TfL Staff Travel Facilities on National Rail

Transport for London (TfL) Staff Travel Facilities on National Rail Active and retired staff (including a nominee and dependent children) employed by Transport for London (TfL) prior to 1st April 1996 enjoy free and privilege rate travel facilities on National Rail services as detailed below. These facilities are covered by the 1999 Agreement between Transport for London and Rail Staff Travel Ltd --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------1. Entitlement to free travel facilities Holders of TfL issued Staff Oyster cards, including active and retired staff and staff nominees with a supporting Privilege Ticket Authority Card (PTAC) which includes the National Rail ‘double arrow’ logo see images on page 2 - are entitled to free unrestricted travel on the following services On ALL London Overground services On ALL National Rail services (and at intermediate stations) between:Amersham and London Marylebone Finsbury Park and Moorgate (via Drayton Park) Stratford and London Liverpool Street Kentish Town and Elephant & Castle Kentish Town and London Bridge Upminster and Fenchurch Street (but not valid between Barking and Stratford on services to/from Liverpool Street) Watford Junction and Euston ( including travel on Virgin Trains services when used in conjunction with a standard class season ticket valid beyond Watford Junction, e.g. a valid ‘point-to-point’ season between Milton Keynes and Watford Junction.)

Entitlement to Privilege Ticket facilities Holders of TfL issued Staff Oyster cards, including active and retired staff and staff nominees with a supporting Privilege Ticket Authority Card (PTAC) which includes the National Rail ‘double arrow’ logo see images on page 2 – are entitled to purchase Privilege Rate discounted tickets for travel on National Rail services on the same basis, and subject to the same restrictions and conditions, as staff with Rail Staff Travel (RSTL) Privilege Ticket facilities. ADDITIONAL NOTES 1. Holders of PTACs with just the TfL Roundel can purchase Privilege Rate tickets for travel on London Overground, Tube and DLR services only. 2. Privilege Season Ticket Application forms for travel on National Rail services must be authorised by TfL Staff Travel or an appropriate manager. 3. Day or Period Travelcards are NOT available at Privilege discount rates for any staff, nominees or dependents. 4. Bus Operator and Bus Operator Nominee Staff Oyster cards are valid for free travel on London Overground services ONLY
