The meaning of vandalism is "action involving deliberate destruction of or damage to public or private property. Yes I think vandalism is on the rise because we can see at many places there are lots of criminal damage such as graffiti and defacement directed towards any property without permission of the owner. There is no clear-cut reason or cause for school violence. However, there are factors that can increase a student's likelihood to commit a type of school crime. Some of these factors include: An impoverished community, poor academic success, a history of violence , poor family structure, the use of tobacco, alcohol and drugs, being bullied by others and behavioural factors such as impulsiveness, attention deficit disorder and hyperactivity There will be a lot of trouble for the teachers, students and principals as the teachers and principals would have to find out who caused the vandalisms and the student might be accidentally blamed for doing a crime he or she did not commit. The visitors who visit the school will have a bad impression on that school as the certain place is vandalised.

Guess who usually pays for the vandalised properties in school? The principle of course! That will affect the school budget as if more people vandalises, the principle will have to fork out more money to pay for the damage.
