T!e early *,6s saw and witnessed t!e end of political crisis and at its time organi7ed labour w!ic! was put into t!e coffin during t!e civil war was once released free its dilemma of w!et!er or not to forget industrial action in t!e life rest national security. 8it! t!e civil war9 labour militate its demand for improvement in t!e wage structure and ot!er condition of employment t!roug!out t!e country. 8orkers protest coupled wit! t!e government gravening reali7ation of t!e poor  economic state of t!e working class ultimately led to t!e establis!ment of  certain commissions like t!e Adebo commission. "ince 1:*,9 to t!e present time9 workers demand !ave increased t!e number of strike action as management could not satisfy t!e needs of  employees in t!e face of economic recession.
