Quantitative research uses measurable data to formulate facts and uncover patterns in research. Quantitative Data collection methods are much more structured than Qualitative Qualit ative data collection methods. Quantitative Research has its different significance. Below are some of the most common importance of Quantitative Research:
It is more steadfast and unbiased. It uses statistics to take a broad view of a finding or study. It often often narrow down a complex problem to a limited number of variables. It gazes at associations between variables and can create cause and effect in highly controlled conditions. It tests theories or hypotheses.
It assumes that aon sample is representative of the population. Little subjectivity the part of a researcher. It is less detailed than qualitative data and it may miss a desired response from the participant.
As we may see on the given statements, statements, we should reach all of the importance given for us to have a great and tremendous Quantitative Research. If we were not able to follow all of these, we will not be having a wonderful product. Quantitative data collection methods include various surveys – online surveys, paper surveys, mobile surveys and kiosk surveys, face-to-face interviews, telephone interviews, longitudinal studies, website inceptors, online polls, and systematic observation.
