Overall goal was to become a trusted technical advisor to the customer while building on a long term relationship over multiple years. As a transactional engineer, individually or as part of a team worked within a time frame to design implement and support specific core and advance networking technology projects. Types of projects included Routing and Switching, Wireless, Unified Communications (Voice), Data Center, both LAN/WAN and a multitude of others technologies.

Worked as an individual or as a team lead on design, implementing and support of Cisco based technology projects. Responsibilities also included formulating relationships with Cisco as a partner and various customers for the purpose of fostering business opportunities.
Lead Network Engineer, RPM Consulting Laurel, Md. (May, 1996 – Dec, 1998) As a networking consultant, supported Cisco based customer networks. Primary customers were Fanny Mae and First Union Bank. Worked as part of a team and as team lead in the implementation and support of new and existing networking technologies equipment. Worked with various networking technologies including both routers and switches, routing and routed protocols. Lead a three-person team, which designed one of the first Cisco Catalyst 5000 switch implementations consisting of over two thousand switches.
