Project Summary:
The Person will be first logged on (after they are registered). The person will be able to lodge complaints on the basis of location like College Campus, Hostel, Mess, Library, etc. A subcategory through which the complaints will be diverted to that respective authority.
Technical Details of the Project: a) Origin of the Proposal: Internet b) Objective: Complaint Management System for College c) Work Plan: First develop an application and then deploy it on cloud network. d) Product Features: Database being used will be Microsoft SQL Server. Project will be deployed on a Cloud Server preferably Google Cloud. The project has been developed on ASP.NET. e) Requirements: Functional Requirement
Applicant will be logged by using credentials and will put the complaint which will directed to the Administrator and then the Administrator will set the complaint status as per the progress.
User Interfaces: Login Screen: Here the user will able to login using his/her Login ID and Password, option of Forgot Password will also be provided. Home Page for Users: Instructions regarding how to use application.
Software Requirements (for mobile): Internet support.
Software Requirements (for system): IE6 and above.
Hardware Requirements: Processor clocked above 2.0 GHz Minimum System Ram required is 2GB.
Security Requirements: A safe and secure network (preferably certified) must be used at all times to prevent access by unauthorized users. All the users must be provided unique login IDs. Backup must be regularly maintained. Communication Interface: The application is cloud based and therefore require a network connection linking it to the internet and would require to access its database which may be housed locally or on a central server. The network protocols that provide a safe and secure relay of these messages will be used. f) Software Model used: The planned software model used will be spiral modelling. g) Software Quality Attributes Reliability: The product shall be very reliable as it will regularly updated in terms of security as it’s security protocols will always remain up to date. This product, since it’s on cloud, will also be maintained by the cloud providers as well. Performance: Performance has been optimized for all the devices like Laptop, Desktop PCs, Tablets, Mobile. Performance is mainly concerned with the Internet connection or the LAN connection deployed, it has to be high enough to avail the cloud services.
Time Schedule: 3 Months.
Future Scope: This project has very high scope for the future. This project after running its successful course in Manipal University Jaipur can be expanded for future use.
Proposed outcome/findings: .NET Application Deployed and running successfully Over Cloud.
