In “Operating Mode” - Select “DP Slave” and “DPV1”
Add new Virtual IO for Communication Outside of the Physically Installed IO Address Range. DCS and AS will Write and Read to and from the assigned area to the AS IO image (next slides how to). There can be up to 32 R/W blocks.

Setup “Send” address range from Siemens Slave to Yokogawa DCS Master (Ensure all settings are identical at Yokogawa end before downloading and connecting Profibus cable)
Setup “Receive” address range from Yokogawa DCS Master to Siemens Slave (Ensure all settings are identical at Yokogawa end before downloading and connecting Profibus cable) WARNING: A misconfiguration at either end will cause the PLC to STOP when connecting the Profibus cable Yokogawa Master Setup

In Sycon – Import S7 GSD file for relevant processor type and drag onto the profibus connection of the ALP121 module.
Add virtual modules of choice (must align with Simatic configuration). Input in Yokogawa must be matched with Output on Siemens.

Ensure “Enable DPV1” is Unchecked. Having this checked caused the PLC to STOP.
