Simple instructions on how to use Prezi....

Description

What is Prezi? Prezi is a web-based presentation application and storytelling tool that uses a single canvas. Unlike with PowerPoint that moves from slide to slide, Prezi presentations capture content in a spatial context. If you have some PowerPoint presentations, you can import them into your Prezi presentation. Prezi is perfect for classroom discussions or group projects. How to Use Prezi? 1. Go to www.prezi.com

2. If you do not have an account yet, you can create one by clicking the Sign up button or you can just simply Log in using your Facebook account on the upper right part of the page or below the Prezi video.

3. If you choose to Sign up, choose your Prezi license. You can select the Public option for a free account.

4. Fill out the required field in order to complete your Prezi account. Then click the check box of the ‘terms of use’ then click Sign up.

5. Once confirmed you can now Log in to your Prezi account.

6. Click New prezi to creat a new presentation.

7. Choose a template you want for your Prezi presentation. There’s a lot to choose from just scroll over the Templates section.

8. Once you choose your Template, you can now start creating your own presentation.

9. Like PowerPoint, there’s an Edit Path on Prezi wherein you can see and edit the pages you’ve created.

10. You can double click on a part of the template in which you want to put a text or click on the Edit Path area. Then click add text. Choose if the text you’ll type is a Title or a Subtitle. You can also choose the size and color of your font.

11. You can add Frames & Arrows located on the upper part of the page if you opt to.

12. If you’ll be using pictures, symbols and shapes, videos and music, just click the Insert button. You can also insert your PowerPoint presentation here if you want to convert it into Prezi presentation.

13. If you want to put a theme on your presentation, you can click the Template button and you can choose from different options or if you want to make more changes to your presentation, you can click Customize. You can also choose another Template here if you wish change to a different one.

14. When you’re done with your presentation or you just want to take a look at it, you can click the Present button to have a view on how your presentation would look like. You can still continue with your work by clicking Esc.

15. You can Undo (ctrl z) or Redo (ctrl y) the things you made to your presentation easily.

16. Click on the Save icon to avoid losing your work.

17. You can share you presentation by clicking the Share button. You can Start an Online Presentation, Share it on Facebook, Download as PDF or as a portable Prezi.

18. You can click Exit if you are done with the presentation. You can always go back and edit it if you want to make some changes in the future.

19. For more information, you can read Prezi’s Manual/FAQ or watch their Video Tutorial by clicking the Help and Settings that’s located on the upper right corner of the page.
