Introduction: Generally increase of cotton package this is known as pirn & increases of jute yarn this is known as cop. There are some constructional different between cop is pirn. Object: To wind the jute yarn in the cop for further processing. Main parts of the machine: Motor Motor shaft Warm Warm wheel Sensor Stop motion Spindle Working principle: This machine gets motion by motor. This motion is transfer by warm wheel. Finally spindle gets speed from the warm wheel. Specification: R.P.M of motor =3000 Warm teeth =9 Warm wheel teeth =29 Spindle speed =3000 r.p.m
Calculation: Rpm of cop = 3000 × 3/29 = 310.34 Traverse rate = 3000 x 9/29 x 2 =1862.069
Conclusion: This machine is mostly used cop winding machine in jute mills. So learning about this machine is very much necessary. In this experiment we take specification of different parts, calculate the production and traverse rate. We also draw the gearing diagram and yarn path diagram of the machine. So the experiment is a successful one.
