Areas of Expertise Program Management:  Supervised three annual maritime resupply operations for the strategic Early Warning System at Thule AFB, Greenland. RESULT: 100% of programmatic milestones and budget objectives were met.  Subject Matter Expert (SME) to the Pentagon Air Staff, briefing multi-nation military personnel onsite, on logistics, manpower, and training requirements required to support deployed weapon systems. RESULT: Deployment of weapon systems were successfully concluded. Strategic Planning:  As Chief Logistics and Transportation Officer at Tactical Air Command HQ, developed contingency support plans for the movement of fighter aircraft and support equipment from CONUS locations to worldwide locations within a 72 hour period. RESULT: Deployed weapon systems achieved all mission objectives on time and within budget.  Provided planning assistance to the Pentagon Air Staff, for the movement of Missile Defense Agency (MDA) assets to worldwide locations. RESULT: Met all deployment timelines and cost objectives. Supply Chain Operations and Management:  Established a refurbishment and JIT operation for overhaul of critical high-value valve systems for a petro-chemical customer. RESULT: Saved the customer $500k per year in refurbishment costs.  Designed and implemented a Material Management System for NASA‘s satellite programs. RESULT: Estimated saving of over $1.0 million annually for current and future satellite systems. Organizational Leadership:  Aircraft Maintenance Officer for an Air Force Wing of 75+ fighter aircraft with direct oversight of all aircraft maintenance operations. RESULT: Reorganized manpower and supply support to meet sortie levels improving the Wing operational readiness level from 85% to 92 % in less than 30 days.  Commanded an Air Force EOD Training Detachment with student through-put of 200+ students/year and a dropout rate of 40%. Coordinated and provided oversight of deployment of Aegis missile systems and support equipment, from U.S. manufacturers to locations in Alaska and Qatar. Took sabbatical to finish dissertation. DMD Corporation July 2009 – December 2010 Senior Logistics Analyst, V Supported the MDA Program Office as a Reliability and Supportability SME to the primary contractor – Boeing. Validated all relevant test data generated by subcontractors, and reviewed for relevancy, accuracy, and completeness before being entered into the master Reliability database maintained by the contractor. Contract ended. L-3 Corporation (Formerly SYColeman Corporation) December 2001 – June 2009 Senior Logistics Analyst, IV Provided oversight and support of Inter-Service Support Agreements (ISSAs) between the MDA Program Office and sub-contractors to the Prime contractor. Represented the GMD Logistics Directorate (GMK) on all matters pertaining to new facility construction, transportation scheduling, and coordination. Prepared “White Papers” for senior management on issues affecting program requirements, and schedules requiring Program Office attention. Conducted briefings to Senior Program management personnel on the status of missile field construction schedules, potential risk areas, and mitigation actions required and taken. Contract ended. MILITARY EXPERIENCE: Retired U.S. Air Force, Wounded Vietnam Veteran Served 23 years as both enlisted and commissioned officer at all organizational levels in the US Air Force. Served as Staff Logistics Officer at Tactical Air Command (TAC) Headquarters preparing logistics plans and schedules for deployment of aircraft and weapons systems in support of worldwide contingency plans. Site manager for recovery operations involving both aircraft and nuclear accidents/incidents in South Carolina, Spain, and Greenland. Commanded a 15 man Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) unit at Pleiku Air Base, Republic of Vietnam. Wounded-in-action while attempting to neutralize Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) placed by Vietcong insurgents. VA disability rated at 40 percent.
