Control Measures

Use proper PPE & Clothing should be proper, grinder to be checked before use. Check all the cable must be double insulated and should be good condition, connection toin  power supply should be proper. Use only approved scaffolding erected by trained scaffolders under competent supervision. Full body harness to be used while working at height and anchored and to secure location. Barricade the area, secure the material properly, ensure ensure “toe  boards” and hand rails are installed, use proper PPE. Proper tagging and proper inspection

Provide sufficient Lightings, Safety vests. Maintain good housekeeping and do visual inspection of workplace starting the work.

Conduct tool box talk on heat stress, Drink Plenty of Pure water (Min 6 liter a day) and rehydration drinks. Shaded rest area to be provided. Periodic inspection of power tools Training on proper replacing of grinding disk proper cable management and cable should be  placed away from wet ground Ear plugs used by all workers constantly exposed to grinding noise Spark containment utilized Proper gloves and face mask  provided. Color coded.

Conduct tool box talk, Provision of proper PPE, Adequate ventilation and First aid facilities. Only competent person use the sealant gun. Proper housekeeping and segregation of hazardous waste and placed on hazardous waste storage area.
