HOW AND WHY I AM HERE

Think about saying that when you are in a bookstore, at the supermarket, anywhere. For people who are naturally confident, it should be simple. I've seen a marked improvement in myself and the approaches that I make over the last five months since first finding mASF. The “inner demons” are still there, but I'm reframing them into slaves to my desires instead of wardens for the prison of my mind. Now that I set myself up in your eyes as a hopeless Keyboard Jockey, let me lay on the table exactly how I got here to solidify that image.

Oneitis. There was this woman.... Good for her. But still, I didn’t know that she was being honest until months later. But back to me. After she blew me out of the water (my perspective), I was angry and frustrated. She didn’t even want to connect with me at all, doesn’t she know how interesting I am? I’ve been to over ten countries in the Pacific Rim, fucked over 37 women, debated with philosophers, evacuated refugees, a loyal and trustworthy man, a beacon of honesty in a sea of lies and deception, talked suicidal people out of trying to kill themselves and hundreds of other incidents in my life that could easily be made into a season of 24! mASF lead me to Speed Seduction. That’s when I realized that Ross Jeffries is kinda creepy. And yet, almost ALL of the products out there are written by students of his, and seem to carry the same types of messages he has given but told in a different way. Interesting... I finally heard of “The Game”, borrowed a copy and read it over two days. I really enjoyed it, enough that I searched for Mystery products and posts on mASF. The Mystery Method and VAH were the first product line that I studied hardcore; I had only paid indifferent interest in SS, mainly because RJ’s presentation style was annoying. Now, and even then watching the videos, I think Mystery is a clown, however, that is only because of his peacocking and also his lack of fame as a magician that he tells many people he wants to attain. BUT! I respect his status as a PUG, and that he managed to convey the A1 A2 A3- C1 C2 C3- S1 S2 S3 process to the community. Plus he has sexy hair. Meow! (haha). No, there's some damn good nuts-and-bolts in Mystery's teachings. That's why I use MM as the yardstick that I measure other methods up to. I wanted to learn other methods, because I don’t go to bars and clubs all that often, so the MM didn’t seem like it would work in real life for me. David DeAngelo was my next mentor-to-be, or so I thought (I got sidetracked by other methods, thankfully). Since I found the “Seduction Community”, I’ve lost 40 pounds, become overall a much happier person, started working on my broken Inner Game and congruency issues, and I’m out socializing a hell of a lot more than I ever did for the last 7 years after leaving the Navy. I’ve found a fantastically diverse group of people here, in this “TRUE” secret society of pickup artists, of Fifth Columnists so to speak, hidden within the ranks of the publicly known society of pickup artists. A secret society that realizes that you must improve yourself, to get the woman that you want. That all of the patterns, openers, cube readings and such in the world is not enough, if the man is a shell filled with smoke and broken intentions.

I finally know that ONE-ITIS = An example of seeking validation in others instead of yourself. And that it is dangerous to validate your existence based on the opinion of others. I had to find mASF->MM->JM->Fifth Columnists before I finally got it, wonder how long it took others. If I'm not in it for myself, then there's no real point. A question many people in the community fail to ask themselves seriously is "WHY AM I HERE?". I mean, sure, the obvious answer people give themselves is "I want to fuck (a/more) women". But there has to be more to it than the number of women you stick your cock into. If that is simply it, then there are prostitutes all OVER the place. I went through a phase while I was in the Navy where I fucked 30 whores over a three year period, spending an average of $15 - $20 per bang. When you are overseas there's not much to do besides drink, shop and fuck. Why did I fuck all of those whores? I did it for validation of my peers and of myself, but it was mostly pointless. Towards the middle I actually started learning physical techniques from the whores that has helped me in my sexual life right now. But for most of the bangs-for-a-buck, it was just a notch on the headboard. Plus, while I desperately wanted a real relationship, long term with a woman, there was no way in hell I would put a woman through the life of a navy wife or girlfriend... I hope you are in the community for another reason. So, as you can see, the question of "WHY ARE YOU HERE?" is deeper than that if you take the time to think about it, now. My "biased" opinion is that most techniques are studied to work on the inner game issue of "I want to talk to x type of person / people, and appear y" where y can equal cool, Real™, smart, etc... Magic Bullet™. Be prepared……… I don’t have one.

Not yet at least, I’m still shaping what works best for me. Plus, I have so much Inner Game bullshit to focus on, that I don’t get out into the field and try as many sets as I should. I KJ a lot, I’ll be the first one to admit it. But to be honest with you, I’m not sure if I will ever have a definite “Diebold Method For Seducing Hot Babe 11s”. My technique is a mixture of Juggler, SS, Gunwitch and DavidX. And a little Zan (he seems interesting, but haven't had the time to research him like I should). A lot of people reading this (hopefully) are still looking around for a style or method that is congruent with who they are inside, or want to be inside. Hopefully this eBook will help steer them in a new direction to allow them to find a PUG or a method that will work them. *shrug* I make no promises. Kiss close or fuck close... depends on the context of what the person us talking about. Usually means kiss close. (also see: close, @close, # close)

@close e-mail close (also see: close, *close, # close) Turning interest on, then off, then on, etc, not necessarily at regular intervals. Alpha Male Other Guy - In reference to a situation where you are trying to close on a chick and there's direct (in-your-face) "old__dog" competition from another PUA. This is different than a cockblock because the normal disarming strategies don't work.

Anchors can also be Anchor inserted mentally (as a forward-looking mechanism, such as causing a person to recollect a feeling when they experience something in the future) or visually (such as a Self Point).

Can be used positively or negatively depending on your perceived value prior to the DHV and whether the chick is Lower DHV Value (you increase hers or reduce yours, preferably increase hers) or Higher Value (you increase yours or reduce hers, preferably increase yours). Display Low Value (action/verb) or Display(s) of Low(er) Value. An action or story which decreases your perceived value. Can be used positively or negatively depending on your perceived value prior to the DLV. AFCs fall into the trap of DLVs all the time and the main reason for a PUA to consciously DLV is if the chick's perceived value (her perception of herself) DLV is significantly lower than your perceived value and you run the risk of blowing yourself out of the set because of the disparity. I am saying: attraction before logistics. If you don't get a chick highly interested in you (g close) then no logistic in the world will help as a chick will simply not do a guy who she's not interested in. So, get & build that interest first as your primary goal, and the logistics will be secondary, sometimes she'll even figure out the logistics FOR you by suggesting contexts which seem innocent in a societal sense yet provide her with enough convenience and fluidity to allow her to relieve herself of responsibility and be able to say "it just happened". And, remember, detecting a g close is not always easy to detect, so you must always be calibrating her interest level (pay attention for IOIs, reverse-kino, close questions/comments, negated comments coming out of the blue, etc.) GF Girlfriend

But since this section is about the man himself and not the products, I have to focus. I don’t think that Lance is worthy of the PUG status that the community has given him. In his products, he gives me the vibe that he’s wearing the suit of a PUG, yet at his core he just wants a normal LTR. I know that sounds bad in the ears of a PUA, but it shows that there is some underlying integrity. That he’s playing and teaching “The Game” to help others. Or it may just be a marketing gimmick. *shrug* He’s rather easy going, and seems a little on the wishy-washy side compared to other gurus, but he does come across as someone without a lot of Inner Game issues. Average intelligence guys, guys who want a quick fuck. A club, loud bar or any venue where it’s hard to be heard. INDIRECT, CALIBRATION, INNER GAME Ability to frame and reframe easily, fast rapport building. When used by those who can’t master tonality, makes them seem very creepy. Doesn’t work well on shallow / stupid women. Also, can make you seem like a manipulating asshole if your game slips while using this.

Essentially, SS is command of communication to obtain your goal of connecting with the woman you are talking to. This product automatically gains the “Grandfather Clause” of “MUST READ”, because almost all PUGs have been students of SS, and have go their own directions taking what they could take from RJ and SS. Well... considering that SS is based heavily from NLP principles, almost all PUGs are teaching from lessons taught from NLP. Personally, I think that two things have caused the plethora of products on the market for men trying to connect with women. The first is quite obvious: MONEY. A lot of the students of Ross Jeffries probably felt that they could teach other guys how to talk and connect and seduce women, and wanted to make some cash doing it. Not all PUGs are that way, but many are. The second would be the complexity of the course. In many ways SS is to difficult for most to understand, and... considering RJ's background that's understandable. Core concepts eventually had to be watered down for the unwashed masses to integrate, and other PUGs ran madly with their own products with a watered down, warped version of what SS teaches. After all, it's always easy for the average Joe to follow some other PUG than it is to follow the SS formula that is wrapped around NLP and true understanding of communication. Understanding communication tends to be too “mental” for most people in the community, which is why they don't follow SS as hard-core as, say Mystery Method. So much of SS gets ripped off and resold as “brand spanking new” by other products that it's often refreshing to see the originators in action.

The workshops offer a more powerful and meaningful approach to the methods than what is presented in the home study DVDs. The DVDs were one of the first products that I watched, but until seeing a workshop in action I never realized what MM was perfect for. I think that the MM DVDs were watered down and made more general to sell to as wide of an audience as possible. If you think that the MM would work well for you, I would highly recommend a workshop, because you will get training and lessons that are not conveyed properly in either the Venusian Arts Handbook or the MM DVD set. The A1-3,C1-3,S1-3 model can work for anywhere, and I think it’s a great model for interaction. However, the MM, with all of it’s negs, tricks, patterns and routines is geared perfectly for strip clubs, ”hired guns”, and high status women. Yes, those same things can be used in other situations, but where the MM is most powerful is in those situations. Somehow that got removed from the DVD product to sell more copies. That would piss me off except that I’ve moved on to focus on my Inner Game more than my Outer Game. David DeAngelo is probably the most boring teacher out there. His "pick up" skills are dubious at best. However his advice has helped many people... or at least helped people that thought if they bought all of his products they would become what they needed to be.. I've avoided reading most of his materials, because I could just NOT get past his tonality. Too monotonous for me. Plus he advocates lying, as well as "cocky and funny" which tends to bruise egos and isn't my style when I first meet people. I only bust balls after I let the other person bust mine and I know they can take it. :) David DeAngelo is a gatekeeper. But what is beyond the gate is not usually of his own creation. Hence lots of “guest speakers” at his seminars. DYD is an integration of other methods and ideas as well as a gateway to introduce AFCs to other PUGs.

Take the major methods, a little bit of NLP, a little of MM, some DYD, lots of mASF field reports and articles. Mix in some glam, a silver spoon background. Just a dash of common sense. Stir well. Oh, and good grooming tips. Tries to be broad and all encompassing, considering the cost it’s nice of Style to do that. Like Mystery Method, this product is geared for those who want the “rock / movie star” image of pick-up. The section with Steve Piccus and Hypnotica is interesting, and has some good info for inner game. Also the in-field videos, even if illegal, are useful even if this method isn’t right for you. They are real (enough), and are common scenes from bars. Granted they aren’t videos where the guys blow the women’s panties off, but they are realistic. A very well put together product. And marketed VERY well. But, nothing new in here. Not worth the price, sadly.

DoctorGrand summed it up better than I could: Somehow I am under the impression that Neil and Lisa were never really dating. Lisa was a marketing tool, it always seemed pretty obvious. She was with him at all his book signings, tv shows, etc... Neil just needed a good ending for "The Game". And what could've been better than him leaving the community, in order to be with his newly found "Ms Right"? Everything else would've made him look like a schmuck. If you re-read the book, you'll notice that Neil makes the community look really bad towards the ending of it, and with him leaving the community for a woman, he's setting himself up to be the one and only true "hero". I can’t really do an objective review of the Pickup 101 products. I could try, but my bias for them would be apparent. I really do have a soft spot in my heart for Lance and the guys at Pickup 101. Yes it’s not hardcore oh-my-fucking-gods-sure-fire-pussy-catching material, but it’s great material for improving your social interaction. Their “Working the Room” product = pure fucking gold. And I’m looking forward to watching the body language product, as the bootleg “Body Language” product, while poorly put together, was filled with great points that helped me address some of my body language issues. I use it when I go out socializing at bars, and it works great. I've used the “You got a purdy mouth” opener, and it definitely gets laughter. And weird looks. The kino product is helpful and recommended for those who were taught to never touch people growing up. Overall, a good set of products, worth their cost.

And yes, A-C-S can be applied to any interaction, most of the tips given in MM deal with night game. Overall a great product, and has some great instructors.

Pretty much an allin-one package, without need of secondary products. This product is something that I recommend to guys who are put off by the hype, lies and marketing of other “PUGs” such as DeAngelo and Jeffries. Tyler Durden said far better than I could...: ... BUT, OTOH, there is a TIME AND PLACE for EVERYTHING. And MM and SS are NOT the best methods in certain scenarios. In many cases, they are OVERKILL. And, I DO AGREE with Gunwitch, in his assessment that in certain scenarios they can cause the HB to HOLD OUT on sex, because she likes you so much and wants to establish value for herself by holding out. (meanwhile she fucks her daddy's pool man). Trust me. If a chick is ALREADY in a sexual state, going into routines will BREAK it. (a case of this was recently seen in twentysix's recent unfortunate fuckup report, IMO) An example of this, from my own experience, was the MILF that everybody was so upset that I didn't fuck, but who I succesfully PU'ed. In her case, I used PURE Gunwitch Method, and TRUST ME, it W-O-R-K-E-D. Tyler has received a lot of flak from other PUGs in the past that would steer some people away from him and Real Social Dynamics. However, there is only so many methods, besides what other PUGs would have you believe, and presentation and coherences is an important factor to making an effective change in your social interactions. RSD has done a great job of integrating various methods and tactics together into a cohesive package. Also, Tyler and his company seems to have been changing in recent months to reflect introspection towards what has been taught in the past, and possible there is a chance that there is some gold to be gleaned.

I would at first advise this product to other people if you are trying to strengthen your “Inner Game”. However, since it is VERY strong Inner Game, it isn't something that is accessible for a large portion of the community. Also, the other thing that prevents me from advocating this is that it does promote lying if needed. It's stressed in this product (not overtly, but still) that the goal is to fuck your target. If that's your only goal, it should work well for you. Beyond that, well, there is a good chance your lies will catch up with you, as with any product. Being an honest man, naturally I have problems with any method that advocates lying to accomplish your goal. However, and sadly, most men in the community are having a problem connecting with women on both an emotional level and on a physical level and will resort to ANYTHING to make a connection. I won't pass judgment on that, but in the long run with a LTR, any lies that you say will tend to snowball. You might be better off blending the inner game content from this product with Charisma Arts (Juggler Method).
