Concrete of today is a versatile material. But there is a quest amongst concrete engineers for a still higher strength, higher performance and higher durability concrete.

RPC with trade name „DUCTAL‟ was developed in France in the early 1990s The concept of RPC was first developed by Mr.Richard and Mr.Cheyrezy at Bouygues, laboratory in France The world‟s first RPC structure, the Sherbrooke Bridge in Canada, was constructed in July 1997
