1. a - I rejoiced because they said to me, b - “We will go up to the house of the LORD.” c - And now we have set foot d - within your gates, O Jerusalem. 2. a - Jerusalem, built as a city b - with compact of unity. c - To it the tribes go up, d - the tribes of the LORD. 3. a - According to the decree for Israel, b - to give thanks to the name of the LORD. c - In it are set up judgment seats, d - seats for the house of David. 4. a - Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! b - May those who love you prosper! c - May peace be within your walls, d - prosperity in your buildings. 5. a - Because of my brothers and friends b - I will say, “Peace be within you!” c - Because of the house of the LORD, our God, d - I will pray for your good.
