Introduction This is a suite of three very short duets for flute and guitar. The first one, Minor Playtime, was written as a wedding gift for m y wife’s daughter, Valerie, who was married in our garden at “SwallowHill” in the summer of 1994. It was also my first non-piano composition — following the acquisition of, and addiction to, a synthesizer at the beginning of that year. Instrumentation Flute Guitar (acoustic nylon) Duration Playing time should be approximately 6 minutes in total, as follows: Minor Playtime Hill 60 Skip Take The Whole Cow
