Ok so this month I want you to get used to hanging everyday as well as continuing with your Stage 1 stretches from last month. So/In the next 30 days you will be doing all the stretches from last month plus 6 minutes of hanging It doesn’t matter what kind of grip or whether you have to bend you legs slightly in order to be able to hang I really just want to get the hanging into your daily habits.

Ideally it would be perfect if you could do 6 one minute hangs with one minute rests in-between. So that’s a total exercise time of 12 minutes.

However the hanging is harder than it looks. For those of you who lack slightly in upper body strength then you may take longer then 12 minutes in order to get your total hang time of 6 minutes. It doesn’t matter how you spread it out but you should really try and push yourself to hang on as long as possible. Usually your first hang is the longest as you have full energy and your body is fresh. But you will find it gets harder the more times you do it.
Just take as long as you need (resting between hangs) to complete the full 6 minutes. By the end of the 30 days you will be on track to do the hanging in 12 minutes with 1 minute rests between each hang. You will be doing 1 hanging session per day The session must be after 8 hours of waking up. For example/if you wake up at 06:00am you can do the hanging anytime after 02:00pm

Also don’t forget that you can also use weight straps which can be brought from most sports shops or online. These really help you to maintain your grip as they wrap around your wrists for extra support.
