With paints apply 2 coats primer sanding each coat with 220 sandpaper when dry. Apply 3 coats color sanding with 400 sandpaper when dry. Apply final coat of Krylon Clear. All Krylon paints are non-toxic when dry.

This Commando is constructed from cherry hardwood finished with 4 coats of polyurethane clear gloss.First two coats sand with 220 grit sandpaper. Third coat sand with 400 grit sandpaper. Do not sand fourth coat.

2. Glue and clamp the two Step 1 Assemblies to the Part 1 Commando Helicopter fuselage. Refer to the full size Precision Line Orthographic drawings on pages 17 thru 19 for exact placement. Let the assembly dry before proceeding to Step 3. 4

The Commando Helicopter shown in the step-by-step instructions is shown in furniture grade Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF). All edges of the toy are rounded with 220 grit sandpaper to remove the sharp edges of every corner. Medium
Density Fiberboard is tough material and will make a toy that lasts a lifetime. The final finish is 3 coats of Krylon Triple Thick Clear sanded with 400 grit sandpaper between the first two coats and then not sanded on the last coat.
