Description
Tajika Yogāḥ Ikkavala : Grahas in Kendra or Panaphara (2, 5, 8, 11) give good results. Indubāra: Grahas in Apoklima (3, 6, 9, 12) give inauspicious results. Ittaśāla: a. Vartamana – [existing, abiding] Grahas are within dīptāmśa and the faster moving graha has a lower ecliptical longitude. b. Pūrṇā – the faster graha is within 1 °of the slower graha. This gives immediate fruition. c. Bhaviṣyat – [about to become, future] two grahas are in a house relationship but without dīptāmśa relationship but the faster moving graha is at a lower degree so the event will eventually occur. Look for additional strengths or weaknesses with placement association, friendly sign, etc. Īśarāpha:
The faster graha is ahead of the slower graha. This gives failure and disappointment. Nakta:
Lagneśa and Karyeśa without dīpāmśa or rāśi relationship but another fast moving graha who has aspect with both of the L & K is linking their dīptāmśas. Results required through a middleman or 3 rd party. Example: Me & Sa in a 6/8 relationship; Mo is 5 away from Me & 4 away from Sa thereby linking the dīptāmśas of Me and Sa. Yamayā:
Any graha linking aspects of Lagneśa and Karyeśa that aren’t in an aspecting relationship. Example: Ju(in 10) links Lagneśa Lagneśa (Ve7, in 7th) & Karyeśa (Moon4, in 8th) with 4/10 & 3/11 aspects. Maṇaū:
Itthaśāla yoga exists. Sa /Ma aspect on the faster graha from 1, 4, 7, (or 10 with Sa) away. Gives unsuccessful results. Kambūla
Auspicious (mostly) for success. Strength based on… a. Uttamottama – When the Moon relates with at least 1 graha that makes Itthaśāla and all grahas strong. b. Uttama Madhyama – Lagneśa/Karyeśa at least Sva in D-3, 9, 30 and in
Itthaśāla Yoga with each other with the Moon’s influence who is sva/ucca. c. Uttama – Moon joins two grahas that are in Itthaśāla Yoga while being
(Mo) in exalted condition. d. Uttamādhama – [best of worst] L/K in IŚY occupy enemy’s signs/nica while Moon has IŚY with at least one graha while being (Mo) sva/ucca. e. Madhyamottama – Two grahas in IŚY with Moon’s involvement while
the Mo is in ordinary condition. f. Madhyama Madhyama – L/K in IŚY with ordinary placement but placed well in D-3, 9, 1. Success assured but only with hard work. g. Madhyama – L/K in IŚY with Moon’s involvement while all grahas are
ordinary. Success but with effort/difficulty. h. Madhyama - L/K in IŚY dignified in D-1, 9, Hadda? With Moon’s relationship while Moon is ordinary. i. Adhama Kambūla - L/K in IŚY while being nicca with Moon participating
but ordinary. j. Adhamottma - L/K in IŚY and strongly conditioned while Moon
participates but is nicca k. Adhama Kambūla - L/K in IŚY and ordinary while Moon participates, being nicca or in enemies rāśi. l. Adhama Kambūla - L/K in IŚY with Moon participating and all grahas are weakly conditioned.
Gairi Kambūla
Lagneśa and Karyeśa form Itthaśāla Yoga, ordinary conditioned Moon (not in relationship to L & K) at the final 1 ° of a rāśi. Upon entering the next rāśi, the Moon forms Kambūla Yoga. Relationship with either one of the L/K is OK. Phala: Achievement of the desired results become possible with the help of another, possibly a superior officer. Kallāsara
Itthaśāla Yoga exists between the Lagneśa and Karyeśa while the Moon is devoid of any condition (either +/-). The Moon’s dīptāmśa also doesn’t interact with the L/K. Phala: Inauspicious, destroys Kambūla Yoga [Lit. Case of Containment]. Raḍḍa
“Cancellation” a. A weak graha associated with two grahas forming Itthaśāla Yoga will hinder desired results especially while the weak graha is combust, in enemy’s rāśi, etc. b. Lagneśa in Apoklima while Karyeśa is weak in Kendra. Phalam: Begins
with progress, then progress arrests ( नशियत). c. A graha in apoklima having Itthaśāla Yoga with a graha in Kendra gives a disappointing start with a positive ending. Duḥ Phalikutha
A slower moving graha who hold strength and forms Itthaśāla with a faster moving graha that is in ordinary strength. This foreshadows success whereas if the faster moving graha is the weak participant, this portends ill, is not conducive to success. Dūtthottha
Lagneśa / Karyeśa are weak (combust, enemy’s rāśi, nicca, retrograde). One of these grahas is in Itthaśāla Yoga with another graha who is strong. Phalam: this will show good effects to the query. Example: Aries lagna. I
and Job= Mars and Shani. Mars in 10 th and Shani in 4th (w/o Itthaśāla Yoga). Sva Guru in 9th gives Itthaśāla with Mars so success is there. Tambīra
Lagneśa / Karyeśa not in Itthaśāla Yoga but the faster moving planet is in the last degree of a sign →once it goes into the next rāśi, Itthaśāla is formed. Fulfills desires. (This is similar to Bhaviśyat Ittha ऽ āla Yogam). Kuttha
Strengths – in descending order 1. a. Graha in the Lagna b. Graha in Panaphara c. Graha in Āpoklima 2. Sva, Ucca 3. Stable = free of combustion and not retrograde 4. Association/Aspect by SC NB 5. Venus, Moon, Mars are strong in the afternoon (when w/o combust) 6. Jupiter, Saturn are stronger in the latter half of night 7. Puṃ Liṅgam grahas are stronger during the day – Sun, Jupiter, Mars 8. Strī Liṅgam grahas stronger at night – Venus, Moon, Mercury, Saturn 9. Grahas in Leo Navāmśa are weak 10. Grahas in Cara rāśi are strong (2, 5, 8, 11) 11. Strong = Puṃ grahas in Bhavāḥ 11-3 /Strī grahas in 4-10 12. Male graha are strong in odd signs while female grahas are strong in even signs Dur(ḥ)pha
Weaknesses – in descending order
1. Grahas in Trikasthāna are weak 2. Retrograde grahas are weak 3. Grahas in enemies sign, nicca, asp/ass with Natural Malifics 4. Aspected by a cruel planet from 1, 4, 7, 10 5. Graha in Itthaśāla Yoga with a weak planet makes that first graha weaker - Other factors hindering results – 1. Graha not aspecting the Lagna 2. Graha in Leo Navāmśa
