing Transcendental Being daily reducing violence in the city, how many meditators would it take to bring about a reduction of violence in the world? In other words, is world peace possible through the super radiance effect generated through Transcendental Meditation? The Maharishi believes that it is possible. In July 1986, the Maharishi unveiled his program to create world peace, which includes a strong initiative to create large groups of meditators on every continent and in every nation. It is believed by the Maharishi and scientists that if a large enough group of meditators could be taught to meditate, peace could be brought to the world through the Global Maharishi Effect. The Maharishi set fourth his criteria for world peace; “(1) friendship between the super powers, (2) a cease fire in the Iran-Iraq war, (3) improved international relations, and (4) an end to terrorism.” To date much The Ninth Siddhi

progress has been made toward these goals but more meditators need to be taught in different parts of the world to create lasting world peace. By practicing the Ninth Siddhi, we hope to play a part in this global effort. In the Maharishi’s effort to create world peace, The Spiritual Regeneration Movement tried to maintain thousands of meditators around the world in hotels for extended periods of time. Sometimes meditators stayed on one location for as long as four months, in groups ranging from 30 to 400. Eventually, financing became an issue. Dr. Wallace reported, “…the financial burden of continuing this project became a burden. The various groups in Iran, Rhodesia, Nicaragua, and other countries were forced to pull out.” The practice of the Ninth Siddhi will bring an integrated life as well as an abundance of wealth and prosperity to its practitioners. This wealth and abundance must be used in part to fund world peace. This will occur through the concept of “right action.” As a matter of fact, one of the reasons for the development of a new Siddhi by Dr. Gopala was for the establishment of meditation centers around the world. Through the Global Maharishi Effect, global peace will be manifested.
The Ninth Siddhi As said earlier, the Sanskrit term Siddhi means “power or perfection.” Each Siddhi technique is a method to develop optimal functioning (power) in some specific function of the mind. Originally, these yogic powers were described and taught by the great sage Patanjali, in Vedic literature called the Yog Sutras. In this The Ninth Siddhi

ancient literature, he described eight great Siddhis. A few of the better known of these eight Siddhis are levitation, teleportation, realizing whatever one desires, and invisibility now called remote viewing. In the tradition of great teachers of meditation techniques that focus on the experience of Transcendental Being, the Maharishi established his TM-Sidhi™ program focusing primary on levitation or Yogic Flying in 1976. As we shall see in the next sections, the Siddhis are perennial spiritual powers discussed in the Jewish text of the Kabbalah as well as the New Gospels of Christianity. However, the Judeo-Christian tradition seems to have an affinity for the Siddhi powers of healing and prophesy, in addition to the traditional eastern Siddhis. In all the traditions of the east and west, they have the same basis in Transcendental Being or pure consciousness. In other words, they all work in the same manner. The Maharishi has written that, “The TM-Sidhi™ program uses specific techniques that enliven and activate transcendental consciousness and develop the habit of projecting thought and action from this simplest state of human awareness.” I believe that what the Maharishi is saying is that the underlying field of consciousness or transcendental consciousness can be stimulated in specific ways with observable effects such as levitation, healing, and prophecy. In all cases, power to manifest any of these Siddhis is made possible by an energized intention at the very point of transcendence. The Maharishi says it beautifully, “here at the junction point of transcendence the performance of [intention] can elicit the total organizing power of the Unified Field [transcendental consciousness] to promote the desired effect in the world of activity.” The literature points to the ability of specific Mantras to elicit specific energy qualities from Transcendental Being. It’s as if the repetition of a Mantra causes a small ripple in the Unified Field of The Ninth Siddhi

transcendental awareness. This ripple causes changes in the relative world of activity through the energy properties discussed above, the so called halo effect. This energy source can be used to change your life in a positive and productive way by manifesting wealth, prosperity, and a winning lottery number. The Ninth Siddhi is a specialized Siddhi in the tradition of Prophecy. It uses the power of the Unified Field to predict [manifest] a group of numbers which will lead to wealth, abundance, and world peace.

The Kabbalah The Mystical Kabbalah The Kabbalah is a collection of Jewish scripture dating back more than 4,000 years, concerned with a whole range of Jewish mystical activity. One of the main books mentioned in Jewish literature as a source for mystical endeavors is the Zohar, but others are also mentioned such as Sefer Yetzirah, Bahir, HaMalakh among others. According to Rabbi David Cooper writing in Kabbalah and the practice of mystical Judaism, the central core of this mystical scripture is that, “… true wisdom does not come from outside of us, but from within. And, it does not come from within simply because we want it. It comes when we live in a way that invites wisdom. It comes from direct experience.” He goes on to say that in the school of Ecstatic Kabbalah, “through the use of meditative techniques, the student enters into a state of altered consciousness and receives insight from the Unknown and Unknowable [Transcendental The Ninth Siddhi

Being].” We believe that Rabbi Cooper is describing direct experience of Transcendental Being through meditation, which allows for higher states of consciousness. And, that this practice produces the precise field effects seen in Transcendental Meditation, such as the Maharishi Effect. In this chapter, we try to show that the Jewish mystical tradition has fostered techniques to experience Transcendental Being. And, when combined with eastern meditation techniques, the Kabbalah validates the techniques for the practitioners of the Ninth Siddhi. Perhaps more importantly, in the Jewish tradition, we see Being flower and bloom in the Torah validating the existence of Transcendental Being as the true Source of Thought. Finally, seekers of truth find what they have sought. In the 1960s, Rabbi Aryeh Kaplan published Meditation and Kabbalah. The book is a vivid account of the teachings of Abulafia – founder of the school of Prophetic Kabbalah. Rabbi Kaplan demonstrates that the meditative practices that were attracting many Jews to the Maharishi’s Transcendental Meditation program are present in Jewish scripture. For example, one of Abulafia’s simplest practices, popularized by Rabbi Kaplan, was a meditative technique that used the repetition of Hebrew vowels encouraging transcendence and the experience of Transcendental Being. He says, “When you practice, you will want to sit comfortably in a place where you will not be disturbed and allow the eyes to close. One begins with the first letter of the Divine name.” He goes on to describe breathing techniques and other words with sacred sounds that are used as Mantras to encourage transcendence. Some think it remarkable that the same techniques for establishing contact with Being is the same in the Jewish tradition as the eastern tradition. I do not. The techniques for this divine experience are perennial to all traditions, to all scripture, and as we shall see, even described in the New Christian Gospels discussed in the next chapter.

The Jewish Encyclopedia reports that Abulafia was one of the earliest Kabbalists. When he was eighteen years old, his father died and two years later Abulafia began a life of ceaseless wandering. One of his first journeys was to Palestine, but he never arrived due to the unrighteousness brought about by the Crusades. He traveled throughout the Holy Lands, Spain, Italy, and Greece. In obedience to an inner voice, he went to Rome to convert Pope Nicholas III. According to scripture, the Pope heard of his approach and issued orders to “burn the fanatic” before he reached the gates to the city. A stake was erected close to the gate for this purpose. Fortunately for Abulafia, the Pope succumbed to a stroke the night before his arrival. In the turmoil of the Pope’s death, he was captured and thrown into prison. He was released after a four week detention. Next, he headed for Sicily, where scripture reports, he was received as a prophet and Messiah. However, this claim was laid to rest in a letter to the people of Palermo, energetically condemning Abulafia’s conduct. Others were more compassionate and wrote that Abulafia “stove with all his power to guide men’s mind aright in a trying time of spiritual confusion.” Finally he picked up the pilgrim’s staff and settled on the small island of Comino, near Malta. Here, he wrote his best books describing techniques to experience Transcendental Being. After writing these profound texts, all traces of him were lost. Abulafia revived meditative techniques that brought about the direct experience of Transcendental Being, just as Krishna, Buddha, Sankara, and the Maharishi had done. Of course, the orthodox Jewish tradition had moved on and forgotten about these teachings until revived by Rabbi Kaplan in his book Meditation and Kabbalah. It’s true that the war torn 1960s and the transcendental movement started by the Maharishi kick started interest in transcendence in the Jewish community. But, nothing prepared the Jewish community The Ninth Siddhi

for the technological revelation found in the Torah. If millions of people were experiencing Transcendental Being before this revelation, many more would rethink their position on the mystical and begin earnestly meditating after a secret code was found in the Torah. Because the Jewish community could feel comfortable meditating and experiencing Transcendental Being within their tradition, inspired by new technological revelations in the Torah, millions of Jews began to contact Being regularly. For the first time in human history, we had followers of the Kabbalah and the Torah experiencing Transcendental Being alongside the followers of the Bhagavad-Gita and the Upanishads. When this profound abundance of Being entering the lives of so many is combined with the historically recent developments in Christianity – as we will see in the next chapter - profound changes in the world are sure to follow. We also believe that this abundance of Transcendental Being entering the hearts and minds of so many make the Ninth Siddhi a reasonable next step in the spiritual development of Seekers around the world.
The Torah The Torah is the primary Holy Scripture in Judaism. The Torah is the name given by Jews for the first five books of the Bible: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. According to Jewish tradition, the entire Torah was dictated to Moses by God, letter for letter, on Mt. Sinai around 1300 BCE. Since the time of Moses, Kabbalists have held that God instructed the Jews to copy the Torah exactly as given to Moses, letter for letter. Although they did not understand the reason for this precision, they committed to following this Divine instruction over thousands of years and to this day even the smallest mark such as a serif, or decorative marking, or repeated word are copied exactly. The Jews did not know the reason for this Divine instruction but some had an intuitive belief that a far greater message must extend beyond the mere words of The Ninth Siddhi

the Torah. Some believed that in the exact sequence of letters, there is somehow encrypted information that only a divine hand could have placed there. Since the time of Moses, there were hints that there was more to the Torah than meets the eye. For example, in the eighteenth-century, a rabbi and sage named Elijah Solomon was one of the greatest leaders and thinkers of his time. As a child prodigy, he memorized the entire Torah word for word. He was also accomplished in mathematics. In addition, he was an orthodox rationalist and was very hostile to the type of unrestrained mystical enthusiasm sometimes seen in parts of the Kabbalah. Still, in one of his brilliant books, he made the following claim: “All that is, and will be unto the end of time is included in the Torah, the first five books of the Bible.” This claim was completely out of touch with Elijah’s past writings and did not fit well with his orthodox thinking. Nonetheless, Elijah continued to make it perfectly clear that he meant it literally. He wrote, “…and not merely in a general sense, but including the details of every person individually, and the minutest details of everything that happened to him from the day of his birth until his death…” These claims were taken seriously by Elijah’s peers, but they did not go unchallenged. One day a scholar who had heard of Elijah’s claims sought an audience with him intending to put him to the test. He asked, “If, as you say, the details of everyone’s lives are encoded in the Torah, then show me where I can find Rabbi Moses ben Maimon.” Rabbi Moses ben Maimon had been a 12th century astronomer, mathematician, philosopher, and physician. Both knew that two phrases are always linked to his name and only his name in Jewish lore: “From Moses to Moses there is no one like Moses” and “the wonder of the generation.” Immediately Elijah had the scholar turn to Exodus 11:9. were spaced evenly apart, sometimes up and down, sometimes on a diagonal, until the words Moses, wanders, Egypt, in biblical Egypt, and in medieval Egypt became apparent. Similar accounts of sages being able to find encoded information in the writing of the Torah can be found throughout Jewish scripture. For example, one day Nachmanides, another prominent sage, made a claim that all of Israel’s history could be found in the passages of the Torah. One of his students thought the claim to be incredulous and demanded that Nachmanides withdraw his extravagant assertion. Nachmanides asked the student to test him. The student retorted, “Very well, where is my own fate spoken of in the Torah.” The sage gave directions to go to Deuteronomy chapter 32, verse 26, and look at the third letter of each word. A chill entered the soul of the student when he read his own name encoded in the third letter of each word in the verse. It is written that this student became a devotee to Nachmanides, as well as a scholar of the Torah. In the early years of the twentieth century, Rabbi Weissmandl – a child prodigy in the Torah and mathematics – began his own investigation into the phenomenon. He became convinced that there was indeed a hidden code in the first five books of the Bible. He maintained a lifelong interest in this phenomenon, writing out the entire 304,805 letter sequence of the Torah on 10 by 10 grids. In this way, words that occur at equally spaced intervals would stand out. His work was interrupted, however, by World War II. Nazism tore him away from his lifelong studies. During these dreadful years of the swelling Holocaust, his primary interest changed from codes in the Torah to saving as many Jews as possible from the gas chambers of Auschwitz-Birkenau. Later in life, he wrote that he believed that if the Nazis had their way, the Torah and all its secrets would be lost forever along with the Jewish people themselves. Mostly, he The Ninth Siddhi

fought disbelief in his fellow Jews. Who could imagine chambers disguised as showers into which were herded cultured citizens, woman, and little children, all naked, all noncombatants, killed in agony by cyanide gas. I cannot imagine the agony, the sense of loss, the desperation when his own wife and five children were sent to Auschwitz in a railroad cattle car. Especially knowing that immediately upon arrival at the camp, the men would be separated from the women and children; that they would be kept alive only to be worked to death or to be tortured to death by Josef Mengele – the Angel of Death. Such was the suffering of the Jews by the violent and maniacal, the wicked and unrighteous. Soon however, an invisible force of nature would be made known to the Jews. Transcendental Being would communicate directly through the Torah to inspire the Jews to a new vision and reestablish lives that fulfill man’s purpose. The early work on the Torah that Rabbi Weissmandl accomplished set into motion a process that would eventually bring encoded information found in the Torah fully into the light of modern day. It was truly through divine inspiration, through Transcendental Being, that the fascination in antiquity with Torah codes and other ancient ciphers in the Jewish community helped win the war for the allies and defeat the unrighteous. Throughout Jewish history this interest in Ciphers is evident. Jeffrey Satinover, M.D., in Cracking the Bible Code writes, “The earliest explicit use of a second layer of meaning (known in cryptology as “plaintext”) deliberately embedded in a text that reads properly on the surface (called “cipher text”) seems to have been by the ancient Israelites. An excellent example of ancient crypto logic sophistication and its intimate connection to Kabbalah, is the work of Nechunya, a sage living in the first century AD. tested revelations. Throughout the next two thousand years, Kabbalists published treatises outlining advanced ciphers based on new theories of statistics and mathematics. Finally, in 1934, Jewish poles quietly broke the vaunted, supposedly indecipherable German “Enigma” encryption code. With this information the British and the Americans were able to crack every update and improvement to it, however advanced, without the Nazis ever suspecting. So, this fascination with ciphers caused in no small part by the suspected code in the Torah, brought about the beginning of the end of the Third Reich. In this way, Transcendental Being moves to correct man’s vision and establish a way of life that again will fulfill his high purpose.
Abstract for God In 1994, Eliyahu Rips (Eli) submitted a paper to the prestigious journal Statistical Science, titled Equidistant Letter Sequences in the Book of Genesis. The abstract for the paper read, “It has been noted that when the book of Genesis is written as two dimensional arrays, equidistant letter sequences spelling words with related meanings often appear in close proximity. Quantitative tools for measuring this phenomenon are developed. Randomization analysis shows that the effect is significant at the level of 0.00002.” The spirit of the Torah was about to be revealed. Scientists using computer programs on the letters of the Torah were discovering some absolutely unbelievable coding in the first five books of the Bible. Nothing like this had ever been found before in the history of mankind. The fact that it took computer technology to find it only makes the findings that much more remarkable. On September 1, 1994, Michael Drosnin author of The Bible Codes flew to Israel to meet with Yitzhak Rabin, then prime minister. He carried with him a letter to be given to Yitzhak Rabin. said in part that, “An Israeli mathematician has discovered hidden codes in the Bible that appear to reveal events that took place thousands of years after the Bible was written. The reason I am writing you about this is the only time your full name appears encoded in the Bible, the words assassin that will assassinate crosses your name.” Mr. Drosnin went on to write, “This should not be ignored because the assassinations of Anwar Sadat and both John and Robert Kennedy are also encoded in the Bible.” In November, 1995 Yitzhak Rabin was shot in the back by a man who believed he was on a mission from God. This murder was encoded in the Bible three thousand years ago. Many other examples of prophetic information have been found. Six months before the 1992 election, the code revealed Bill Clinton’s victory. Connected to “Clinton” was the title “president.” Richard Nixon also gets mentioned in the Torah. In one of the greatest upheavals in the American politics the word “Watergate” appears with “Nixon” and the year “1974” the year he was forced to resign. The great depression is encoded with the crash of the stock market. “Economic collapse” and “depression” appear together in the Torah with the word “stock” and the year it all started, “1929. “ Eerily, “man on moon” appears with “spaceship” and “Apollo 11.” Armstrong’s words “One small step for a man, one giant step for mankind” are echoed in the hidden text of the Torah. Where the date Armstrong sets foot on the moon crosses the word “moon,” the words “Done by mankind, done by a man” are clearly visible. America’s entry into World War II when the Japanese unexpectedly struck Pearl Harbor is also vividly told in the hidden code of the Torah. Encoded with “Roosevelt” is his title “President” as well as his December 7, 1941, declaration of war: the Code clearly states, “He gave the order to strike on the day of the great defeat.” In The Ninth Siddhi

addition, “Pearl Harbor” is encoded with the words “destruction of the fortress“ running across it. The Hawaiian naval base at Pearl Harbor is identified as the location of “the fleet.” It appears with “World War,” “December 7th,” and “Hiroshima.” Also, where “Hiroshima” is spelled out, the date “1945” is found, the same date that the atomic bomb was dropped by the Americans. The impact of the first atomic bomb is described in the hidden text as “Hiroshima to end shooting whole world.” This is found at a spot in Genesis where the actual text reads, “And it repented the Lord that he had made man upon the earth and it grieved him at his heart.” Lincoln is encoded twice in Genesis and Deuteronomy. Gandhi is encoded in the Book of Exodus. I dare say my own name is in one of the first five books of the Bible, and perhaps yours is too. These findings were published in books and journals all around the world, while both skeptics and seekers, wondered if it was truly information from a transcendental source. The Bible codes needed to be proved by the secular world of scientists, statisticians, and mathematicians. They needed to show beyond any doubt that this phenomenon was not possible by mere chance. So, Eliyahu Rips set about designing a statistical model that would prove that the technique used in the Bible codes of Equidistant Letter Sequences, when combined with related words in close proximity, was not just random fortuitous combinations. Eli Rips, Doron Witztum, and Yoav Rosenberg published their paper in Statistical Science, a prestigious peer reviewed mathematical journal – the abstract of which begins this chapter. Their work set out to prove that the hidden information in the Torah was not a matter of chance. The only rationale explanation of The Ninth Siddhi

this scientific result is that the Torah must be from a transcendental source. That the paper was reviewed by the most influential scientists in the world, standing up to scrutiny by the world’s best scientists, is tribute to the statistical techniques used by Eli Rips. You see, in the past, we only had the subjective experience of the Source of Thought or Transcendental Being. Not all people sought out the experience. This is the first time in recorded history that the scientific world view has considered the basis of our thinking, the very the nature of our mind, transcendental to activity. Today, the scientific world looks to this transcendental reality and calls it the Unified Field justifying its existence through a new area of science called quantum mechanics.
War in the Gulf In 1991 at the height of the Gulf War, work on the codes was at an all time high. But many wondered if these codes could be used to predict specific future events. Up until this time, codes emerged only when you found Equal Letter Spacing (ELS) for two or more related facts that you decided to look for with a date. If you looked for a future event at some minimum ELS skip interval, you may very well find it. But what then? You could find innumerable arbitrary selected dates in reasonable close proximity to any ELS. It is the fact that one and only one actual date appears surprisingly close to the event that constitutes success with the Torah Codes. This question of predicting specific dates and events in the future became very important to the Israelis during the Gulf War. Although the Gulf War was precipitated by Saddam Hussein’s attempt to conquer Kuwait, Israel was the ultimate target. Shifts in international alliances had placed Israel in a vulnerable situation. The military advantage of the Israelis, lie in the element of surprise. The Ninth Siddhi

As in 1967, the size of its enemy’s armies created a situation when the only way it could win a military advantage was to strike preemptively. But, this was impossible at the time, if Israel wanted to preserve its alliance with the Americans and the allies. As I remember from newscasts during this time, Israel was not only asked not to attack first but not to defend herself if attacked. I always thought that this was an unreasonable request beyond the boundaries of friendship. Nonetheless, the Israelis capitulated. Saddam had amassed a number of scud missiles on the border. Many thought that these scuds contained biological agents. At the time, Saddam had a huge biological weapons program established, and he had used them before in the Iran war. At the time, it was believed that he did not have nuclear capabilities. Consequently, all of Israel’s civil defense efforts were directed toward chemical agents. Now, gas masks are available to prevent against injury and death when attacked with biological weapons, the sort the Israelis were facing. So, all the men, woman, and children in the country were issued a gas masks in preparation for the attack. There was but one problem. The distances involved were roughly 400 miles. There was not enough time to warn the entire population to put on the gas mask and protect themselves. Wearing a gas mask 24 hours a day was impossible too. It looked like the threat of attack could undermine the economy and destroy the state without a shot being fired. This unique set of circumstances created a need for one specific piece of information, on which day would the first missile be launched? The Israeli intelligence service looked to the Torah and Transcendental Being for answers. They searched for words that were related to the events in the gulf. If a specific date did not surface, maybe similar less restrictive dates would. The Israeli The Ninth Siddhi

intelligence officers already had such similar dates. Perhaps, they would match. Accordingly, the intelligence officers inputted three likely dates, and the words related to the events in the gulf. When the analysis was completed, all three of these dates were present in the Torah codes. One of these dates turned out to be actual date of the attack. Such is the eternal truth given to Moses in the Torah.
Armageddon Throughout all of history, Jerusalem has been the most fought over city. Conflict arose from the time King David conquered it and the Babylonians burned it, till even when the Romans destroyed it and the Crusaders besieged it. This 3,000 year old conflict did not end when the Israelis took back control in 1967. Conflict continues in Jerusalem to this day. It comes as no surprise that the only capital in the entire world encoded in the Bible with the words “atomic holocaust,” and “World War” is Jerusalem. The Biblical prophecy of Armageddon seems to be confirmed in the hidden text of the Torah. Jerusalem, the center of the world’s three major religions, where David ruled, Jesus died, and Mohammed ascended to Heaven, might be obliterated in a final battle brought on by religious hatred. We cannot ignore the facts. Transcendental Being bestowed this information to Moses letter by letter. No human being could have placed these codes into the Torah. These codes have been confirmed by our greatest mathematicians. This historical truth is self evident. I believe this information communicated through transcendental awareness is more than a warning. It may be the information we need to prevent the predicted disaster. It is clearly not a promise of divine salvation nor is it a threat of inevitable doom. It is just information. Seventeen years have passed since Mr. Drosnin found these prophetic ideas in his now famous and insightful book. Many of his The Ninth Siddhi

predictions did indeed come true, but many did not. Mr. Drosnin now believes that the future is indeed encoded in the Torah. He had correctly predicted Rabin’s murder and the Gulf War. But it was not predetermined. Michael now believes the hidden text in the Torah is a series of probabilities and many of these negative predictions could be changed. We at the Ninth Siddhi agree. We believe that positive change can be perpetrated through the direct experience of Transcendental Being. Direct experience perpetrates the super radiance effect, which has the ability to end suffering brought about by these predicted conflicts. Michael believes this is scientific proof that some intelligence outside of our own does exist. We believe that the Bible codes do not exist simply to announce the existence of the encoder. Direct experience of the encoder is well documented in Jewish Scripture. The Bible was encoded to sound a warning. It is a warning sent to us by Transcendental Being. This information was meant to be found and decoded in our computerized high tech nuclear time. Clearly, we could not have found the codes, without the use of our high speed computers. Michael Drosnin says it best when he writes in The Bible Codes, “There is no way to ignore the fact that a computerized code in the Bible, confirmed by some of the most famous mathematicians in the world, a code that accurately predicted the Gulf war, the collision of a comet with Jupiter, and the assassination of Rabin, also seems to state that the Apocalypse starts now, that within a decade we may face the real Armageddon, a nuclear war.” Over the last five thousand years, Transcendental Being has always come to the aid of humanity to save man from suffering, not perpetrate more suffering. I believe as Michael does that the codes provide information we need to prevent the predicted disaster. Also

encoded in the Bible just below the words, “End of Days” and “Atomic Holocaust” are the words “Code will save.”
The Ninth Siddhi and the Torah The basis of the Ninth Siddhi is well documented in Jewish scripture. The Kabbalah directs us to many saintly sages that taught the benefits of direct experience of Transcendental Being. This fact alone should inspire all of us to practice the Ninth Siddhi to bring health and wealth to ourselves and peace to the world through the Maharishi effect. The greatness of Judaism is that Transcendental Being speaks directly to this nation through one of mankind’s holiest of books, the Torah. The realization that mathematicians have shown that the Torah has hidden information that can be used by man, has inspired even the most orthodox Rabbis to quietly whisper a song of sacred sounds. The understanding that Transcendental Being communicates to us directly through the Torah has produced an out flowing of Being into the hearts and minds of all seekers on a global scale. When we combine the outflow of Being resulting from this new understanding of the Torah, with the millions of new initiates meditating in the tradition of the Spiritual Regeneration Movement, we begin to see the magnitude of this flow. Never before has this quantity and quality of Being been drawn into the hearts and minds of men and woman. In the next chapter, we will see that this holy river of Transcendental Being is joined by the revival of Being in the new Christian Gospels.

The New Christian Gospels The Nag Hammadi Find In August of 1945, just after over six million innocent lives were sacrificed at the altar of the Third Reich, during the final stages of World War II, the Americans bombed the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki with nuclear weapons. This was the first and last time nuclear weapons were ever used on civilian populations. It is estimated that over 250,000 additional souls were lost on those two days of infamy. In December of the same year 1945, an Arab peasant in Upper Egypt found in a red earthenware jar thirteen papyrus books bound in leather now called the Gnostic Gospels. These gospels now shed new light on the early days of the Christian Church and document that Jesus Christ taught that direct The Ninth Siddhi

experience of Transcendental Being is the corner stone of Christian spirituality. The finding of these gospels started a revival in Transcendentalism among Christians. The fact that these gospels were found at the beginning of the end of World War II is not an accident. As the Maharishi Doctrine professes, “when suffering and unrighteousness grow an invisible force of nature moves to correct man’s vision and establish a way of life which again will fulfill the high purpose of his existence.” The discovery of the Gnostic Gospels by an Egyptian named Muhammad Ali, near the town of Nag Hammadi, was quite surprising considering he was not looking for them. Elaine Pagels tells this story so eloquently in her book titled The Gnostic Gospels, Muhammad Ali, in the year of 1945, shortly before he and his brother avenged their father’s murder in a blood feud, had saddled their camels and gone into the desert to look for a soft soil called sabakh that they used to fertilize their crops. Digging around a massive boulder, they hit a red earthenware jar that was almost a meter high. Muhammad Ali hesitated to break the jar, thinking that it might contain a jinn (A supernatural creature in Arab folklore and Islamic teaching that occupy a parallel world to that of Mankind). But, realizing that it might also contain gold, he raised his fist and smashed the jar. Inside he found thirteen papyrus books. Returning home with the fertilizer and papyrus, he piled the papyrus books next to leaves and straw that was always kept next to the oven. Muhammad Ali’s mother admits to using some of the papyrus and straw to kindle the fire. Later, when they heard their father’s enemy was nearby, Muhammad and his brother seized the opportunity and “hacked off his limbs, ripped out his heart, and devoured it as the ultimate act of blood revenge.” During this blood feud, not much attention was given to the papyrus being used as kindling.

Before all the books were lost to the flames of the oven, a history teacher friend of the family asked if he might take a couple of the books to Cairo to find out their worth, if any. Once the find was made public and news of these new gospels began to spread, 30 years of arguing over ownership rights ensued. Court case followed court case while the scientists and scholars waited on the sidelines. Finally, in the 1970s, copies of these writing were made available to scientists and scholars, Elaine Pagels being one of the original Coptic translators. Mohammad Ali admitted in interviews that some of the texts were lost, either burned or blown away. But what remained is astonishing. In total there were 52 texts from the early centuries of the Christian era, including a collection of gospels previously unknown to the world. Elaine Pagels elaborates, “Besides the complete Gospel of Thomas and the Gospel of Philip the find included the Gospel of Truth, and the Gospel to the Egyptians which identifies itself as the sacred book of the great invisible Spirit.” Another group of writings consists of “… texts attributable to Jesus’ followers such as The Secret Book of James, the Apocalypse of Paul and the Letters of Peter to Phillip, Apocalypse of Peter and The Testimony of Truth as well as The Dialogue of the Savior.” These scriptures shed a different light on Christianity. It is a light that once again embraces contact with Being as the basis of spiritual life. In one of the scriptures, mysteriously titled “Thunder, Perfect Mind” a poem is spoken in the voice of the feminine divine power extolling the qualities of transcendence:
For I am the first and the last. I am the honored one and the scorned one. I am the whore and the holy one The Ninth Siddhi

I am the wife and the virgin I am the barren one, and many are her sons I am the silence that is incomprehensible. I am the utterance of my name. It soon became clear to the scholars and scientists, that these texts were Coptic translations made about 400 AD of still more ancient manuscripts. There is little debate about the dating of the manuscripts. Examination of the papyrus used to thicken the leather bindings, and the Coptic script place them at around 350-400 AD. But, scholars disagree about the dating of the original texts. Professor Helmut Koester of Harvard University suggests that some of these Gospels could be older than the Gospels of the New Testament, “…possibly as early as the second half of the first century. That would be as early or earlier than Mark, Matthew, Luke, and John.” All in all, these diverse texts range from secret gospels to poems, from philosophic descriptions of the origins of the universe to instruction for the experience of transcendence.
Gnosis: Self Knowledge Before discussing how the knowledge, wisdom, and experience of Transcendental Being was lost to Christians for the last 1600 years, let’s explore more precisely what it means to be Gnostic and what the Christian scholars mean by Gnostic Gospels. I believe it to be the same teachings given to Arjuna by Krishna on the field of Dharma 5000 years ago. I believe it to be the same teaching given to us by Abulafia founder of the Prophetic Kabbalah. I believe it to be the same teaching imparted by Creative Intelligence in the Torah. According to Theodotus, a Gnostic teacher writing in the new Gospels, gnosis involves an intuitive process of knowing oneself. The Ninth Siddhi

“To know oneself is to know true human nature and true human destiny.” To the Christian Gnostic, to know oneself at the deepest level is to know Transcendental Being, this is the secret of gnosis. Another Gnostic teacher writing about the same time named Monoimus wrote, “Look for him by taking yourself as the starting point. Learn who it is within you who makes everything his own and says, “My God, my mind, my thought, my soul, my body.” Learn the source of sorrow, joy, love, hate…If you carefully investigate these matters you will find him in yourself.”
Further investigation into the meaning of gnosis leads to the real words of Jesus. Elaine Pagels writes, “These living scriptures [the Gnostic gospels] portray Jesus as one who speaks of illusion and enlightenment, not of sin and repentance as portrayed in the New Testament. Instead of coming to save us from sin, he comes as a guide who opens access to spiritual understanding.” Today, as in antiquity, orthodox Christians believe that Jesus is Lord and Son of God in a unique way. That is, “He remains forever distinct from the rest of humanity whom he came to save.” Yet, the Gnostic Gospel of Thomas relates a story that when Thomas met Jesus, he instantly recognized him. Jesus says to Thomas that they have received their Being from the same source. In the Gospel of Thomas Jesus says, “I am not your master. Because you have drunk, The Ninth Siddhi

you have become drunk from the same bubbling stream which I have measured out…He who will drink from my mouth will become as I am. I myself shall become he and the things that are hidden will be revealed to him.” In these gospels, Jesus and his followers teach that experience of Transcendental Being is the basis of Christian teaching. This is the most important point made by Gnostics throughout these new gospels. Christian Gnostics acknowledged that pursuing Self Knowledge or Transcendental Being engages each person in a solitary and difficult process against some internal resistance. They characterize this resistance to transcendence as the desire to sleep or to be drunk or in other words, to remain unaware of Self or Being. Jesus, who says elsewhere in the Gospel of Thomas that “I am the knowledge of the truth” declares that when he came into the world: “I found them all drunk; I found none of them thirsty. And my soul became afflicted for the sons of men, because they are blind in their hearts and do not have sight; for empty they came into this world and empty they seek to leave this world. But for the moment they are drunk.” Thus, in these glorious texts found by Mohammad Ali and translated by Dr. Pagels, Jesus looks at his people and declares that they do not look within for salvation. They do not recognize themselves as divine because they do not seek self-knowledge. The Ninth Siddhi

In the same Gospel of Thomas, Jesus makes clear his affinity for teaching transcendence, Jesus said: “If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you.”
Other examples of Christ’s teaching the virtues of Transcendence abound in these insightful gospels. In another example from the Gospel of Thomas Jesus ridiculed those who thought the “Kingdom of God” was a literal place. Jesus says in a long discourse, “If those who lead you say to you look the Kingdom is in the sky, the birds will arrive before you. If they say to you It is in the sea, the fish will arrive before you.” Jesus said, “Rather the Kingdom is inside of you, and it is outside of you. When you come to know yourselves, then you will be known, and you will realize that you are the sons of the living Father. But if you will not know yourself, then you will dwell in poverty and it is you who are that poverty.” Lastly, in the Gospel of Philip, the author argues that the teachings of Christ were not to be taken literally. He argues that these teachings were carved in a language of internal transformation. In the light of Gnosticism, he continues that whoever perceives divine reality “becomes what he sees.” I found this quote from Gospel of Phillip in Dr Pagels’ The Gnostic Gospels, to be particularly telling: The Ninth Siddhi

“…You saw the spirit, you became the spirit You saw Christ, you became Christ You saw the Father, You shall be the Father You see yourself, and what you see you shall become.”
Realization of the Potential After confirming contact with Being as a center post for early Christian belief, Dr. Pagels turns her attention to other texts discovered at Nag Hammadi to find specific techniques used as tools to gain contact with Being. Many sources are noted but my favorite is the Book of Zostrianos. This is the longest text in the Nag Hammadi library and tells specifically how one spiritual master obtained enlightenment. Zostrianos writes that first he had to rid himself of physical desire through ascetic practices. Second, he had to reduce the “chaos in the mind” with meditation. Then he says “…after I set myself straight I saw the perfect child – a vision of divine presence” [Transcendental Being]. According to the text, Zostrianos went on to have many experiences and visions, encouraging us to be seekers as well. He asks, “Why are you hesitating? Seek when you are sought; when you are invited, listen…Look at the light. Flee the darkness. Do not be led astray to your destruction.” Dr. Pagels writes “ …other Gnostic sources offer more specific directions. The Discourse on the Eighth and Ninth discloses an order of tradition that guides the initiate to higher Self knowledge.” The book opens with the initiate reminding his spiritual master of a promise: “O my father, yesterday you promised me that you would bring my mind into the eight and afterwards you would bring me The Ninth Siddhi

into the ninth. You said that this is the order of tradition.” His teacher responds with passion and understanding, “O my son indeed this is the order. But the promise was made in accordance with human nature.” He explains that the initiate himself must bring forth the understanding he seeks. The initiate is astonished. Is the power then actually within him? The student has already progressed through the first seven levels of understanding, but while compelled by his undying morals and dedication, he admits he has no firsthand experience of Divine Knowledge. The teacher and initiate join in prayer “to the perfect and invisible one to whom one speaks to in silence.” The book goes on to describe a meditation technique using chants of words and vowels to encourage transcendence. Later, the teacher prays, “Lord…acknowledge the spirit that is in us” and enters into an ecstatic state while continuing to speak to the student. Dr. Pagels in The Gnostic Gospels continues the dialog of the teacher while in his ecstatic state, quoting directly from The Discourse on the Eighth and Ninth: “…..I see! I see indescribable depths. How shall I tell you, O my son?...How shall I describe the universe? I am mind and I see another mind, the one that moves the soul. I see the one that moves me from pure forgetfulness. You give me power! I see myself! I want to speak! Fear restrains me. I have found the beginning of the power that is above all powers, the one that has no beginning. I have said, O my son, that I am mind. I have seen! Language is not able to reveal this. For the entire eighth, O my son, and the souls that are in it, and the angels, The Ninth Siddhi

sing a hymn in silence. And I, Mind understand.” Later in this revealing book, the student filled with ecstasy replies, “I rejoice, O my father, because I see you smiling. And the universe rejoices.” The Master, in reply, tells him to “sing in silence, and to ask what you want in silence.” And so we find the basis of the Ninth Siddhi in the dialog between Master and disciple in The Discourse on the Eighth and Ninth. To “sing in silence” is a very poetic way of describing the experience of pure awareness or transcendental awareness and the direct experience of Transcendental Being. When the Master commands “ask what you want in silence.” This command is the basis of the Ninth Siddhi: to visualize an energized intention near the Source of Thought. Dr. Elaine Pagels gives more examples describing specific techniques used to experience Transcendental Being or Gnosis in the chapter titled Gnosis: Self-Knowledge as Knowledge of God in her remarkable book The Gnostic Gospels. As she explains in another extraordinary Gnostic text called Allogenes, translated literally it means “one from another race.” We think it refers to the spiritually mature person experiencing [Cosmic Consciousness] as described in the chapter on the Bhagavad-Gita. If we remember from that section, Cosmic Consciousness is the fifth state of consciousness, one that allows the initiate to experience Transcendental Awareness while involved in activity. It is a state of mind in which Being is experienced as a silent witness during daily activity. After a long discourse to his initiates, Allogenes gives testimony to a vision of the feminine power Youel “who belongs to all the glories” who told him:

“…Since your instruction has become complete, and you have known the good that is within you, hear now concerning the Triple Power those things that you will guard in great silence and great mystery.” As Dr. Pagels explains in detail, the Triple Power is a “holy power” that is obtained through a meditative technique that includes the intoning of sound. In The Gnostic Gospels, Dr. Pagels lists these intoned sounds or Mantras and reports that in the actual Allogenes text specific instruction is given. However, Gnostic teachers like Allogenes usually reserved their secret instruction, sharing it only verbally, to ensure each candidate’s suitability to receive it. This is the same instruction given by the Maharishi in modern times concerning individualized attention and the gift of a personalized Mantra. Again, in early Christian scripture, we see the awareness and development of the Ninth Siddhi. The initiate is instructed to meditate using a tone or Mantra in order to receive a holy power or Siddhi.
The Brotherhood of the Cross When reflecting on early Christian scripture, in the light of the Ninth Siddhi, a nagging question always seems to dishearten us. Why where Christians denied this wisdom and knowledge for the last 1,700 years? Clearly, all the wisdom and knowledge of transcendence is presented in these early Christian texts. Also present is the wisdom and knowledge of transcendence reported by Jewish Gnostic sages. Why where Christians denied this path to an integrated life? Why Christians were denied knowledge of the direct experience of Transcendental Being? The Ninth Siddhi

Perhaps we should look first to the Maharishi for the answer to this question. In the Preface to his translation and commentary of the Bhagavad-Gita, he reflects on the longevity of this great teaching through the ages. On average, the teaching that an integrated life could be obtained and the understanding of one’s Self realized including the Holy Gifts or Siddhis, only lasts approximately 300 years. Lord Krishna states that “the long lapse of time” is the reason for such loss of wisdom. The teaching of Krishna, Buddha, Shankara, and the Gnostic teaching of Jesus all seem to have faded in within 300 years. Only to be found again in our present time, by the Maharishi, the Bible Codes and a man named Muhammad, in a cave in Egypt, at the beginning of the end of a World War. Dr. Pagels is not as amicable about the loss of transcendental wisdom. She believes the early Orthodox Catholic Church, the so called Brotherhood of the Cross, was the principal reason for the destruction of these early documents and the killing of the early Gnostic followers of Christ. She cites many Gnostic philosophers and practitioners whose writings were burned. These early Christian Gnostics were turned over to the Romans by the orthodox to be scourged and fed to the beasts in the arena as entertainment for the citizens of Rome. In the absence of the moon, the stars take over and provide as much light as possible. When Christ’s teaching of this high ideal - contact with Transcendental Being - disappeared from sight, others came to uphold the path to transcendence without its proper basis in Being. People followed them and many devotional sects arose compassionately singing that “someday our prayer will be heard.” All these sects held that devotion and suffering are the last stages of the initiate’s achievement. But the early Gnostic followers of Christ believed that the primary basis of Christian spirituality was The Ninth Siddhi

founded on the experience of Being, through meditation and not suffering or even faith. Consequently, seekers of Being remained seeking without guidance, and lovers of Being remained weeping without finding. Eventually, these sects formed a Canon (the four gospels of the New Testament), a Creed (based on the teaching of the Apostles) and an organization based on the Roman military hierarchy. Soon, the new church was institutionalized and the church became responsible for its followers salvation, not Gnosis or self knowledge or direct experience. Most unfair was that once Christianity became an institutional religion, any ideas contrary to the church’s Canon and Creed came to be labeled “Heresy.” Any ideas which supported it became “orthodox.” In this way the Gnostic message was erased from the minds of Christians for 1,700 years until revealed by Muhammad Ali in the sands of Egypt.
The Ninth Siddhi and the New Christianity Muhammad Ali says he hesitated to break the jar containing the early Christian scriptures, because the jar might contain a jinn, a supernatural creature in Arab folklore. In Islamic teaching, jinns occupy a parallel world to that of mankind. He did not find Jinn. He did, however, find a strong spirit. He found the true spirit of Christianity. And, this spirit changes everything for the modern Christian. Muhammad could not have imagined the implications of his accidental find that day at Nag Hammadi. Had they been found 1,000 years earlier, they most certainly would have been burned as heresy and blasphemy. Fortunately, they remained hidden until today, when the world’s cultural experience gives all men and woman a new perspective on the issues these Gnostic gospels raise. Only today, do we have the capability to even consider this type of knowledge and wisdom. Only in these modern times can we even

discuss the magnitude and wonder of the Ninth Siddhi without persecution. Does the knowledge that the experience of Transcendental Being as taught by Jesus Christ, commit Christians to use the techniques discussed in the Ninth Siddhi to manifest wealth, abundance, and world peace? Once presented with the tools and technology to make world peace a reality through the Maharishi Effect, do we have a responsibility to act, to do our duty as soldiers of peace? The Ninth Siddhi is old school technology, brought to the forefront of our culture by science, to bring about change in the world. Peace will never be obtained on the level of relative existence. In today’s world it will only be obtained through the halo of the Maharishi Effect. As soldiers of peace we should take the next step in our evolution and practice the Ninth. By learning this skill of specific prophecy, we enliven our souls with Being, live a life of “right action,” and bring peace and prosperity to the world.

Globalization of Being The Trinity of Peace The Maharishi Doctrine states that “when suffering and unrighteousness grows an invisible force of nature moves to correct man’s vision and establish a way of life which again will fulfill the high purpose of man’s existence.” This invisible force of nature is the natural result of Being manifesting in the hearts and minds of The Ninth Siddhi

humanity, offsetting suffering and unrighteousness. Perhaps, because of the great loss of innocent life during the Second World War, Being today is manifesting in abundance on a global scale. This globalization of Being is meaningful to the practitioners of the Ninth Siddhi, but in addition to signaling a time of revival, it also signals a time of great spiritual turmoil. If we think of Being as a great river of bliss, love, and peace, then today it is fed by three tributaries each a broken seal of prophecy. The first is the manifestation of Being produced by the Spiritual Regeneration Movement. This movement is responsible for millions of meditators that otherwise would not be experiencing Transcendental Being today. Second, the stunning acknowledgment by Rabbis and scientists that Transcendental Being has coded information in the Torah for us to use and employ. This acknowledgement has even the most orthodox Rabbi searching inward whispering sacred sounds to encourage transcendence. And third, the great truth found in the New Christian Gospels that in the early days of the Christian Church Jesus taught the wisdom and knowledge of Transcendence. Now, millions of Christians can experience Transcendental Being and not be fearful they are performing an act not taught or encouraged by Christ. Why is this trinity of peace important to us today? First, this phenomenon, this trinity of peace, is historically notable. Never before in the history of Mankind has Being manifested from three distinctly different cultures. Considering that past revivals took place over thousands of years, the fact that three revivals of Transcendental Being should take place in a decade is remarkable. And third, a revival of this magnitude, has never taken place on a global basis.

We have seen great upheavals of Being in India as Krishna notes, but his teaching was taught on a regional basis, not global. Buddha taught the same great message, but only to the east and not on a global basis. Finally, Christ taught the virtues of transcendence, but only for a few hundred years before these teachings were lost to the orthodox and not taught on a global basis. In the last 5,000 years, humanity has not witnessed an abundance of Being the likes of which we are witnessing today. Reflecting on the power of the super radiance effect, we could speculate that if past revivals lasted 300 years each, then today’s three revival should last 900 to 1000 years. For the practitioners of the Ninth Siddhi, this abundance of Being is an advantage and should be fully employed. This abundance of Being hones our Mantric tools allowing easier access to the Source of Thought and more specific placement of our energized intention for abundance, prophecy, and peace. Another way an abundance of Being helps the Ninth Siddhi and other techniques that teach super normal skills is through the Super Radiance Effect. If we increase the amount of Being in the world, then we increase the effect Being has on the world 10,000 times for the amount increased. This fact suggests it is easier for meditators to attain the proper brain coherence while meditating. It would also make it easier to transcend and experience Transcendental Being. Consequently, this time period, a period of great revival, possibly the greatest revival of Being in the history of mankind, is the perfect time for meditators to take the next step and practice The Ninth Siddhi.
Chapter 1, Verse 1, Line 1 Given the magnitude of Being in the world today, why has violence not been eliminated? We have made progress. The Trinity of Peace has helped reduce violence. Over the last 60 years, violence and unrighteousness has been reduced, from World Wars that killed The Ninth Siddhi

tens of millions of innocent souls to regional wars killing tens of thousands. But violence primarily in the Middle East persists. The Maharishi’s comments on Chapter 1, Verse 1, Line 1 of the Bhagavad-Gita may offer some insight: “A high degree of concentration of negative forces, without positive forces to balance them, ends in suffering and destruction of life. Similarly, a high degree of concentration of positive forces fails to maintain life in its normal state. The life of an individual under the influence of increasing positive forces enters into a field of increasing happiness and is eventually transformed into blissconsciousness in which state it gains the status of cosmic existence, eternal life. In this way, we find that the increase of negative forces ends in passivity or extinction of life, whereas the increase of positive forces results in life eternal.” Destruction and birth, good and evil, “Right Action” and unrighteousness each play a role as creation moves life forward on the field of Dharma. Possibly one of the messages from the Gita is that negative forces will persist throughout time. We will never be completely free from violence as the positive and negative forces shape the destiny of life.

similar to today’s abundance of Being. To show the tremendous power of an energized intention set close to the Source of Thought by a group in a time of great revival, look to the passion of Mary. In the early Christian gospels, Mary Magdalene was an apostle of Christ. She was strong of spirit but weak of flesh. The new gospels state that Jesus healed her from disease. In the process of healing Mary, some amount of the healing quality of Transcendental Being remained with Mary. This should not be surprising since we know that residual Being remains in our hearts and minds after every meditation. But in this case, since Jesus had perfected all the major and minor Siddhis, the Super Radiance Effect was palpable. In the act of healing Mary, Jesus created a state of consciousness in Mary that allowed her to maintain Transcendental Being while involved in activity. That is, during sleep and waking state, she maintained contact with transcendental awareness. This state of consciousness is defined in the Bhagavad-Gita as Cosmic Consciousness. In this way, she became a healer and practiced priestly rites. Consequently, she became one of Christ’s favored apostles along with Thomas for whom Christ said, “I am not your Master” meaning Thomas had attained Self awareness just like Mary. But not all the apostles had the experience of Transcendental Being. The Gospel of Philip relates this story about Jesus and Mary Magdalene. “…the companion of the Savior is Mary Magdalene. But Christ loved her more than all the disciples and used to kiss her often on her mouth. The rest of the disciples were offended…..They said to Christ, “Why do you love her more than The Ninth Siddhi

all of us?” The living Jesus answered and said to them, “Why do I not love you as I love her?” Thus, the war against the feminine began in the Orthodox Church. Never again would women be given tribute, priestly rites, or honor within the Church. These misunderstandings that God’s love is someplace outside of our own hearts, outside of our own experience, breeds jealousies, resentment, treachery, deceit, covetousness, and enviousness. These negative forces fester until fear and hatred matures into blood torn flesh, bloody feuds, and the extinction of life. Pope Gregory I “the Father of Christian Worship” so angry and hateful that “God loved Mary more” wrote her into history as a prostitute, a whore and an unholy woman. Approximately 600 years after Pope Gregory, the Orthodox established the Court of the Inquisition. The most intuitive woman, the midwives, and healers, possibly the most spiritually gifted of Gnostic woman, were labeled heretics and hundreds of thousands were killed at the hands of the Brotherhood. These killings were brutal, bloody, and torturous often times administered in public. It was as if the Brotherhood of the Cross were trying to exorcise the natural gifts of healing and prophecy out of the souls of these radiant spirits. Such was the agony and passion of Mary.

Today, The Ninth Siddhi sings a perfect song of love to all those who in the past were labeled prostitutes, whores, and unholy women. To all the misunderstood and abused, practice the Ninth Siddhi. Turn your attention inward toward Bliss, love, and peace. Regain your tribute, exercise your priestly rites, and return your honor. Live with a dignity Mary never saw.
The Last Tearful Conflict As seers write in the classical language of Sanskrit bringing us wisdom and knowledge of our destiny, the last tearful conflict is written in the language of the Hebrews. In a wolf cub dream, an actor descends to witness two brothers standing, belly to belly, chin to chin, in argument. One brother is chosen and spoken to by God. He is to be freed from slavery, freed from suffering at the hands of the unrighteous, and promised a new land of wealth, prosperity, and peace. The other brother is not chosen. The not chosen shouts “God loves you more.” Thus began the conflict in the Middle East, which persists to this day. Conflicts arising from an individual’s or a people’s loss of contact with Being, which brings into one’s life Bliss, love and peace, are difficult to settle in the relative world or the world of the ego. These thoughts and feelings about the love of God manifest from thoughts and feelings, close to the Source of Thought and are, as the practice of the Ninth Siddhi and Mary’s Lullaby show, eternally powerful. These conflicts will never be settled in the sphere of relative existence. In the case of the Middle East, no amount of diplomacy will suffice. No army is large enough to change the hearts and minds of men felt slighted by God. Forgiveness will not work since no sin was committed; only a misunderstanding about the nature of God’s love. The Ninth Siddhi has one reasonable solution. Practice the Ninth Siddhi and allow the Maharishi Effect to, if not eliminate

violence, lessen the brutality of the final conflict and extend the time of revival. However, there may be another final solution.
A Principal of Peace Today, as the Arab spring blossoms and tyrants fall from grace to be replaced by Brothers of Faith, a solution may be unfolding. As the delta of the Holy River of Being fed by the Trinity of Peace solidifies in the desert of the Middle East, a final solution may be at hand. In past revivals the torrent of Being has never been so swift, its expanse never so great, its domain never more influential while unrighteousness and chaos prevailed. The Maharishi doctrine states that when suffering and unrighteousness grows an invisible force of nature moves to correct man’s vision. Could a spiritual leader emerge in the Middle East to show the correct path to righteousness? Will a Principal of Peace emerge born of the abundance of Being in the world today. Is this the final peaceful solution?

the Jewish tradition of the Torah, and the new Gnostic gospels recently found in Egypt, diversity in the material world has always been manifested from an absolute, unbounded and infinitely dynamic field of Transcendental Being. Science has finally proven the existence of Transcendental Being and it is called the Unified Field. Our classical understanding of the world as deterministic, like the formulas of Newton, is now finally giving way to the quantum model. In the world view determined by the quantum model, matter is no longer a solid in the conventional sense. It is only an agitation, a minute disturbance or to use one of Dr. Hagelin’s favorite words a percolation in the underlying Unified Field. Consider the famous Heisenberg principle that states that we can only know either the position or momentum of a particle but never both at the same time. In the classical world view, paradoxes are not allowed to exist. In the quantum world, paradoxes abound. For example, when scientists observe particles, they sometimes behave as particles and sometimes as waves. The greatest physicists in the world describe a particle in terms of “probability amplitudes.” This is a mathematical description of a wave or field that states the statistical chance of defining either its location or momentum, but not both. These insights into the nature of Being, are having a profound effect on our Self knowledge. For example, in the classical world view, the realm of our daily experience, there is an objective world independent of the perceiver. This world is made up clumps of matter separated from each other in time and space. In the old world view, mind is separate from matter and confined to the brain. In this view, we are self-contained independent entities that somehow learned to think.

In the new world view, the quantum point of view, the objective world is composed of energy fields that arise from the Unified Field or Transcendental Being. The reasoning behind the Heisenberg uncertainly principle is that the act of measuring affects the precision of measurement of the position or momentum of the particle. In other words, when we attempt to measure or observe something close to the Unified Field, our own living presence affects the measurement. That is, our state of consciousness interacts with the consciousness inherent in the Unified Field. Thus, the objective world is no longer independent of the perceiver. This new world view parallels perfectly the view held by the practitioners of the Ninth Siddhi – that to create meaningful change in your life, to learn a super normal skill, to predict the lottery, you manifest an energized intention set close to the Source of Thought that is now called by scientists the Unified Field. This new world view brings a new source of energy to mankind. It is an energy source more powerful than chemical energy, more powerful than nuclear energy without the pollutants. These are radically new concepts for the Self image of mankind. However, while defying our sensory experience and any rational explanation of the world, they give us access to a new technology spiritual technology. This spiritual technology is the basis of the Ninth Siddhi – to set an energized intention close to the Unified Field. The Maharishi has written, “As the Unified Field is the most basic of natural law, the Unified Field Technology is the most powerful technology – much more powerful than electronic and nuclear technologies.”
The God Particle If scientists are on the right track to discovering the secrets of the mystical, then they should be able to confirm creation in the process of creating at the level of the Unified Field. This was postulated in The Ninth Siddhi

the 1960’s by Professor Peter Higgs of Edinburgh University. He suggested that in order for matter to have mass, it must be influenced by a hypothetical particle that creates a field, called the Higgs [unified] field. In other words, in order for matter to come into existence, it must be acted on by a force. Scientists have named this invisible force the Higgs Boson. Since it seemingly creates something from nothing (much like Transcendental Being manifesting an energized intention) the news media affectionately call this force the God Particle. The fair and balanced, Fox News channel announced early in 2012 that “Researchers working at the world's largest atom smasher in Geneva have found tantalizing hints of the tiny, elemental bit of matter that has been labeled "the brick that built the universe" and "the god particle" -- but stopped short of announcing the discovery of the tiny particle.” We should have no doubt that science will eventually discover the force percolating in Transcendental Being manifesting creation. Eventually, scientists may even be able to amplify and direct this force as we now do at the Ninth Siddhi.
Dark Matter and Energy While theorizing about the Unified Field and particles responsible for manifesting life, the scientists detected an anomaly. They found a discrepancy between the mass of large astronomical objects as determined from their gravitational effects, and the mass of the “luminous matter” such as stars, dust, and gas. They were different when they should be the same. The space in which the galaxies were placed did not have enough mass in it to account for the gravitational effects observed. What was affecting the gravitational movement of galaxies that the scientists could not see? Scientists and mathematicians made additional observations concerning the orbital velocities of galaxies in clusters. Still they could not account for the missing mass.

Trusting in mathematics and formula, they called this missing mass Dark Matter and Dark Energy since it was invisible to our sensory observations. That is, transcendental to atomic activity. Most amazing is the proportion of Dark Energy and Matter to the atoms that make up the stuff of the universe. Scientists found that 74% of the universe is made up of Dark Energy, 22% is made up of Dark Matter, and 4% of the universe is composed of atoms and molecules that account for the luminous matter observed by the most powerful telescopes. It is difficult to imagine that the billions and billions of galaxies only make up a fraction (4%) of all the energy and matter in the universe. In an online course taught by Dr. Hagelin called “The Foundations of Physics and Consciousness” he postulates that the Unified Field is one and the same field established by dark matter and energy. He argues that it is through this field that life manifests through Transcendental Being, and that its agent of action is the God Particle which percolates to the surface and gives mass to other particles. And, that an action of change on the surface of the Unified Field is accomplished through an energized intention of a human mind. This change is more powerful the closer the intention is set to the Unified Field. Meaning, closer in vibratory sound to the quality of Being sought. This focus of intention and closeness to the Unified Field gives energy to the intention and gives it life.
The Science behind the Siddhis Dr. Robert Wallace in The Physiology of Consciousness discusses ideas presented by Dr. Hagelin. He writes, “Dr. Hagelin feels that in order to account for Yogic Siddhis and the Maharishi Effect, we need to go beyond conventional mechanisms The Ninth Siddhi

[the classical approach] and postulate an alternate theoretical framework at the level of the Unified Field.” “Only from the level of the Unified Field where all four fundamental forces of nature are unified could there be a natural command over the structure of space-time geometry to support Yogic Siddhis.” At the level of the Unified Field, space-time is dynamically generated. At this level, through the generation of a coherent energized intention the space-geometry is changed and the intention is manifest in the world. Consequently, on the basis of current quantum physics thinking, it is only through the technology of the Unified Field that the Ninth Siddhi is possible. The key underlying principal of all the Siddhis is that each individual through the development of coherent brain functioning is able to directly experience and stimulate [with an intention] the Unified Field. This is the basis of life and the Ninth Siddhi. In the next section, we put this scientific knowledge to practical use. We combine scientific understanding with the ancient knowledge of sacred sounds and states of consciousness. With this information, we produce a spiritual technique to manifest wealth and prosperity for the individual and peace for the world. It was as though I had begun to see and smell and hear for the first time. The world appeared to me as Wordsworth describes with “the glory and freshness of a dream.” The sight of a wild rose growing on a hedge, the scent of lime-tree blossoms caught suddenly as I rode down a hill on a bicycle, came to me like visitations from another world. But it was not only my senses that were awakened. I experienced an overwhelming emotion in the presence of nature, especially at evening. It began to have a kind of sacramental character for me. I approached it with a sense of almost religious awe and, in a hush that comes before sunset; I felt again the presence of an almost unfathomable mystery. Objective of the Craft The objective of the Craft is to set an energized intention close to the Source of Thought to predict/manifest a number from the “lottery number sequence.” In Part I, the “” section, I hoped to make you aware that the Source of Thought, Transcendental Being, and the Unified Field are one and the same. We learned that the Unified Field has been used by seekers since antiquity to manifest intentions through meditative techniques. In Part II, the “ we begin to work on the actual sound of the intention, the setting of the intention, actual techniques to get close to the Source of Thought, and the qualities and properties of the “lottery number sequence.” Keeping the objective in mind, does the “lottery number sequence” have any special qualities that we could employ? That is, is it related to the Unified Field in any way? If we could find a connection between the lottery number sequence and the Unified Field, we should be able to design a sound/Mantra that could be used to get close to this specific quality of Transcendental Being. As luck would have it, the Divine Proportion has the exact same properties as the lottery number sequence. As discussed in the advanced section, the Divine Proportion plays a role in the manifestation of life. If we can identify this life producing quality of Being in the Divine proportion, then we will have also identified a special quality of the lottery number sequence. We can use this information about a particular quality of Transcendental Being to The Ninth Siddhi

A Quality of Being Before discussing the qualities and properties that the Divine Proportion and “lottery number sequence” share, what do we mean by a quality of Transcendental Being or a quality of the Unified Field? Think of it like this, we already know that the super radiance effect is similar to light because coherence experiments show it to be so and because we can measure the effects of super radiance in social indices as in the Maharishi effect. Normal light is broken up into its component parts when we shine a beam of light through a prism. When this is done, the beam breaks up into all the various colors of the light spectrum. We can say these colors are a quality of light. Science has also discovered that each color is defined by frequencies or vibrations. If we want to tune in to a specific color, we must find matter that reflects back this frequency or combination of frequencies to observe the color. The Unified Field is no different. If we could shine a beam of super radiance through a prism of life, we would see a spectrum of colors or qualities that comprised the beam. But, instead of colors we would see the qualities that manifest the Siddhis. Each Siddhi has its own unique quality associated with it. To use this quality of Being, we use a Mantra to vibrate back this quality just like we found matter to reflect back a color. In this way, we use Mantras to get close to a specific quality of the Source of Thought. In the Ninth Siddhi, we are looking for a quality of being shared with the Divine Proportion and the lottery number sequence. We can use this information to predict/manifest a winning lottery number.

The Divine Proportion The first clear definition of what later become known as the Divine Proportion was given around 300 B.C. by the founder of geometry, Euclid of Alexandria. In Euclid’s own words, “A straight line is said to have been cut in extreme and mean ratio when, as the whole line is to the greater segment, so is the greater to the lesser.”

In other words, if we look at the above line drawing, line AB is certainly longer than the line segment AC. At the same time, the segment AC is longer than CB. If the ratio of the length of AC to that of CB is the same as the ratio of AB to AC, then the line has been cut in extreme and mean ratio or in the Divine Proportion. Who could have guessed that this straight forward line division that Euclid defined 2,300 years ago would have consequences in topics ranging from the structure of galaxies containing billions of stars to the arrangement of leaves along a twig of a plant, from advanced mathematics to Renaissance art? The value of the Divine Proportion out to ten places is 1.6180339887….. (The ratio of AC to CB). This number sequence has two very unique properties. First, this number sequence never ends and it never repeats. This number possesses the quality of infinite randomness. During the time that this number was formulized by Euclid, the Pythagoreans managed the world view. The people were saddened with the realization that there existed a number like the The Ninth Siddhi

Divine Proportion, a number that goes on forever without displaying any repetition or pattern caused a true philosophical crisis. Before this discovery only rational numbers were known to exist. Even more astounding is the number of times this number is used by nature in the unfolding of life. For example, cut an ordinary apple through its girth. You will find the apple seeds arranged in a five point star pattern or pentagram. Each of the five isosceles triangles that make the corners of the pentagram has the property that the ratio of the length of its longer side to the shorter is the Divine Proportion. Take a rose and dissect it to discover the way in which its petals overlap. You will find that the positions of the petals are arranged according to the Divine proportion. We are all familiar with the beautiful spiral structures of sea shells and mollusks, such as the chambered nautilus. As an aside, the dancing Shiva of Hindu myth holds such a nautilus in one of his hands as a symbol of one of the instruments initiating creation. Of course scientists and mathematicians have shown that the growth of the spiral shells also obey a pattern governed by the Divine Proportion. Mario Livio in The Golden Ratio, a book about the Divine Proportion, discusses many other examples in which nature is supported by this divine number sequence. For example, Mario Livio discusses how creation has used the Divine Proportion to build the counter winding spirals The Ninth Siddhi

of sun flower seeds as well as whirlpools, hurricanes, and giant spiral galaxies. The Divine Proportion is evident in the proportion of Man as well as the animal kingdom. Nature is using this number sequence in the evolution of life on the planet. It is easy to see the association this natural sequence has to Transcendental Being and the Unified Field.
The Lottery Number Sequence Think of lottery numbers as being placed next to each other after each drawing. The first day 386 is drawn in a fair lottery, or in other words a random lottery. The next day 177 is drawn. The day after that 876 is drawn. In this way, we generate a perfectly random sequence – 386177876. Assuming that lotteries will be played until the end of time, we can say that the lottery number sequence is an infinite random number sequence. This infinite randomness is the same property inherent in the Divine Proportion. Thus the same quality of Being is inherent within both. Consequently, both the Divine Proportion and the Lottery Number Sequence have life organizing and supporting properties. If we are given an infinite number if tries to match each number in the Divine Proportion to each number in the Lottery Number Sequence, then we should be able to get both sequences to match up many times if only for a few hundred numbers. For our purposes and using a scale of infinite randomness, they are the same number. And since the Unified Field from which this quality of Being emanates (vibrates), is unbound by time and space, we access this quality with the proper sound, vibration or mantra. In this way, we can predict winning lottery numbers using the Divine Proportion.
Laxmi’s Mantra Reflect on the objective of the Craft. It is to set an energized intention close to the Source of Thought or Unified Field. We have The Ninth Siddhi

identified the quality within the Source of Thought needed to predict/manifest the next number grouping in the lottery number sequence. Now we need to design a tool that uses this quality (vibration) in order to get us close to the Source of Thought. We know that if we can get close enough to the Source of Thought this endearment will add a proportional amount of power or Radiance to our energized intention. Over the last 5,000 years, sages using the holy Sanskrit language have produced hundreds of Mantras. Some of these Mantras are meant to be used for healing, some for spiritual attainment, and even some for wealth and prosperity. The Mantra recited on the sound file offered on the Ninth Siddhi’s web site at no charge, is called Laxmi’s Dream. In Sanskrit literature, the Laxmi’s Mantra is used to attract wealth and prosperity through positive life initiating energies at the level of the Unified Field. It seems to be a perfect match for use in the Ninth Siddhi. The Laxmi mantra in English characters looks like this: Om Shrim Maha Lakshmi Yei Swaha To pronounce it, it sounds like: Ohmmm Shreem Maha Lok-Shmee Yayee Swahaaa Let’s break it down to its parts: Om - Begins most mantras and is used as a sacred exclamation. It precedes traditional mantras. Shrim – is a traditional vibration to attract abundance. Maha – in Sanskrit means great. Laxmi – is a metaphor for wealth and prosperity. Swaha – is a vibration that attracts wealth primarily through games of chance.

Overview of the Craft In the Ninth Siddhi, everybody starts their practice on three number games. Once we are successful in predicting three numbers in the proper sequence, we are granted the rank of initiate. The initiate then moves to four number games. In four number games, the initiate only needs to predict four numbers in any sequence. Once the initiate has accomplished this task, he or she is promoted to the rank of Soldier of Peace. After successfully predicting three and four number games the Soldier is assigned to a group that works The Ninth Siddhi

collaboratively to predict five and six number games. Once a five or six number game is predicted by a group, all are promoted to the rank of Principal. To ensure that we are hitting more numbers more often, we use charts to track our progress. To this end, The Ninth Siddhi has established a point system for this purpose. In the three number games, you receive 5 points for predicting a digit correctly. You get an additional 10 points if this digit is in the proper sequence. We sum up these points daily. We chart these daily sums on a chart that is provided. Unfortunately, too many times these charts look chaotic. We cannot make rational sense out of them. Some days we achieve a high score followed by days of no score at all. This is normal. Because of this inconsistency, we calculate a 10 day moving average. The 10 day moving average will remove the chaotic nature of the information and smooth the data so we can make some sense of it. We are looking for an upward drift to the 10 day moving average. An upward drift in the 10 day moving average means that you are achieving better results than could be achieved through chance. That is, the setting of an energized intention close to the Unified Field is producing numbers that are clearly better than can potentially be achieved by mere chance. In addition, the more you practice, the more Transcendental Being you bring into waking state. So each day you practice, you are getting a little better at this super normal skill. Eventually, you will predict the proper 3 number sequence. Also, the improvement in the 10 day moving average will inspire and motivate you by providing real world proof that the system is working for you. This real world proof is necessary for all of us who aspire to learn a super normal skill. When you have correctly predicted the proper three number

sequence, you will be granted the rank of initiate in the Ninth Siddhi. Next, initiates work on 4 number games. Similar Mantras and charting techniques are used. However, in four number games, only the proper numbers need be predicted. That is, they do not need to be in the proper sequence (Boxed). Once this assignment is completed the initiate is granted the rank of Solder of Peace. Once a four number game has been mastered, the Soldier moves on to five and six number game prediction and practices with other Soldiers in a group setting. This grouping is necessary to take advantage of the Super Radiance effect discussed in the tradition section. It is through groups that we predict 5 and 6 number games. Once a group successfully predicts a 5 or 6 number game, all in the group are granted the rank of Principal.

Becoming an Initiate How to Use the Sound File Once the sound file is downloaded to your computer, you have a number of ways to listen to the file. For example, you can keep the file on your computer and listen to it while sitting in front of your display. However, this is probably not the best way to listen to the file. You need to get relaxed and comfortable. If you can get really comfortable while sitting in front of your computer, then this method will work for you. If you downloaded the file to a laptop computer, you can move to a comfortable chair and put the laptop on your lap. This may work for you assuming you can get good and comfortable. Another way to use the file is to put the file on your The Ninth Siddhi

phone or other mobile device such as a iPod and use headphones to listen to the file. These small mobile devices are perfect for listening to this type of sound file. They are not obtrusive, you can listen to them while in bed, and they are quiet so you will not disturb others. Consider meditating using the sound file twice a day. In the 3 and 4 number games, many state lotteries have two drawings per day. Try to play and chart one of the drawings. If you are meditating twice a day you will have two tickets to play every day. If your country offers two daily lotteries, just play one of the lotteries, and consider playing every day. For example, if your state or country offers a morning and an evening drawing, play either the morning or the evening and be consistent in the drawing you chose. Track your progress on the charts provided for each drawing. Think of these 3 and 4 number games as practice for the 5 and 6 number games that only have drawings a couple of times per week. By practicing twice a day, you are honing your skills and improving your predictive ability each day. You can practice at any time of day. You may find that bedtime is good time to get in one meditation. Also, if you are busy with a job or children, you may consider practicing in the car or on the train. Just do your best. Under no circumstances should you ever feel guilty or stressed because you missed a meditation. Do what you can and be happy.
Mind and Body Transcendence starts with the body. Begin to think of your mind as your whole body, including your brain, nervous system, muscles, organs, and glands. If your body is stressed, it will be difficult to transcend. So, we usually start each meditation with a few minutes of stretching. The more stretching you can do the better. If all you can do is one minute of stretching, it is better than none at all. If you are in a car, train, or airport, try stretching your legs, arms and torso The Ninth Siddhi

a couple of times. If you are at home and familiar with yoga stretching, then do a few minutes of yoga. Stretching is important before practicing the Ninth Siddhi for a number of reasons. First, remember the studies done by Dr. Robert Wallace discussed in Chapter One in the section titled The Physiology of Consciousness. In his book, he cites hundreds of studies done on meditators to determine if changes in the body occur while experiencing Transcendental Being. The most interesting study found that respiratory suspension can occur for as long as one minute. That is, there is a slowing or cessation of breathing for a short period of time when transcendence is experienced. When we stretch, we are moving blood in and out of our muscles, organs, and glands. This movement of blood refreshes the tissues in our body. When stretching is combined with deep breathing, our entire body is enlivened with oxygenated blood, reducing the body’s demand on the nervous system allowing the mind to more easily transcend.
Breathing and the Body Ever wonder why accomplished meditators sit in the lotus position (meaning sitting on the floor with legs crossed) to meditate? The purpose of stretching and breathing is to prepare the body for the experience of Transcendental Awareness. By stretching and deep breathing, we oxygenate our blood, which in turn oxygenates every cell in our body. By sitting in the lotus position, we push oxygenated blood into our brain and nervous system. This creates a situation in which the body can coast for a few minutes while the mind transcends. Consequently, in addition to a few stretching exercises before practicing, we must take at least ten deep breaths. Stretching and breathing is so important to yoga enthusiasts that over the last five thousand years, practitioners of yoga have made stretching and The Ninth Siddhi

breathing a science. If you search Amazon for books on yoga you will finds hundreds of books written on stretching. This yoga science is called Asana. Breathing techniques have also been taught for millennia. This yoga science is called Pranayama. Again, if you search Amazon for yogic breathing you will find many books on specific yogic breathing techniques. However, as a beginner in the practice of the Ninth Siddhi, stretches and deep breaths will more than suffice. The entire preparation should not take more than ten minutes.
Using Laxmi’s Mantra Now that you have oxygenated and enlivened all the cells in your muscles, organs, and glands, you are ready to start meditating. Remember, it’s important to get comfortable. If you are meditating in a car, train, airport, or any place where it is difficult to get really comfortable, just do as well as you can do with the circumstances presented to you. Over the years, I have heard of the most outrageous meditating conditions. Most involve rambunctious children. Stay loving and try to make a game of it! When my son Joe was about six or seven years old he would wait for me to meditate before going to work and insist on getting in my lap. It did not matter where I tried to meditate - bedroom, basement, or garage – he had a knack for finding me. Finally, I asked him why he wanted my attention when I was meditating. He said he wanted to meditate like Dad. So, I told him to sit quietly and listen to his breath. After about 15 seconds, he said, “Dad this is no fun at all.” He never bothered me again. Assuming you have the opportunity to get comfortable, try to cross your legs and sit up straight. Crossing your legs will squeeze blood out of your legs and make more oxygenated blood available to your The Ninth Siddhi

brain and nervous system. Sitting up straight will allow the proper flow of Prana (breath) through your body, all of which encourages transcendence. If you’re in bed just get comfortable. Also, keep a pen and paper nearby. You will need to write down the numbers quickly after meditating. If you can, write them down immediately. Start the sound file. You will hear Laxmi’s Mantra. Say it under your breath or out loud at first. Repeating the Mantra in your mind produces the same effect. If your mind wanders, to different topics, gently and effortlessly bring your attention back to the Mantra. Do not try too hard to stay with the Mantra. The act of trying will ensure failure. The process should be effortless. The fact that your mind wanders is part of the process. Gently bring your attention back to the Mantra. This is the first part of the meditation cycle. After fifteen or twenty minutes the intention setting script will begin. The most important point I can make is to gently and effortlessly come back to the Mantra when your mind wanders. No effort is necessary. Your mind, helped by the vibration of the Mantra, will naturally drift to the love, bliss and peace of Transcendental Being if you allow it. The intention script should be experienced as a wonderful lucid dream. Try to keep in mind that the Source of Thought does not respond to words, only to pictures you form in your mind. Try to remember that it is the mind pictures or visualizations that are important. Speaking to the Source of Thought is wasted energy. Mind pictures or visualizations are substantially more powerful. Also, in dream land anything is possible. Why walk when we can fly. The only limit to our dreams is our imagination. So, we often express ourselves through the various Siddhis (flying, clairvoyance, manifesting anything we desire, healing, and invisibility). Perhaps, you will find the Goddess, Sage, or Mystic that will show you the lottery numbers in the proper lottery sequence. The best way I can The Ninth Siddhi

describe obtaining the numbers, is to allow yourself to be open to the sage, etc. It is different for everyone. In the Ninth Siddhi Practice, setting an energized intention is the most critical element for success. You must allow the numbers to be given to you with the intent of winning the lottery. Again, intent and emotion is critical to the process of prediction. When you are shown the numbers by a Goddess, Sage, or Mystic (a metaphor of the Source of Thought) you absolutely must do so with visualizations of success, and you must combine these pictures with emotion of what it will feel like to be successful. Each initiate of the Ninth has his or her own reason for winning. It is left up to you to search your heart for the real reason you desire to be successful. Any emotion will work, but Love is the strongest. Also, the closer you can get to the Source of Thought the easier it will be to become emotional. When you first start the practice, try to think back to a situation when you felt the emotion you are trying to feel. This may help bring the emotion to mind. Then combine this emotion with a strong intent to obtain the winning lottery sequence. Again, by intent, we mean visualize yourself holding the winning ticket, driving to the outlet to receive your winnings, or using the money to help someone you love. The Mantra and the guided visualization on the sound file will guide you, but you must be proactive in creating these loving mind visualizations with intention. This is the basis of the Ninth Siddhi. Have paper and a pen handy. If you can, gently write the numbers down after they are shown to you. Try to witness this process as opposed to letting your ego get involved and pick the numbers. Allow the numbers to form. Do not try to form them. The process is very natural and effortless. No force or effort is required. You only need to allow it to happen. Above all, do not try.

Also, you will not realize how deep you have gone in your meditation. This makes it difficult to remember the numbers once you come to your senses. Like dreams we tend to forget them almost immediately. If you wait more than a few minutes the numbers will be gone. So, write them down as soon as you are able. Continue to meditate along with the sound file for a few minutes afterward. Once the Mantra on the sound file stops, very slowly open your eyes.
The Point System In the Ninth Siddhi, charting is used to verify success. When learning a super normal skill, it is most important that progress be measured using real world objective criterion. As a novice, you begin to learn this skill predicting 3 number lottery games. Once a three number game is won by predicting 3 numbers in the proper sequence, the initiate moves to 4 number games. By the time the practitioner has successfully predicted three and four number games, he/she is ready to practice in groups with others who have also honed their skills in this way. To prove to ourselves that we are not just imagining success, we use charts and a point system to verify that we really are hitting more numbers more often. That is, more often than chance would have it. We verify that we are perfecting the Ninth Siddhi.
Look at the example chart. This is a partial example of the “three number game worksheet.” The actual worksheet has room for 45 The Ninth Siddhi

plays and can be found on the Ninth Siddhi web site at www.TheNinthSiddhi.com. Below is a cut away of the chart above. Look at the top line labeled “Day Number.” This row is the number of days you have been using the charting system. “1” represents the first day. “2” represents the second day you started to chart etc. On my charts, I change the numbers to the actual dates of the drawings. I find this easier when filling in the chart with data from my tickets and numbers from the lottery drawing. The second line is labeled “Your Number.” In this row, you put in the lottery number you predicted during your meditation. We do this every day until we manifest the correct number in the proper sequence (straight). The third line is labeled “Lottery Number.” This number is the actual lottery number drawn for that day. The next line labeled “1st Number Inclusion Points” refers to the number you predicted during that day’s meditation. In our example, the first number on the first day is the number “1”. We are referring to the “1” in the number “154.” In this point system; you get 5 points if your number appears in the lottery number that was drawn. You get 10 bonus points if one of your digits is in the proper place in the number sequence. So, we compare our number “1” to the lottery number for that day. “563.” The number “1” does not appear in the first, second, or third number, and thus we get no points and ought to put a zero in that square. Next, we go to the fifth line. Again, we compare the number we predicted during our meditation to the actual lottery number, but this time we check to see if “1” is in the correct spot (the fist digit in the lottery number). It is not. The first digit in the lottery number is “5.” Again, we get no points. So, we put a zero across from the row labeled “1st Number Position Points.” Next we go to the sixth line. This row is labeled “2nd Number Inclusion Points.” We look at the second digit in the lottery number we predicted. This would be the number “5.” Again, we check to see if “5” appeared anywhere in the actual lottery number. We find that it does appear in the lottery number “563.” So, we reward ourselves with five points placed in the square labeled “2nd Number Inclusion Points.” Next we need to see if the number “5” was located in the correct spot. In our number “154” the number five is in the second spot. In the lottery number “563” the number “5” is in the first spot. So, no bonus points are earned. Points for the third number in our predicted lottery number “154,” are calculated in the same manner as the first two. The third number is “4.” A quick comparison to the actual lottery number “563” shows that “4” is not included in the actual number and consequently will not be able to get bonus points for being in the correct position. When all the points are calculated, we add them up and place the total points in the row labeled “Total Points.” The Ninth Siddhi

See if you can calculate day four. On this day, in our example, your predicted number was “531” and the actual lottery number drawn was “633.” Do you see that “5” is not included anywhere in the actual lottery number and therefore earns no points? The number “3” is included in the actual lottery number and earns five points and gets 10 bonus points for being in the second position in the actual lottery number. The third number “1” is not included in the lottery number and earns no points. So, total points for this day are 15 points. A perfect score is 45 points. When every number you predicted is included in the lottery number sequence and in the proper sequence, you will have won the lottery (straight) and will have earned the rank of initiate. Hopefully, you may even have earned some cash. Why all this point calculation? Eventually, we want to be able to calculate a 10 day moving average. Look at the “Three number game worksheet” above, not the cut out graphic, but the example that lists 15 days worth of data. Look at the last line. It is labeled “10 day Moving Average. This is the most important number in the point scoring system. To calculate this number, sum the totals for the last 10 days and divide by 10. Do this for every day once ten days of practice has been accomplished.
Charting the Points When I first started to use this points system, I simply charted the total points by day. This seemed like a reasonable thing to do. After all, we are trying to show that we are improving on a day to day basis. We need to know that we are hitting more numbers more often. But some days I received no points and other days I received up to 25 points. Still other days I would score 10 points for The Ninth Siddhi

three or four days in a row only to be followed by a day of no points. It seemed like I was improving but the data from the point system seemed to be all over the board. It wasn’t until I began to chart a ten day average that the trend became clear. It is called a moving average because only the last ten days from the current day is used. For example, given the series, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12. The first day, the numbers 1 through 10 are summed and then divided by ten. The next day, the number 2 through 11 are summed and divided by ten. The next day the numbers 3 through 12 are summed and divided by ten. And so on.

Moving averages are used in many areas of mathematics, finance, and science to smooth out chaotic data. It is used by stock analysts to pin point 3 Number Game Chart trends in stock Example 50 prices as well as 45 corporate 40 earnings. 35 Scientists use 30 moving averages 25 when analyzing 20 samples for 15 research projects. 10 A ten day moving 5 0 average is the easiest way to ascertain a trend Points 10 Day Moving Average in data that is not smooth or continuous. In the Ninth Siddhi, we chart total points, from the “3 Number Game Worksheet,” as a bar chart (See “3 Number Game Chart The Ninth Siddhi

Example” below). We chart the ten day moving average on the same chart as a line over the bars to ascertain the trend in Total Points. We look for the ten day moving average to drift upward. This would mean that we are improving our skills and that it is only a matter of time before we are successful in accurately predicting the proper number sequence. Look at the chart above. This chart is just an example to show the benefits of the Ten Day Moving Average. It is not related to the worksheet above. The bars are the daily sums, “Total Points” row, from the “3 Number Game Worksheet.” The line is the ten day moving average. See how the trend moves upward, showing improvement in your practice. This improvement is not obvious from just looking at a chart of your daily totals. On this chart, on the last day, a perfect score of 45 is obtained. If this were a real chart the practitioner would be granted the rank of Initiate and move on to 4 number games. All these charts are available on the Ninth Siddhi Website in Excel and PDF format. If you use the Excel Template all you need to do is enter your predicted lottery number and the actual lottery number, and almost every other calculation is performed for you. If you need to use the PDF file, you will need to perform the calculations by hand. When I first designed the system, I created the charts by hand. The calculations are very simple and the charting was fun. Consider coloring the bars your favorite color and use a straight edge for the ten day moving average.
My Worksheet and Chart Below is my 3 number game worksheet and chart. During this period, I used the Laxmi Mantra sound file. I practiced and played twice a day. I only bet on the evening lottery. I started practicing on March 9, 2012. In Appendix A, you will find a scan from the The Ninth Siddhi

Michigan Lottery web site listing all the winning numbers for the time I played as well as scans of my winning tickets and tickets that scored over 30. I always did 20 minutes of Asana and 5 minutes of Pranayama as preparation for meditation. I used alternate nostril Pranayama without retention. As I began to use the Ninth Siddhi technique and mantra, I was really pleased with the results. On March 13, five days after starting, I played 561 for three draws because I was going out of town and would not be able to get a ticket in Michigan. On March 13, the actual lottery number was 517, so my 561 earned 20 points. On March 14, the actual lottery number was 165, so my 561 won $41.00 winning the boxed bet. On March 15, the actual lottery number was 566, so again my 561 earned 30 points just missing hitting the number straight. On the very next day, I predicted 041, and the actual lottery number reported was 049. I was certain I would predict the actual lottery number getting all the numbers in the correct order the next day. This did not happen. Over the next few weeks, I continued to get eerily close, missing by one number many times. For example, a few days after winning the boxed bet on March 19, I played 617. The actual number was 607. On March 24, I played 606. The actual number was 609. On March 26, I played 032. The actual number was 034. On April 3, I played 368. The actual number was 365. On April 5, I played 674. The actual number was 679. On April 8, I played 107. The actual number was 101. Finally, I stopped trying and just allowed it to happen and played 370. The actual number was 370.

Go to Appendix A, review the Michigan Lottery Winning Lottery Numbers scan and the scans of the tickets that I played. I believe we can learn a lot from the first use of the Ninth Siddhi 3 number game technique. I believe I could have won quicker if I had been able to follow my own advice. Clearly, the technique was working. I was hitting more numbers more often than chance would have it. But, I was clearly blocking that last number. I felt pressure to win quickly. I was, after all, writing the book. How would it look if I was not able to win within a week or so? I allowed this pressure to effect my ego, I was trying too hard. A month had already gone by. At this point an excellent chart was not possible. As soon as the pressure to succeed was gone, on the verge of giving up, I predicted the number correctly without trying. The experience now seems like a microcosm of life. Most of us suffer from fear of failure or success or anxiety about the future. We have many reasons to not succeed in our efforts to attain wealth, prosperity, and abundance but very few reasons to succeed. As I learned, we must allow success to happen. Fear, worry, and uncertainty only get in the way. I like the way the Maharishi states these ideas. He says, “You must not be attached to the fruits of your actions.” In this way, we lessen the influence of our egos and accomplish more. This idea of effortlessness is a very difficult concept to understand, much less internalize. After all, we are told since childhood to try harder at school and sports. Try harder to improve your behavior. Try harder at love and romance. Try harder to make more money. Try harder at quitting a bad habit like smoking. We are forever trying harder to improve our lives. It is no wonder that doing something that is effortless is hard for us to do. The ego wants to hold on to its power. It will never let go. Even in the highest states The Ninth Siddhi

of awareness, our egos are present. The difference is that we identify with transcendental awareness in the higher levels of consciousness, not with our egos. We cannot be so attached to the objects of our perception or to the fruits of our actions that we block our intention for wealth and prosperity. We experience a little transcendence every time we practice the Ninth Siddhi. Getting an energized intention close to the source of thought enabled me to hit more numbers than chance would allow. However, in trying to get that last number correct, I choked. I forced it. It wasn’t until I stopped trying and allowed it to happen effortlessly that I succeeded. Much can be learned about ourSelves in this prediction endeavor. The correct numbers will come to you just like they came to me if you do not let your ego get in the way. That is, if you do not, at the last second, try. Relax and allow a life of wealth and abundance to come to you through the practice of the Ninth Siddhi. Do not try, allow. The practice is effortless. Do less, accomplish more. However, there are times in our lives when we move our minds and bodies effortlessly. From time to time, we need to reflect on these experiences and learn from them. In athletics for example, when throwing a ball or running a race, we don’t think about what we are doing, we just allow our natural ability to hold sway. When professional athletes are in the flow of the game, we say she or he has athletic grace. We see this grace exhibited not only in athletics but in many of the performing arts as well. We can tell immediately if the performance was forced or performed effortlessly. The less effort exerted, the more profound the performance. That is to say, less trying by the ego, and more influence by the spirit within us, usually leads to a more awe-inspiring performance. Most often, this experience of the spirit is felt by the most nonathletic individuals through music and song. We have all The Ninth Siddhi

moved our bodies to the tune of a rock and roll song. These tribal beats have young and old dancing and singing in an attempt to sync ourselves to these energized vibrations. The experience excites our inner self in a way only a teenager can describe. For others, it is the complexities of a string quartet that moves the spirit. The intertwining of complex themes excites us emotionally and spiritually, and we feel exulted by the experience. For others, it is a particular aria. Perhaps it’s Beethoven’s “Ah perfido,” an opera in which a young lady is betrayed by her lover. At first, she pleads that the Gods punish him brutally. Later, she pleads for mercy for his Soul. In all these examples, it is music or sound vibrations that encourage us to experience a sense of Presence or inner joy. Laxmi’s Mantra is less subtle, but all are enjoyed and appreciated effortlessly. For me personally, it is usually a more natural experience that brings about this sense of inner joy. For example, this spring I found myself in the Ausable River in northern Michigan wearing waist high waders. I had tucked myself underneath a cedar tree and intended to use a fish hook covered with deer hair and thread to catch a trout. I had tied this imitation of a Caddis fly for this specific spot on the river and had high expectations. The river was heavy with water and I could barely keep my balance as the raging water swept between my legs. I crudely side-armed my conglomeration under the cedar branches and watched as it floated down the river within two inches of a log I targeted. Just as I intended, a trout slashed at the water and took my imitation Caddis. I got the fish to the net and as I carefully removed the barbless hook, without actually touching the fish lest I remove its protective bacterial coating, I heard in the cedar directly over my head the melodious sound of a song bird. This natural sound caused an overwhelming sense of Presence within me. The song (vibrations) of a small white throated sparrow caused my eyes to swell up with tears of joy and bliss. and wondrously mysterious. Still, I had enough ego presence to shy away from my son who was fishing a few riffles down river. I did not want him to see how small the fish was. As I stood to meet his gaze, he was about to ask me a question but stopped in midsentence once he saw my smile. Nothing needed to be said. I believe that the song of the White Throated Sparrow acted as a kind of day time Mantra and encouraged a sense of Transcendence within my heart and mind. And of course, I was not trying to transcend, only catch a trout. The whole experience was effortless. The same is true when you are meditating and predicting a lottery win. No effort is required. proper lottery numbers in any order to grow in rank. Usually, this is known as a boxed bet. Initiates begin work on four number games with a new Mantra. The 4 number game Mantra is known as Arjuna’s Mantra. Arjuna is a primary character in the Bhagavad-Gita. For most of the Bhagavad-Gita, Arjuna sits next to Krishna and receives instruction on living an integrated life. Arjuna is the hero in this epic tale of two opposing armies ready to fight. Throughout the Gita, the armies never quite seem to enter into battle. Most of the Gita is Krishna’s answers to Arjuna’s questions regarding higher states of consciousness, suffering, and eternal life. Nonetheless, Arjuna is celebrated for his success in conquering his senses and achieving higher levels of consciousness through the experience of Transcendental Being. Arjuna’s Mantra also uses metaphors for wealth, abundance, and prosperity and is generally used to win games of chance. Arjuna’s mantra in English writing looks like this: Om Shree Vijaya Lakshmi ye Namaha To pronounce it, it sounds like: Ohm Shree Vejaya Lak-sme-aye Nemaha Let’s break it down into its parts: Om - Begins most mantras and is used as a sacred exclamation. It precedes traditional mantras. Shree – Shows respect and esteem. Vijaya – Another name for Arjuna which pinpoints his quality to conquer and obtain.

Lakshmi – Similar to Laxmi used in Laxmi’s Mantra. This is a direct reference to wealth and abundance brought about through good fortune and games of chance Ye – to generate Namaha – This word is said to reverse the outward flow of mind (toward the senses) inward toward Transcendental Awareness. This Manta is used on the sound file in the same manner as the Laxmi’s sound file. After about 15 minutes, a visualization narrative is used to set a winning intention close to the Source of Thought. As an initiate, try to spend more time preparing to meditate. The more time you spend performing Asanas, the more relaxed your body will be, and the closer your meditation will take you to the Source of Thought. If you have the funds, consider purchasing a book on Yoga Asana. Pick a few of the positions that look like fun and do these before every practice. Also, as an initiate, breathing becomes more important. To induce transcendence, your blood must be oxygenated. This well oxygenated blood will enliven every cell in your body. With the body taken care of, the mind will naturally move toward bliss, joy, and love emanating from Transcendental Being. As you get closer and closer to Transcendental Awareness, your intentions will get stronger and stronger. As you may now have noticed, each meditation leaves behind a little more Loving Energy. In the tradition section, we called this the halo effect. So, each time we practice, it gets a little easier to get close to the Source, and each meditation brings a little more energy to the intention.

I practiced twice a day and played two numbers every day in the evening lottery. I started practice on May 10, 2012 and won the lottery with a “2-way bet” on July 1, 2012. My four game chart is very similar to my three game chart. After two days, I began to predict three out of four numbers regularly. That is, for the next six days, I predicted three out of four numbers five times. Three days after starting the practice on May 12, I predicted 4291. This was the third time I had used Arjuna’s Mantra and I received the numbers quite vividly. It was an awe-inspiring prediction. I was absolutely positive I had the right number. The actual lottery number for that day was 4296. On the next day, I predicted 8240 when the actual lottery number was 8014. I was really upset now because I thought I may have seen that “2” instead of the “1.” I was determined not to let it discourage me. The next day on May 14, The Ninth Siddhi

2012, I predicted 6320. The actual number was 1236. I got the number backwards again. Just like I had done in the three number game. Maybe I was too old. Why did I think I could do this at the age of 66? The very next day, I had another vivid prediction experience and predicted 3352. The actual number was 3838. Over the next two days, I felt sure I would win. On May 16, 2012, I predicted 0189. The actual number was 4980. I had correctly predicted three numbers. On May 17th, I predicted 1856. The actual number was 1657. Again, I vividly visualized three correct numbers. The last number 1856, precipitated my fall from grace. I seriously began to doubt myself. I heard myself thinking, “…what in the world makes you think you can predict one number out of 10,000 numbers?” Also, “you’re too old” came to mind more than once. Look at the chart and you will see the depths of my despair. I needed guidance. I reflected on the Mantra I was repeating twice a day for twenty minutes. As the story goes, Arjuna, a champion archer, was overcome by doubt, sorrow, and despair, while in the middle of battle. So overcome with doubt as to which action to take, he asked his charioteer, Krishna for guidance. It is written that Krishna told Arjuna to, “…do your duty to the best of your ability without worrying about the results.” This is the same lesson we learned in the last chapter. Do not become so attached to the fruits of your actions that you block the very thing you desire to manifest. So I did. I practiced everyday without complaining about how long it was taking to win. I stopped blaming myself for near misses. I began to practice for the sake of practicing. I began to realize the benefits that accrue to those that practice the Ninth Siddhi. On July 1, 2012, I won the four number game. I predicted 7702. The actual lottery number was 7720. I won over $200.00. Of course, if I had The Ninth Siddhi

switched the “0” and the “2” around, I would have won over $2,000.00. I’m not complaining. I honestly believe that all of us will have these inner struggles as we move through the Ninth Siddhi ranks and integrate this super normal skill into our lives. Soldier of Peace Once you have successfully predicted all 4 numbers in the 4 Number Lottery game, you will have achieved the rank of Soldier of Peace. This is a great achievement. You have developed within yourself a super normal skill. You have an affinity for yoga Siddhis, prediction, and prophecy. The world of orthodox thinking calls your talent super normal, but we learned that all people have this latent ability. Our job was only to practice and trust that ancient knowledge and modern scientific findings would help develop this talent inherent in everyone. Your rank of Soldier allows you to practice in a group environment with other Soldiers who have shown an affinity for the Ninth Siddhi. It is through groups that we tackle the much more difficult task of 5 and 6 number games.

The Mega Games Working in Groups We work in groups to predict 5 and 6 number games to take advantage of the Super Radiance Effect. If you remember from the chapter titled Bhagavad-Gita, in the section named The Maharishi Effect, we discussed various studies that indicated that a group of meditators can have a marked influence on the localized society. Many studies were cited, and most used social indices to determine if groups of meditators were reducing crime rates or influencing The Ninth Siddhi

world stock markets, etc. The influence that group meditation has on localized society became known as the Maharishi Effect. It is believed by scientists that the Maharishi Effect is the result of increased brain wave coherence among the participants meditating in the group. It is thought that this increased coherence does not increase by the number of meditators, but increases geometrically by a factor of 10,000. This number was not reached indiscriminately. Scientists liken brain wave coherence to light energy. So, the rationale for group meditations having 10,000 times the manifesting energy came from physicists working with other coherent effects as seen in the laser. A laser is ordinary light, but when each photon wave particle vibrates in perfect unity with another, the ordinary light becomes extremely powerful. It is this perfect unity or coherence that energizes light and creates the laser effect. Scientists have been able to measure this increased energy too. They have reported that the energy level increases by a factor of 100 squared or 10,000 times. So, it is believed that by meditating in groups, our meditation intentions become more powerful. If group meditations are powerful enough to reduce crime in cities, they are powerful enough to predict/Manifest a winning lottery number. Working in groups gives practitioners of the Ninth Siddhi a 100 squared advantage over practicing individually. The Maharishi explained the Super Radiance Effect like this: “The field of pure consciousness – the Source of Thought – is a nonlocalized field of infinite correlation. It is beyond time and space. Thus, an impulse anywhere in the field of pure consciousness is an impulse everywhere. Since we all share the same field of collective consciousness – pure consciousness – one individual transcending the surface level or getting close to the Transcendent, will generate coherence and orderliness in the entire group.” If many in the

group have an affinity for prediction and prophecy, the group becomes a very powerful predictive entity.
Mary’s Lullaby Analyzed As an example of the manifestation power of an energized intention set close to the Source of Thought by a group, let’s analyze and dissect the biblical example of Mary Magdalene. According to the Gnostic Gospels of Thomas, as well as the Gospels of Mary and Phillip, Mary Magdalene was a favored apostle and companion of Christ. Her favored status offended the non-Gnostic apostles and they asked Christ, “Why do you love her more than all of us” (See chapter titled “Globalization of Being” the section titled “A Lullaby for Mary”). As we know, this misunderstanding caused a war against all women, and resulted in jealousies and resentments from the nonGnostic apostles. Eventually, the feud culminated into the Court of Inquisition and the death of hundreds of thousands of radiant spirits. If we view Christ as perfect in all major and minor Siddhis, his ego may have been that of a man but his consciousness was in perfect harmony with the Source of Thought. This would mean that he radiated a very powerful Super Radiance Effect. Others around him would be able to feel the effects of this radiance as significant brain wave coherence. This experience would give their intentions powerful manifesting qualities. While probably not purposely, the group of non-Gnostic apostles set an energized intention close to the Source of Thought (Christ). They probably unknowingly energized this intention with emotion. Unfortunately, the energized emotion was full of negative forces like resentment, jealousies, and enviousness. These negative energized intentions resulted in hundreds of thousands of woman being killed. These killings were brutal, bloody, and torturous, often times administered in public. It was as if the Brotherhood of the Cross were trying to exorcise the The Ninth Siddhi

natural gifts of healing and prophecy out of the souls of these talented women. Such was the agony and passion of Mary. Nonetheless, this biblical example serves to show the power of an energized intention set close to the Source of Thought by a group.
Ninth Siddhi Groups Thus, the practice of the Craft is clear. Ninth Siddhi soldiers work in groups to successfully win the large prizes offered by modern lotteries. We need to take advantage of the Super Radiance Effect. Unfortunately, even in a world of social media and broad band communication, with practitioners located around the world, group meditation is going to be problematic. Each group needs to be playing the same lottery and group members need to meditate at the same time of day to take advantage of the Super Radiance Effect. In addition, each group member should be familiar with other members in the group and be able to communicate their predicted numbers daily. Although it will be difficult to arrange practitioners into ideal groups that are in the same time zones and have similar work hours, Ninth Siddhi administrators will attempt to get as close to the ideal as possible. As more initiates move into the rank of Soldiers, individuals will be moved from group to group until all the ideals are realized.
The Individual Rating Worksheet See below an example of an Individual Rating Worksheet. Each day the group member will fill in his or her own predicted numbers. The days are grouped together according to the lottery schedule. In the USA, a good six number game to play is Powerball. Powerball is a six number game with large jackpots and large secondary prizes for correctly predicting 5 numbers.

The downside to the game is its cost. To get large secondary prizes, the cost of a ticket is $2.00. If you predict a number to play in the next lottery every day, the monthly cost is cumbersome. So, be sure to play within your budget. If you can only buy one ticket, play the lottery number calculated on the day of the lottery.

Each day the group member inputs his or her lottery number into the Individual Rating Worksheet (See above). As you can see, the days are organized by the actual day of the lottery. If a lottery is held on Wednesdays and Saturdays, then Sundays through Wednesday are grouped together, as are Thursdays through Saturdays. Points are earned by how many numbers were correctly predicted in the lottery. 10 points are earned for each correct lottery number predicted in the next lottery. For example, Mary earned 80 points during the period February 5th through February 8th. For the next lottery, she earned another 80 points, for the following Thursday through Saturday, February 9th through February 11th. Points are added up at the end of four lotteries and divided by 4. The resulting number is the individual member’s rating for the last four lotteries. At the end of the next lottery, points are added up for the last four lotteries and a new rating is assigned. They are: 26, 25, 35, and 2. However, we need five numbers, plus the Powerball number, to complete the play slip for the Powerball Daily Group Worksheet Game. However, the Powerball number needs to be given special consideration. In most Powerball type games the numbers available on the play slip for the first five numbers are different from the numbers available for the Powerball. For example, in the USA’s Powerball game, the numbers 1 through 59 are available numbers for the first five numbers. The Powerball number is chosen from the numbers 1 through 35. So if the Powerball is not predicted by doubles, then the highest rated player’s Powerball number is used. The Ninth Siddhi

Also, if six doubles are present but the sixth number is higher than that allowed by the Powerball game, then again the highest rated player’s Powerball number is used. See the Daily Group Worksheet above, four doubles are chosen, 32 is chosen to complete the first five numbers, and the Powerball is chosen from the highest rated player. Consequently, we would play the number 9 as the Powerball number. Now! Let’s look at a different example (See the Daily Group Worksheet dated Feb 20). What happens when we have more than six doubles? In the Daily Group Worksheet dated February 20, seven doubles are predicted. In this case, we use the first six doubles to fill out the number to be played. Since the Powerball number, the sixth predicted number, is a Chart for Five Number Games number that is within the numbers Combinations in allowed for the Powerball number, we Matrix a Five Number use it as the Powerball number. As an 18 8568 individual option, the Ninth Siddhi makes available matrices or a matrix for these situations. These matrices may be used at the discretion of the individual practitioner depending on the practitioner’s budget.
Working with Matrices? A matrix is a rectangular arrangement of numbers. For our The Ninth Siddhi

purposes, the rectangular arrangements are a combination of numbers that were generated from the Daily Group Worksheet. We attempt to mathematically arrange the matrix numbers (must be more than six) into combinations that are more likely to lead to wins of second or third tier prizes if we do not win the jackpot. The Ninth Siddhi Strategy, when the amount of numbers generated by the Daily Group Worksheet is larger than six, not counting the Powerball, is to use complete and partial game matrices to play as many meaningful combinations as possible. In this system, we always combine the first five numbers from the first doubles line with the second doubles line. These numbers become our number sequence, which is used in the Matrix. We never add the predicted Powerball number to the Matrix. Once the Powerball number is established it never changes
Why use a Matrix A matrix is a convenient way to organize combinations of numbers generated by the Double + Lines located on the Daily Group Worksheet. When the numbers generated by doubles (not counting the Powerball) are low, say six or seven, we can play every combination. See the chart listing combinations for five number games plus the Powerball. For example, if we ended up with six numbers not including the Powerball, like we did in the example above, and wanted to play every combination, we would want to play 6 games because there are six ways to organize six numbers into five number games. We would add the Powerball to make it a six number game. We would use the same Powerball number in each game played. Remember, we never use the Powerball number in a Matrix. If we ended up with 7 Doubles, not including the Powerball number, and wanted to play every combination, we would have to play 21 games because there are 21 ways to organize 7 numbers into five number games (See chart for five number games above). But as you can see from the chart, the number of combinations grows quickly. For example, if we wanted to play every five number combination using ten numbers we would have to play 252 games. This number of games is too expensive to play for many Ninth Siddhi practitioners. So, we use combinations of the 252 games that have the highest probability of hitting second and third prize money if we do not hit the jackpot. If every combination is calculated in a matrix, we call this matrix a Complete Game Matrix. If only a few of the total number of combinations are present in the matrix, we call this matrix a Partial Game Matrix. Mostly we use Partial Games Matrices.
Complete Game Matrices Let’s use as an Complete Game Matrix Every possible five number combination using six numbers example the Feb 20 Daily Group 1 2 3 Doubl es From Works heet 4 5 6 Worksheet found Game 1 1 2 3 4 5 Powerball Game 2 1 2 3 4 6 above. To get the numbers to play from the Feb 20 Daily Group Worksheet, we simply replace the Matrix numbers (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6) with (17, 52, 35, 15, 2, and 36) in the Complete Game Matrix template above. For me, this is too high a number to play, although I probably would play a few of these combinations (See appendix B for 5 numbers to play from this 7 number complete Game Matrix, which will lead to the highest number of second and third tier prizes if the jackpot is not won). The number of games you play is up to you. Watch your budget carefully.
Partial Game Matrices

Glossary Absolute Existence
Refers to the experience of the Source of Thought as never changing in its nature. An experience not bound by time or space.
Being
To exist, to experience. To be conscious. In the Ninth Siddhi, we refer to Being as the fourth state of consciousness. An experience beyond the perceptions brought to us by our senses.
Bhagavad-Gita
A Sanskrit book, which is part of a larger treaties called the Mahabharata. In this book, Arjuna enters into a discourse with Lord Krishna. They discuss Transcendental Being, Advanced states of Consciousness, Siddhis, and other yogic topics. This book serves as the philosophical foundation for the Ninth Siddhi.
Dharma
The spiritual laws of the universe.
Gnostic
Pertaining to knowledge of the inner Self, described as Transcendental Awareness, Pure awareness, or the Source of Thought.
Gnostic Gospels
Christian scripture found in 1945 and translated by Elaine Pagels and others. Many of these gospels depict Jesus Christ as a Gnostic teacher. In these scriptures, he teaches the way to salvation is through the experience of the inner Self.

Manifest
Readily perceived by the senses. Obvious. Apparent.
Prana
According to yoga, one of the five vital breaths moving in the body. Similar to Chinese Chi. Early ascetic Christians called Prana the Blood of Christ.
Quantum Mechanics
An area of study in Physics concerning the smallest particles and waves known to exist.
Relative Existence
Refers to the world we perceive through our senses. The mundane. To experience the world as constantly changing.
Siddhi
A yogic power imparted to meditators practicing yoga meditation.
Source of Thought
A field of being known as the fourth state of consciousness, which is experienced in meditation as pure awareness. Over the years, many other names have been given to the Source of Thought. A few of these names are Transcendental Awareness, Samadhi, Bliss Consciousness, and the Unified Field.
