1.-PROJECT EXECUTION 1.1 DOCUMENNT PURPOSE
This Project Execuon Plan species the approach, tasks and schedule or the Strategic Water Reservoirs. As well it idenes and addresses any unique challenges acing the Project. The Project will be designed and constructed to SWCC standards, with emphasis on addressing all environmental and saety issues. Also this document is intended to outline the proper sequence or material control, storage, abricaon, erecon, coang, inspecon and tesng o Potable Water Steel Storage Tanks (Capacity 170,000 M ³ each) in TAIF with Final Engineering

AICC/SWCC under contract in the kingdom o Saudi Arabia. The Execuon o the project works will be 36 months rom NTP. 1.2 PROJECT OVER VIEW
The project reers to the construcon o strategic drinking water reservoirs or Saline Water Conversion Corporaon (SWCC) at TAIF, KSA. The Strategic Reservoir at TAIF nine (9) steel tanks, each tank with a volume o 170,000 M³. The “Reservoir” project which concerns all installaons at TAIF including the individual Tanks & its mechanical works will be up to 36 months, as indicated in the schedule and general layout. The work workss shal shalll be executed executed on Engineeri Engineering, ng, Procur Procurement ement and Construc Construcon on basi basiss and include design, abricao abri caon, n, shop painng, painng, shop tesng, transport transport & delivery delivery to the site, storage storage on site, site, construco construcon, n, commissioning and handover. The scope o works includes more specically the ollowing:
Design, supply and construcon o steel storage tanks.
Design, supply and construcon o inlet, outlet, overow and drain piping.
Design, supply and installaon o tank instrumentao instrumentaon. n.
Design, supply and installaon o Aluminium Dome Roo.
Design, supply and installaon o Mixing System.
1.3 PROJECT MANAGEMENT SYSYTEM
A proven and integrated Project Management System will be ulized by Encocorp to acilitate acilitate monitoring and control o the Project. The PMS will provide precise and accurate inormaon to the Contractor, Contractor, Consultant and Client, enabling them to make decisions and implement acons or the successul execuon o the Project. Three essenal elements o the PMS are:
Project controls control s personnel assigned to enable the decisions required to ensure perormanc perormance e meets
the targets. A project plan to dene the technical, construcon constru con and schedule requiremen requirements, ts, and ideny the work responsibilies responsibili es o the teams.
A monitoring system to compare actual and orecast perormance pero rmance against the project plan, and to show actual and expected variances.
The PMS will provide reporng o the status o the Project, document scope changes, budget and schedule; it will also compare actual perormance with planned acvies and report the efect o ancipated changes on the nal date and budget. 1.3.1 PROJECT CONTROL An integral part o the PMS is the project controls uncon. procurement, construcon and pre-operaonal tesng o the Project. 1.3.2 PROJECT PLAN The project schedule will set out the Project's planning and controlling schedules. At the commencement o the project, the ollowing planning and control acvies will be undertaken:
The Project Master Schedule will be developed as the principal control document.
This summary schedule contains sucient detail to enable management to compare perormance against plan.
The master schedule will summarize project level schedules and dene established goals and milestones o major elements and duraons o work to be perormed and major precedence relaonships.
The Detailed Project Schedule will be developed as scope denion and work packages are nalized.
This schedule will represent all detailed work acvies and deliverables necessary to complete the Project.
The Control Level Schedules represent the day-to-day tasks which summarize acvies and/or
deliverables. The status o these tasks determines the status o related acvies in the Project Level Schedules.
1.3.3 PROJECT MONITORING
Project Management system will implement a monitoring system in all phases o project.
An electronic, automated and computerized monitoring system will be used to monitor the acvies o the Project.
1.4 PROJECT EXECUTION SUMMARY
A well-managed plan will be iniated rom the date that project execuon begins. An efecve project management system will be implemented to assist in efecvely managing project scheduling and me. The team will ensure that:
The crical path schedule o construcon is met or improved upon.
Engineering and procurement acvies are completed to support construcon requirements.
The Project will be executed or 36 months duraon. Within six months rom the project go-ahead, the ollowing will be completed:

A preliminary schedule or the Project has been developed using Primavera scheduling soware, showing a meline basis. The schedule was developed based on: 8.0

2.3.1 INITIAL IMPLEMENTATION SCHEDULE The project schedule as a management tool is structured to serve many purposes. At its most basic level it serves as an inormaon vehicle or in house review process, or or in house orientaon. At project incepon, the schedule becomes more o an internal management tool that outlines project accountability. 2.3.2 CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE
The rst construcon schedule issue will be to ideny acvies that clearly outline the project logic. This logic is constrained by a number o actors:
SWCC’s direcon on start-up date
Sucient lay down areas to receive materials
Site camp availability and related amenies
Temporary power supply
Capacity or transport o personnel Availabilityy o consumables, such as Steels, Pipes, Accessories, Paint, Welding Rods, Steel Shots, Steel Availabilit Grits and Garnet.
The construcon schedule will expand with sub-schedules addressing specic acvies and contracts. The construcon schedule will typically control all acvies.
The Project will be constructed in an orderly, organized, cost-efecve manner. To achieve this, it is planned that early works will start when SWCC gives direcon to go ahead with the project, the necessary government approvals are in place, inial mobilizaon to establish a spearhead is completed, the management team is idened and unconing, inial detailed design is under way and POs are placed or crical items. 2.3.3 CONSTRUCTION PACKAGE 1. 2. 2.3.4 SCHEDULE & MANPOWER An overall project schedule and Manpower orecast will be submied up on client request or with project documentaon. 3.-ENGINEERING AND DESIGN 3.1 ENGINEERING
Once AICC/SWCC has authorized the project to proceed, Encocorp will establish the engineering organizaon and assemble the necessary resources required to meet Project demands. In addion to detailed design drawings, detailed engineering will provide:

These will be coordinated with the work packages, construcon schedule and logiscs schedule. Addionally, engineers engineers and technical staf will be assigned to the construcon program or drawing interpretaon, interpreta on, and updang drawings to an "as built" status. 3.2 DESIGN

5.2 TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION FACILITIES
The Client (SWCC) shall arrange a plot near to the job site or temporary construcon acilies, such as camp, warehouse and other acilies. 5.2.1 WORKSHOP Contractor will construct and install a temporary workshop with a ull capacity to do the abricaon, shop painng, erecon and site painng acvies. construcon set up o site inrastructure will rely on portable generators unl the site distribuon or temporary construcon power is completed. 5.2.3 CONSTRUCTION FUEL STORAGE Fuel Requirements Fuel will be required or portable generators, portabl portable e light towers, portable heaters, mobile equipment used or construcon, mobile equipment used or construcon. Fuel Storage Inial lling will be rom either a small bulk uel carrier or a large tanker trailer. 5.2.4 CONSTRUCTION ACCOMMODATIONS ACCOMMODATIONS Encocorp will install a Camp with portable cabins/similar and it’s includes accommodaon, meals and transportaon transporta on or construcon personnel. Encocorp may also make arrangements with the operators o exisng lodging camps to ensure adequate housing and meal allowances or their workers prior to mobilizing to site. 5.2.5 WAREHOUSE & MATERIAL YARD Construcon warehousing warehousing will evolve with the Project. At the commencement o construcon, the lay-down area will be on leveled ground, and erected away rom any permanent building, power lines or pipelines. This will be accomplished right at the very beginning. From project incepon, all purchases will be logged into the materials control department, which will have sub-sorts outlining to which marshalling yard the item is to report, ming o the shipment, the end user, and the place o storage on-site. This will be the integra integrang ng control device or or the enre expeding, inial receiving, and shipping, site receiving, storing and dispensing efort. Standard warehouse pracces will be added including: receiving reports, short or damaged shipment reports, material turnover reports, consumable issues/replacements issues/replacements records, and day-to-day warehouse issue reporng. The shipments will see dispatching o steel plates, pipes, structural secons, ngs, consumables, pre-loaded construcon equipment, temporary structures and communicaons. The warehouse personnel at the material yard will be responsible or all above dues and arranging all personnel, materials and equipment transportaon across the site.
5.2.6 LAY-DOWN AREAS Rapid development o the lay-down areas at the site is absolutely essenal to e-in with the arriving loads. The operaon o place will begins once SWCC handover the site and the ollowing items will lay-down:

5.2.7 GENERAL SERVICES A Site Services will be used or the general services to the site. These dues will include:

Non-conorming items shall be controlled and documented by the use o a Non-conormance Report (NCR). The controls and related responsibilies and authories or dealing with non-conormance are dened.

9.1.6 INSTALLATION INSPECTION AND TESTING
A procedure or inspecon, tesng and documentaon o in-process and completed works shall be prepared or each Secon o the technical specicaons.
The Contractor shall develop Inspecon and Test Plan showing in detail the methods and ming or examinaons, measurements measurements or tests to assure compliance with the Contract requirements.
Inspecon and Test Plans and related procedures shall include provisions or ensuring and recording that prerequisites or any given test have been met, that adequate and calibrated instrumentaon is available and used, and that the necessary n ecessary inspecon is perormed.

Calibraon Cercates shall be provided or all test equipment by a laboratory or test acility that perorms test instrument calibraon.
All test equipment and instrument shall be maintained in operang condion throughout the duraon o use on this Project.
All standard tesng equipment and instrument required to perorm start-up and inial checkout and required unconal perormance tesng shall be provided by the Contractor or the equipment being tested.
14.1.2 TEST TYPE AND MEDIUM The test type will be Hydrostac Test and the medium will be water. The water will be supplied by AICC in line with the contract.
The hydrostac test test shall be per perormed ormed in accordance with API 6 5 0 Secon-7 Paragraph Paragraph 7.3.6
The Test water shall be clean/resh water.
Beore any external piping connected to the tank, the tank shall be lled with water and inspected requently during the lling operaon.
The tanks shall be le lled with water or a period over 48hours enough or checking, inspecon and selement o the oundaon.
The oundaon leveling shall be taken when the tank is empty.
The hydrotest has two (2) main purposes;
A ull scale test o the steel structure.
A ull scale test o the scope o ancipated selements.
