FADE ON IN -- INT. A SMALL OFFICE CREDITS START TO ROLL A young woman walks through the office to meet her client - ANA, woman in her late twenties. We see ANA’S engagement ring as they shake hands. The office woman shows her an envelope. ANA opens the envelope and looks at the invitations for the wedding. CUT TO

INT. RESTAURANT. ANA is looking at several menus and talking to the manager. Another employee of the restaurant presents different sheets for tables. CUT TO

INT. WEDDING DRESSES STORE. ANA is trying a wedding dress at a store. The saleswoman takes the last measures. CUT TO

EXT. FLOWER SHOP. ANA walks though a long lane of flowers and talks to the flower person. Occasionally she stops to smell a flower. At the end of the lane there is a car waiting. She parts with the flower person and moves to the car. CUT TO

INT. CAR. VASIL (Looks at her as she closes the door.) Is everything OK honey? ANA (Ana kisses Vasil on his cheek.) Everything is great. Let’s go talk with the band. CUT TO

EXT. CAR. AS THE CAR TAKES OF OFF - CREDITS COME TO AN END. CUT TO

INT. BAR. CLOSE UP OF MARJANCHO as he takes a sip from his coffee. He is a greasy looking guy with long hair three day beard and unbuttoned shirt, PULL BACK TO REVEAL ANA AND VASIL sitting on the same table with him. MARJANCHO puts his mug down on the table. MARJANCHO Yes. We are available to play on the twentieth. ANA Do you have your own repertoire? MARJANCHO Sure we do. We play all the time. VASIL Can we give any suggestions? MARJANCHO (He makes a nod.) Bring a list. Whatever you choose, we’ll play. MARJANCHO takes another sip from his coffee. CUT TO

EXT. YARD STOJAN is mowing the lawn. We see the house in the background. He is bald and wearing a sleeveless t-shirt. ANA approaches slowly. He sees her and turns off the machine. ANA We talked with the musician. STOJAN He has a band, right? ANA He says he does. They performed on many weddings so far.

STOJAN So, they know the folk dances, right? ANA They can play a couple of those. STOJAN Couple? There are rules about this things. I’m not marrying my little girl everyday. ANA We must think of all guests dad. CUT TO 9
EXT. RIVERBANK VASIL AND MARKO ARE RUNNING. Marko is dressed in a pretty fancy outfit - not the usual clothes one would use for running. MARKO Trumpets and everything? VASIL I don’t know. MARKO Come on man. You have to dance on the table. VASIL stops to take a breath. VASIL On the table? MARKO I hope You aren’t planning to remain sober on your wedding? VASIL No, but dancing on the table? MARKO It will come to you when you’ll hear the music. MARKO raises his hands like he is dancing. VASIL Let’s go.

MARKO Hey... I’m not your best man for nothing. They resume running. CUT TO 10
INT. APPARTMENT - LIVING ROOM ANA is talking on the phone. ANA I know. We should have some romantic music to dance to... Tango maybe. My mom will like it too. Yes, love songs, even if they do it without singing... Sound of door opening. VASIL (V.O.) I’m back honey. ANA (Puts her hand on the phone.) I’m on the phone. CUT TO

INT. BEDROOM ANA AND VASIL ARE LYING ON THE BED. ANA Marko is crazy. VASIL We should really come up with some arrangement for the music... ANA Folk music at the beginning, will make parents and relatives happy, they will dance and then sit at the table all night. VASIL I don’t think your father will give up that easily.

ANA He’ll be OK. He can dance with mom... a waltz or tango afterward. VASIL And leave the trumpets for the end? ANA For whoever lasts until the end. VASIL Marko will try get me on the table for sure. CUT TO 12
INT. RESTAURANT. EVENING. TWO WEEKS LATER The typical ceremonial wedding music comes to an end as ANA and VASIL move through the crowd towards the center table. Applause mixes with the music. MARKO, the best man, is about to propose a toast. CUT TO

THE SCENE WHERE THE BAND IS. A man walking like he is drunk, dances around the stage and comes to MARJANCHO. He gives him a 100 EUR bill. THE MAN Play it. Play my song. MARJANCHO makes a nod and the music starts. CUT TO
