Spacer’s Guide to Drinks and Cuisine around the Galactic Rim by Nicholas Leydig

Hi I’m Vander Dreck and I’ve been from one end of the Galactic rim to the other in my travels. In the last 65 years I’ve worked in or around cantinas, bars, restaurants and dirty little holes in the wall places. I’ve been a fry cook, did a stint as a kloo horn player, bouncer, transporter of questionable goods, card dealer, miner, air taxi driver, mechanic and lastly a bartender.

You can say I never really found my niche in life or that I never liked to be one place for long. I think that it has given me a unique perspective on liquid refreshments and the delectables that is served with them.

Theses experiences have been collated into a guide for spacers so they know what they are ordering in a cantina and what to avoid. I hope you enjoy reading this guide as much I did writing it, and if you are ever in the Minos Cluster look up Dreck’s Dump. Mention this guide and I will treat you to a drink.
