 SCRIPT FOR TEACHERS DAY CELEBRATION

Andy hargraves once said, “Teaching is a very emotional practice. It creates, it colors, it   changes our lives.” Certainly, there can be no better profession that educates, informs,

inspires, encourages and at the same time teaches us to inculcate a way of life and most importantly prepares us for a world that is not easy to handle. As an old ada ge says “ Teaching is the noblest ______”  The celebration of WORLD teacher’s day is held annually since O ctober 5, 1994. (the year

when I was born). It’s been 23 years of recognizing the importance of educators in the future of every generation and to show appreciation and highlight the many contribution of the teaching profession. As we all know that teaching is all about changing and transforming the lives of children and young people and their families. This year we are celebrating under the theme “Teaching in Freedom, Empowering teachers”  

With due respect and honor to our Schools Division Superintendent, DR. FIDELA M. ROSAS, CESO V. To the Education Program Supervisor I of Filipino, Maam Mary Grace M. Tadulan. Thank you so much maam for those warm words of welcome. It is only the school that can provide the potentialities of man. And John Amos Comenius concluded that the school is a true forging place of men. It is for this reason that we are here gathered this morning, my friends in the service, to acknowledge the participants and to give honor to the people who runs the different schools in our district, the backbone of every learning institution, considered as the unsung heroes of the DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION, molder and mentor wh whose ose functio function n is to mold th the e youth from mud into a big ston stone e . and it is US TEACHERS. Wow that was a very lively activity. As educators we need to be alert, alive and enthusiastic! Thanks Maam albino. Without further ado, let us all lend our ears, and focus our attention to the message of a woman who has distinct vision and with fountainhead of illuminating ideas of continuously improving this productive and growing municipality now renown as ECOReligious Tourism Center Center of Surigao del Norte. She is an icon of good and unselfish endeavors, ladies and friends, help me in welcoming our municipal mayor HON. RICHELLE B. ROMARATE, MSCE. MAYOR Thank you Mayor. There are people who come in our lives and leave a burning sensation that lights up inside each of us. In my life there’s a woman whom I met 11 years ago. Met her in my 1 st year high

school but the best moment was in 3rd  year. There was moment when I want to give up but she At this very moment please allow me to say THANK you to this lady who is my inspirati inspiration on to become a teacher. Because of her kindness and motherly treatment during that time, I really told myself “I WILL BE LIKE HER, I WILL BECOME a teacher. With great vigor in my

command, a round of applause to the FAIRYGOD MOTHER OF TUBOD DISTRICT, Maam Mary Grace M. tadulan, EPS-I Filipino for her talk about the significance of the day! This undertaking is also __ as an avenue for learning . at this very moment is the LEARNING RESOUCE FESTIVAL To read to us the Overview of LRMDS framework let me call in, on DR. CARMEN BESARIO, to be followed by the reading of DepEd Style Guidelines and Specification by Mr. Ivan paul damalerio. Lets give them a sonorous round of applause. To complete this extraordinary event let us liten to the inspirartional message of this extraordinary woman of countless and clever philosophies, the navigator of this falship pf leadership of SURIGAO DEL NORTE DIVISION, I think she deserves 10 second standing ovation as our way of recognizing her countless efforts in inspiring and encouraging every teacher to strive hard in their chosen profession.
