Montage

Description: Two pictures blended together to create a message. Date: May 30,2013 Course/Instuctor: Comm. 130 section 6 Brother Judkins Program/tools: Adobe Photoshop Objectives: Learn to blend two pictures together naturally. Process: I used one website to get my pictures then i saved them and placed them in Photoshop placing the sunset in first and the hotel on top. Then i masked the hotel to blend into the sunset so it would fade with the colors of the sunset. I then places in my text and made sure it matches up with the clock on the building.

Photodesign

Description: A photo which i took then turned into a meaningful message. Date: May 23, 2014 Course/Instuctor: Comm. 130 section 6 Brother Judkins Program/tools: Adobe Photoshop Objectives: Show my photoshop skills by editing a self taken picture. Process: I borrowed a camera from our schools library and set up my cap and goggles by my window for better lighting. I used Photoshop to edit my picture and to add text and color. While using Photoshop i needed to learn new ways to edit a picture and by using the school macs i was able to better my understanding of the tools.

Event Ad

Description: This is an ad describing a made up event using a scanned picture. Date: May 16,2014 Course/Instuctor: Comm. 130 section 6 Brother Judkins Program/tools: Microsoft word Objectives: I showed what i could do on word while using a picture i had to scan in from a scanner. Process: I took a photo that my roommate had drawn and i scanned in onto my computer. Then i placed it into microsoft word where i added text and color to made the Ad stand out more.

Brochure

Description: A brochure made for the upcoming 2016 Summer olympics focusing on swimming. Date: July 11, 2014 Course/Instuctor: Comm. 130 section 6 Brother Judkins Program/tools: Adobe illustrator Objectives: Inform people about the 2016 summer olympics swimming events. Process: I thought about what i wanted to do for this project and i love swimming and the olympics so thats what i decided to do. I used Adobe illustrator to create a logo for the Rio Olympics and then i created an outline for my brochure on adobe indesign to get the right measurements. I took my photos off of google which is also where i got all of my information.

Flier

Description: Information about the Graduate leadership conference Date: May 9, 2014 Course/Instuctor: Comm. 130 section 6 Brother Judkins Program/tools: Adobe indesign Objectives: create a flier using every element of the FOCUS book. Process: First i sketched my design and then i used adobe indesign to format all the material into the places i needed it to be. while working on this project i needed to focus on the audience mainly. i thought, who would be interested in a flier like this? after i gathered the research needed i made the flier look professional as well as interesting so people would actually be interested in seeing the message i was trying to get across.

Logos

Description: I created my own Logos for a fake comapny. Date: June 6,2014 Course/Instuctor: Comm. 130 section 6 Brother Judkins Program/tools: adobe illustrator Objectives: Figure out how to create a small logo that could be recognized for a buisness. Process: I had to figure out what company i would chose for my logo, so i created my own for a production company. Then i had to figure out what type of logos would go with a production comapany so i came up with different types of film pictures and created my own logos.escription: I created my own Logos for a fake comapny.

Buisness Cards Description: I created my own buisness cards for a fake company. Date: June 13, 2014 Course/Instuctor: Comm. 130 section 6 Brother Judkins Program/tools: adobe illustrator Objectives: Figure out how to create a standard card and fit all of my information on it. Process: First i needed to create my own logo and by doing that i used adobe illustrator to make the shapes and proper colors. Then i created a 3.5×2 cards to place my logo in and my contact information to my location. I had to bring my logo out of illustrator and placed it into indesign where i then created my stationary.

Stationery

Description: I created my own stationery from my buisness cards for a fake company. Date: June 13, 2014 Course/Instuctor: Comm. 130 section 6 Brother Judkins Program/tools: adobe illustrator Objectives: Figure out how to transfer a logo onto a stationary paper with all of my information. Process: First i needed to create my own logo and by doing that i used adobe illustrator to make the shapes and proper colors. Then i created a 3.5×2 cards to place my logo in and my contact information to my location. I had to bring my logo out of illustrator and placed it into indesign where i then created my stationery.

Webpage

Description: I created my own website to show off the logo that i created for my own company. Date: June 27, 2014 Course/Instructor: Comm. 130 section 6 Brother Judkins Program/tools: textwrangler Objectives: Use css files to create a website to display a self made logo. Process: I used textwrangler to create my webpage. I also used Photoshop and illustrator to resize my logo. When i used photoshop i have to use the eye dropper tool to grab the right color so that i could copy the same color for my webpage that i had for my logo. I copied the right color hex and pasted it into my web design outline.
