Piping Material Classes
Step 1: Process produces the Fluids list with •
Fluid(s) services,
•
Service conditions (range of temprature and pressure)
•
Basic material,
•
Corrosion allowance,

Step 3: Piping produces the Piping Classes Summary with •
Definition of type of valve (gate, globe , check, ball , butterfly, …),
•
Definition of trims of valves,
•
Definition of kind of gasket,
•
Definition of bolting quality,
•
The others requirements (corrosion, heat treatments, …),

Piping Material Matching What is Piping Material matching? A check to know if all materials required to fabricate a piping iso/spool are available at Site. In the positive the iso/spool is called a « Yes » iso/spool. It enables you to assess the workfront. To do the material matching you must allocate the BOM of the iso/spool to the materials in the Piping Material Management System. This is done by feeding the BOM with the iso/spool reference in the Piping Materials Management system. © 2 0 1 6
