Introduction (1 Page & Picture of the Product)

Coffee is one of the staple drinks in the Philippines. It is not only prepared for breakfast but any time of the day. According to Philippine Star, coffee production in the Philippines began as early as 1740 when the Spanish introduced coffee in the islands. It was once a major industry in the Philippines, which 200 years ago was the fourth largest coffee producing nation. As of 2014, the Philippines produces 25,000 metric tons of coffee and is ranked 110th in terms of output. However local demand for coffee is high with 100,000 metric tons of coffee consumed in the country per year. Starbucks, Figaro, The Coffee Bean, Bo’s Coffee and Seattle’s Best are few of the well-known coffee shops in the Philippines that cater customers of all ages. They offer different drinks from hot to cold and blended drinks. Coffee can be considered as one of the important drink here in our country. One reason is that it contains caffeine that keeps people awake in times that they need to. Another reason is that it calms the body and mind and makes some people happy. Coffee has also some health benefits that make it even better. Due to this facts, the idea for Café di Cono arises. We can derive that more and more people are loving coffee. Every now and then, another store will pop out offering the same classic menu of espresso, Americano, latte and the like. We need to level up the serving of coffee to add more spice to it and bring excitement to the customer. From this, we’ve come up with the idea of having coffee in a cone. II.

Executive Summary a. Vision

Café di Cono will become the foremost coffee shop in the area. We will serve a perfect product at a very reasonable price. We will also be a meeting place for artists and writers and a place for them to show off their work. We will also be a place where students can meet up to study and do projects. We will create an a light atmosphere where we can weave a fabric of positive experiences that stretch out from the coffee shop and out into the world. b. Mission Café di Cono will make its best effort to create a unique place where customers can socialize with each other in a comfortable and relaxing environment while enjoying the best brewed coffee or espresso and pastries in town. We will be

in the business of helping our customers to relieve their daily stresses by providing piece of mind through great ambience, convenient location, friendly customer service, and products of consistently high quality. Café di Cono will invest its profits to increase the employee satisfaction while providing stable return to its shareholders. OUR MISSION is to serve everyone better than anyone else. III.

Café di Cono is the Spanish term for “coffee in a cone”. It is our general concept – to serve coffee in a cone aside from the traditional way of serving coffee in a cup or mug. b. Type of Business Organization This business will be managed and funded by two people that make it a partnership organization. d. Location of the Business The locale of the Business will be in Concepcion, Tarlac. Concepcion is considered to be a first class municipality in Tarlac. Marketing Plan a. Target Market

Coffee is a drink for all ages. Mainly, the target market is the students (elementary to college). Employees around the area are the secondary target. But basically, it is suitable for everyone. b. Marketing Strategies Having a unique product is highly effective as a marketing strategy. At first it will be the attention getter but as time goes by, people will get used to it. That’s why, our “coffee in a cone” is our frontliner, and it is supported by our other quality coffee products. During the first weeks, we will conduct promos for our products to gain more customers. Once we’ve proved that we offer quality products, the customers will come back to our shop even without the promos. Uniqueness and quality products will be our foundation. VI.
