PURPOSE: - To establish a system for Operation, Maintenance and cleaning of Belt Conveyors.

SCOPE: - Applicable to lime stone crusher, crusher, raw material handling, raw mill feeding & reect material, coal handling, coal mill feeding, gypsum and clin!er clin!er e"traction and cement mill feeding and reect coarse belt.

Actiit!  All the operatives to be instructed to use ''/s i.e. $ust Mas!, #elmet, #and 0loves, ar 'lugs etc. while wor!ing near the belt conveyor. Only competent person may be deployed for the operation of the Belt Conveyors. The above persons are instructed not to wear loose cloths. Chec!ing of all the pull cords and other e(uipments and safety devices provided in the system. #ooter signal to be given to other wor!ing crew wor!ing in the adacent area, to protect themselves and remove all the material from the nearby area. *t is ensured that belt conveyor is not overfilled to avoid spillage of material. 'roper operation of dust collectors and there should be proper suction in the transfer point. *f fugitive emission is there near the transfer points following points should be chec!ed -rectified. *t is ensured that all venting line is clear at all the transfer points. 'lugging of entry of false air from dust collector & from c!t.

The hammering on the bari is done by two persons +one by one, to avoid tiredness. Bari top should be flat enough to avoid slipping of hammer from Bari.
