Online Aptitude Examination 1
Project Overview: This project assesses students by conducting online aptitude objectives tests. The tests would be highly customized. This project will enable educational institutes to conduct test and have automated checking of answers based on the response by the candidates. The project allows administrator to create their own tests. It would enable educational institutes to perform tests, quiz and create feedback forms. It asks administrator to create his/her set of questions. The result of the response would be available to the administrator of the question set. Further the set/result would be displayed to system of the student. This project would be helpful for creating practice tests, say for educational institutes and as a feedback form.
Purpose:
Response by the candidates will be checked automatically and instantly. Online aptitude examination will reduce the hectic job of the assessing the answers given by the candidates. Being an integrated Online Aptitude Examination System. It will reduce paper work. Can generate various reports almost instantly when and where requires.
Scope: This project would be very useful for educational institutes where regular aptitude evaluation of students is required. Further it can be useful for any use that requires feedback based on objective type responses.

Description User mostly a student who will appear for the aptitude examination. Super User, is the one who creates new tests and manages databases etc.
Functional or specific Requirements: Required software is for the conducting online “Objectives” type examination and providing immediate results. The system should satisfy the following requirements:-

Authorizing and Authenticated user based on username and password. Recording candidate’s response to every question. Checking whether the given response is correct or not. Keeping history of test taken by the user.

Client Side Hardware, 1. Hardware recommended by respective client’s Operating System and Web Browser. 2. Communication hardware to communicate the server.

Assumption and Dependency: 1. Username and password are correct. 2. Administrator has the authority to add/delete tests.
Non-functional requirements:
System should be able to handle multiple users. Database updating should follow transaction processing to avoid data inconsistency.
Security:
Administrator should have the highest authority to edit/delete/create database. Students can only view the test records.
Critical data like password should be kept safe.

Conclusion: Online aptitude tests will help people especially students to get easy access to quality aptitude questions. Every test is divided into different sections like Mathematics, Vocabulary and General Knowledge .User can choose any test according to his need or in which section he/she has problems. Every question will be evaluated then and there and the user will be provided with the correct option for the wrong answer.
