Title of The Project: Student Information System Introduction: Student Information Systems are the primary systems for operating colleges. The Student Information System is a student-level data collection system that allows the Department to collect and analyze more accurate and comprehensive information. Student information systems provide capabilities for entering student records, tracking student attendance, and managing many other student-related data needs in a college or university. Student Information System also supports: -Handling inquiries from prospective students. -Handling the Student details. -Maintaining the Student Marks Details. -Handling Student Attendance Records. -Maintaining records of absences and attendance. -Maintaining records of Internal marks. Objective: -To make the application of Student Information System usable for the College or Universities. -To access the student's records and get the desired information which may require. -To automate the existing system of manually maintain the records of the student records, Attendance Details, Internal Marks etc. -To increase data accuracy, make student information management more secure, effective, convenient. -To coordinate information across the system to simplify student access to University resources Scope: This project is aimed at how the institute can improve the efficiency of the services. Student Information System is one of the application to improve the information of any particular student.

After long time of break i am back on blog.Today i would like to share an interesting project called 'Crime Reporting System' which developed in PHP and MySQL as Database backend. Purpose: This Software Requirements Specification provides a complete description of all the functions and specifications CRIME REPORTING WEBSITE. With the help of this software people can easily submit their FIR in the Police Station. So all the processes of FIR done very easily. Definition “WEBSITE ON CRIME REPORTING” can handle data of criminals who are under the judicial surveillance or are trial. This portal will be most use for Police Department/ DEFENCE for searching for criminals. Anyone can report a FIR online, MISSING citizen search, secure registration and profile management facilities for detectives and security agencies, Facilitate communication between all stakeholders- Discussion forms. Software Requirement:

PHP – It is used for front end tools for the system. MYSQL - Used to maintain the database. So, you can call it to back-end of system. Web Server - Apache web server or other who concern with PHP codes or scripts. It is basically used to run the PHP code or file on browser. Web-browsing software-Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer or other -Flash Player.
