WE KEEP YOU MOVING In early 1987 REDI-MEDIC® began producing soft shell emergency kits as an alternative to the standard metal box kits of the day. This was the beginning of a new industry. It was also a better system to use when responding to critical situations. Soft shell kits were, and are today, significantly lighter and far more versatile than the metal box style. Our soft shell (nylon) case concept lends itself not only to customization of size, shape, and material, but also hundreds of colour combinations. This CLEVER IDEA drew us immediately into the industrial, rescue, sport, private label and promotional marketing industries.

First Aid Kits have come a long way from klunky metal boxes.

We use North American made products whenever possible as well as design and manufacture over three quarters of our emergency cases here in Canada. We test our products here where the temperature ranges from -65°F to +95°F. We know what works and we do not use gimmicky products.

In 1993 we began an ongoing working relationship with Cosmo Industries. They provide adults with intellectual and/or multiple disabilities the opportunity to participate and contribute as fully as they are able, to all aspects of community life.Cosmo provides many services to REDI-MEDIC®.

A few years ago we incorporated modern technology with our product line. Every kit comes with access to downloadable video instruction as an additional benefit to owning one of our products. This is the same level of training that occupational health and safety has mandated to be taught to workers in industry. We've also developed a program for auto accident procedures and a watercraft operation course. We continue to develop our instructional video library in order to best serve our customers and distributors

We will cover the damage to your product caused by a defect in the workmanship or quality of the materials. We have the right at our option, to repair or replace merchandise. The St. Bernard dog breed began in a pass in the Swiss/Italian alps in the late 1600’s. Early stories suggest the dogs were used as guide dogs for the hospice in the pass. They found that the breed had a sharp sense of direction and, as it turned out, was an excellent rescue dog. After severe storms packs of two or three would be sent out looking for lost or trapped travelers. The dogs would find people trapped in snow and dig them out. If they weren’t able to move, one dog would lay with the person providing valuable heat while the other would return to the hospice to alert the monks and bring them back to help.

Rumors at the time had the dogs carrying a flask filled with brandy. This was mostly the stuff of storytellers of the time. The monks of the St. Bernard Hospice deny that any St. Bernard ever carried a cask with liquor. They do, however, keep casks around for tourists to photograph. The most famous St. Bernard was Barry who is said to have saved the lives of more than 40 stranded travelers and climbers. Over the years the breed has been credited with saving thousands of lives in the European mountains. The St. Bernard is powerful, intelligent and very muscular while maintaining a gentle and kind disposition.

ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS -

Digital Artwork – PC compatible preferred. Artwork can be accepted by CD Rom or email ([email protected]). Acceptable formats are: .CDR, .EPS, .AI, .PSD, .TIF, .DST. Camera ready, to size, sharp black and white line art, text & graphics that does not require touch up, and color separated. All fonts must be converted to outlines prior to submission. Artwork requiring revisions will incur an art charge at the rate of $60.00 (G) per hour. Normal typesetting is done at $12.00 (G). There will be an additional charge of $12.00 (G) for a new proof.

PMS COLORS AND DARK COLORED PRODUCTS

- PMS matches are available at $15.00 (G) per color, per order on most products. - Dark colored products will alter the appearance of most imprint colors; PMS matches cannot be achieved on dark colored products without a white underlay, which will incure additional costs.
