Physics Laboratory Apparatus

1. Angle Indicator – Helps you find the exact angle measurement.

2. C- Clamp -. Used to hold light objects and to secure the position of the object.

3. Digital Adapter - The Digital Adapter is required when photogates, timing and counting sensors are used with any PASPORT interface. Allows you to connect old ULI digital sensors (photogates, radiation monitors, etc.)

4. Dynamic cart - provide sample tools to experiment with and demonstrate the laws of dynamics.

5. Dynamics Track Systems are perfect for investigating a wide range of concepts in physics, including Newton's Laws, collisions, velocity and acceleration. Used to determine the track of the dynamic cart.

6. Force Table - is designed for force and vector demonstrations. Consists of 4 pulleys, 4 weight hangers and 4 sets of slotted weights.

7. Force Sensor - is a transducer that converts a mechanical force input into an electrical output signal

  8. GLX Xplorer - The world's first graphing logger for science that truly stands alone. Captures, analyzes, annotates, stores and prints data quickly and seamlessly, without being connected to a computer. Collect Data in the Classroom or the Field, graphs, tables, digits, and meter displays and prints graphs and data directly to printers.

9. Measurement set – Set of measuring devices,

10. Meter stick – a stick consisting of a strip of wood or metal or plastic with a straight edge that is used for drawing straight lines and measuring lengths usually in meters.

11. Micrometer caliper – commonly used in mechanical engineering and electronics design. It is often used in determining the exact measurements of an item such as diameter, thickness, and length of solid bodies.

12. Motion sensor - A motion detector is a device that detects moving objects, particularly people.

13. Photogate Head - monitors the motion of objects passing through its gate, counting events as the object breaks the infrared beam. Its other functions are for conducting basic motion experiments, measuring acceleration of freefall, and Measuring pendulum periods

14. Photogate Mounting Bracket – it is an accessory tool for photogate head and projectile launcher.

15. Picket Fence – The free falling object. It is often used in experiment of Newton’s second law of motion.

16. Projectile Ball – Used in the experiment of projectile motion.

17. Projectile Launcher - illustrates the idea that motion in different dimensions is absolutely independent, and used to describe the exact motion of the projectile as well.

18. Ramrod – It is often used to push the projectile up against the propellant.

19. Set of weights - is a mathematical device used when

performing a sum, integral, or average to give some elements more "weight" or influence on the result than other elements in the same set.

20. Super Pulley - main function is to change the direction of the tension force in a rope. It also lessens the amount of force we will exert.

21. Ticker Tape Timer - In physics the tape is often used in what are generally called recording timers. These timers act as clocks or stop watches. They make individual "tic" marks on the paper tape at regular time intervals as the tape is pulled through the device.

22. Time-of-Flight Accessory is designed primarily for free fall or projectile experiments. Once the object hits its plate, it will send a signal to the photogate to stop the timer.

23. Triple beam Balance – Often used in measuring the mass of an object, most commonly small objects. Reading is done by moving the slides until balance is achieved.

24. Vernier Caliper – a measuring instrument. Close the jaws lightly so that the object can be measured.

25. Weight Hangers – It is an instrument used in measuring weights and used in hanging different objects.
