LAND AND PROJECT INFORMATION 1.1

The total land cover by the proposed site is 0.51 acre (0.21 ha).

1.2

The existing terrain of the site is at RL72.5m at the northwest corner to RL57.8m at the southeast corner of the lot. The site is drained by existing internal drains within the compound, discharging to existing public drains via the adjacent lot bordering the southern lot boundary. The existing internal drains will be partially repurposed for this new development.

1.3

The access to the proposed site is via Jalan Semantan 2 at the site’s Northern Boundary. General site location in the immediate vicinity is shown on the key plan (Figure 1) and location plan (Figure 2).

1.4

The surrounding areas of the lot are developed.

1.5

The proposed development will consist of 3 levels above ground and 3 levels below ground.

METHOD STATEMENT 2.1

Rainwater from flat roof shall be channeled to the Rainwater Harvesting Tank. Water storage in Rainwater Harvesting Tank shall then use for landscaping and washing use.

2.2

Rainwater harvesting system include rainwater pre-filters, storage tanks, distribution pumps, controls, and water treatment.

2.3

Rainwater harvesting system consisting of manufactured components integrated into automated system. The system shall collect rainwater from the roof and convey rainwater through roof drains, downspouts and conveyance piping, self-cleaning, gravity fed pre-filters. Filtered rainwater will travel through the pre-filter and into a rainwater storage tank. Water will be drawn out of the storage tank and pumped through a packaged pumping system to the irrigation/plumbing system. The pumping system will be design to provide water at the desired design point on an on-demand basis.

2.4

Design Requirements: Filter, store, and distribute harvested rainwater.

2.5

Water Disinfection Methods: May include sediment filtration, ultraviolet treatment, chlorine injection, carbon filtration, or a combination thereof.
