HOW TO USE THESE C ARDS The SciFi Weapon Cards are designed to be used as a visual representation of extraordinary ranged, melee, and heavy weapons for modern military or sci-fi games. Each card presents a unique weapon, ammo, attachment, or equipment that can be utilized by PCs or NPCs. The cards allow the GM to present a visual of the weapon along with all applicable stats for that weapon. This way a GM doesn’t have to create this ahead of time and find a way to present that weapon to its new onwer, they simply hand them the card and game play can continue. Each card, designed for use with Savage Worlds, has a series of icons on the front to represent specific stats along with additional description and irregular stats particular to that weapon. 1. The notes section (on the rear of the cards) contains a number of other specifics for that particular weapon including the standard AP (Armor Piercing) rating, Auto, Semi-Auto, 3RB, Minimum Strength, Reach, Parry, Snapfire, and Heavy Weapon. When new mechanics not found in the Savage Worlds Deluxe core rulebook are introduced, they are described in the notes section. The bullets on the bottom are provided as a way of tracking ammo. Some of the weapons have Options. These options are attachments that can be fitted to the weapon, providing additional ability. These options are not provided with the weapon at its given cost. If a player wishes to utilize these options, they must pay the additional cost for the attachment and add it to the weapon (as denoted on the attachment cards). This allows GMs to provide different versions of the weapons as they deem appropriate.
